Not sure if it's still the same, but in 3.5 Dex not only conferred bonus armor class, it could also combine with Finesse to replace Strength for attack rolls with a variety of weapons, plus Dex-based skills were far more numerous with Strength only having jump, climb and swim. Characters in low level campaigns would almost always benefit from going dexterity over strength.

Its weird. So This and XY/XYZ are both pretty good with good animation. The problem with sun/moon is that it decided to reduce the amount of fights for more gags and character development. The fights are few and far between but are mostly well animated and great. In XYZ the balance is better. There is good character development and the fights are a bit more numerous and mostly great in quality too (my fav is ash vs clemont in the gym). In Sun and Moon there are way too many characters which splits up the attention (Ash and 5 kids plus the professor are around for most of the time with each arc having an extra character or two floating around.)

But beware, The English dub is fucking horrible as shit and ruin the shows (most of the great music is replaced with shitty background sound/music). If you can deal with watching subbed then go for that instead.

Actually they aren't, officially they are a separate group from sublegendaries, which is a pretty comprehensive label that includes even shitters like Type: Null. They're simply lumped in the code for trade restrictions and battle restrictions, because SM only has a limited number and they are unbreedable, unlike USUM where you can catch an infinite amount. Also you cannot breed Manaphy and make more, only Phione.
At most, they are "functionally" legendaries purely for gameplay purposes due to their catch status and stat totals (odd given Naganadel but eh). All official media considers them to not be legendary in the terming sense though.

UBs are factually not legendaries but I also would like to add to your first bit, as none of them really matter as to what's a legendary apart from the official word of the people who own the designs.
Manaphy cannot make more manaphy, it produces Phione. Not really the same thing.
You may obtain two of Cosmog's general species in each game, so it fits into the multiples thing too, not just evos. One from the parallel world.
Also, in LGPE, the legendary birds are an incredibly rare spawn in the sky, so technically a multiples example as well.
Of course you can also bring in the anime, but that's a separate thing. If you did though, Lugia can breed and produce young Lugia offspring.
Why wouldn't you be able to? The only things banned are box mascot legends and event mythicals.

From my experience in the tree, Phero is just there to deal as much damage as possible before going down and letting the rest of your team clean up. You give her a focus sash since she doesn't really need LO or any damage boosting items.

Regardless, Celesteela is an excellent mon for facility streaks for the medal, she works amazingly simply because of the typing. Only shit like Ferrothorn checks her from what I've experienced and the others counter slowballers like that. Time slowly spent finishing the streak for that stamp is time well spent because it means I never need to touch that garbage ever again after getting my passport stamps for it.

Pheromosa's physical strength is higher than the bear's, but the bear also has heavy physical defenses due to the fur halving damage from attacks that physically touch it (as opposed to energy weapons or the like).
