Current Dollfie Dreams dolls have an internal skeleton and a few interchangeable parts like hands, heads, and bust piece. The older ones have actual ball joints. There's several different models and not all of them are compatible with each other.
Azone/Obitsu dolls have a different aesthetic but are better for completely custom. Replacement parts are easier to source, the skeleton is standardized (1/3 parts fit on a 1/3 skellie whether the doll is 48cm or 60), and everything is cheaper brand-new than any Volks doll new or acceptable secondhand
