I dunno if the warez scene has gotten shadier since the days when I pirated games, but I never once got anything from installing or running a pirated game. I only trusted ISOs from specific groups, and instead of using their no cd cracks, I'd get one from Megagames, Gameburnworld, or Gamecopyworld.
