it still gives me goosebumps. I've read the book before playing this part too.

it's one of the few JRPGs i can go back to and still enjoy. ironically, the genre went to shit during the 32-bit era because that's when they started cranking the cutscenes to 11 and since they were on discs now, there was so much loading for random battles that add up throughout the game. that's probably why they average in the 40-50 hour mark.
