Mid-game skill check boss is better than the final boss
Not hard for something to shine in a pile of shit that is sekiro
I bet you're the guy from the other thread bitching about Isshin.
Demon of Hatred is the only good boss in Sekiro.
Maybe I am what are you gonna do about it hoe
Demon of Hatred was a very good boss but to different to compare, Owl was the best humanoid boss by far
Why are Skyrim boss fights so shit?
>Alduin
>Harkon
>Vyrthur
All absolute shit where you just do one move the wait for them to recharge. Yet the smaller fights are always dynamic and fun
implying any version of owl is better than sword saint
Fuck you Saint Isshin is best boss. Owl Father is close second.
Shit taste, but explain yourselves.
Isshin is better, sorry you have shit taste
t. soulbabby
Owl is mediocre. Not really all that fun to fight.
Fight him again
More one of the worst bosses because it's a BB boss without BB mechanics.
I tried to cheese for a long time by getting him stuck on the door, gave up, and beat him pretty easily afterwards. Isshin has pleb filtered me though
I did. He's annoying because he builds your posture up like crazy, takes a longer time to kill than most bosses, and spams annoying shit like poison and anti healing. He is a boss which favors whittling his health down rather than being aggressive and up front.
I stopped on him. I'll get back eventually, but I don't have any idea how I should fight him.
Tip, his slam is a great opportunity to get some hits in. If you don't mind being unable to heal it might be worth it to hit him when he throws those anti heal bombs.
He does hit your posture like a truck but it should never break... if it does, you aren't using all of your resources. You can pop a yellow candy, persimmon, or hold you guard to restore posture faster. If you're too shit to do that use a firecracker to stop him in his tracks and guard to restore posture.
Even then when he broke my posture that never resulted in a death for me. I beat him by breaking his posture by using prosthetics which you probably didn't use.
Aggressive strats.
I let him posture break me quite often. 80% of the time his followup deathblow js too slow and i can dodge it and get a guaranteed hit in
When he uses the anti heal ball, hit as much as you can but with enough time to jump back from the smoke, he's left wide open and as long as you don't get hit he spams the move.
I struggle with the early minibosses - Chained Ogre and Samurai Killer especially
should I just give up?
Owl (Father) is such a better fight. It sucks you have to fight regular Owl to fight him.
Samurai killer is hard in the place he is in because the camera sucks ass.
Do the first proper boss before bothering with Hirata state.
>he actually mikiri counters your thrusts
How are you intended to fight Guardian Ape? After failing to parry and jump around him, I had to run around like a retard waiting for 1 or 2 attacks I knew had an opening to get 1 hit off. Only got hit twice and it took 35 minutes.
You deflect his bullshit attacks, for the second phase you bait.
Anyone else think SS Isshin was one of the easiest bosses in the game?
I died a lot more to everything in both versions of hirata estate.
First meeting with Juzou in particular must have killed me at least 10 times but I got Isshin on my second try without much trouble.
You guys on NG+ or what?
NG+ no charm+demon bell spear Isshin demolished my asshole like nothing else before him. On NG he's fine.
What BB mechanics?
No he isn't. Isshin is by far the best boss.
try NG+7, hard, no charm.
scrub
Dark Souls did this too
From really likes making the best part of the game the middle
Divine confetti + Ako + Firecrackers. He has a move where he'll try to slam down on you after the 1st firecracker usage. Just run around behind him for 5-7 free hits.
thats what you get for "thrusting" who betrays you
huehiehue
