Just got Unist over the weekend. This shit is awesome, but is Eltnum good for someone first getting into anime fighters? Her Unist Bnbs seem like they'd be hard to land online.
Feel free to come in and get some matches with anons as well if they feel like making lobbies
I've been looking at her some and it looks like you can approach with the dash b or c move that'a s low as well. Whichever one of the two is the one that literally launches her across the screen and looks like she trips.

All the characters are good to start with and you should play who you like, don't worry too much about whos good "in netplay".
Eltnum specifically is a great character to learn the game with, because she has a bit of everything and its all pretty good. She has a meterless invincible reversal, good range with whip and gunshots, combos off nearly every hit, overhead and command throw, and a crazy vorpal trait. Stick with her and you'll learn everything you need to know and how to deal with everyone else.

>command throw are you talking about the dive kick? Or she has an actual command grab like Mika/ Gord?
Lincoln Perez
Yeah I'm talking about j.214b. It's not a conventional command throw since it comes in from the air, but its very usable on patient opponents/off some setups.

So we're getting the two new characters at EVO, right? They'll be DLC, right? We won't have to rebuy the entire game, right?
Jason Stewart
I don't see why Akatsuki isn't easy. He's super simple execution wise with only a few delays and he doesn't even have to do DPs. It can't have anything to do with his tier list placement either, right? Considering Enkidu is considered easy.
Nathan Sanders
Something will probably be announced at EVO, no idea what though. It might be time for a new game anyway if they plan to advance the plot/redraw art which have been implied I don't really care if it's DLC or a new release, I just hope the next versions balance is as good as this ones.
There's one character datamined and one character teased in Enkidu and Hilda's arcades. I can't see what else it would be.

Just wanted to make sure cause when I think of command grabs I think of shit like Zangief's SPD, so I was wondering if this game is like Tekken where there are moves not presented in the movelist.
