They've admitted that the first Walking Dead game was the only one that made profit and every licensed game after that was hemorrhaging money with the cost of using said properties far exceeding the very low profits they actually made, but the kept making said games in hopes that they'll have another explosive hit like the first WD.

Only the CEO and suits knew bout this and told nobody else that actually worked there or investors. They got bankrupt and everyone lost their job with zero warning since the devs thought everything was going fine.

They weren't even able to finish the final episode of the final Walking Dead season cause at this point they had negative money to work with.

This would't have happened if they stuck with Sam and Max.

lol in the first one, Max, Strongbad, and Heavy were jobbers, Tycho was only ever the real competition.

They made the AI much better and more balanced in the second one, Claptrap, Brock Samson, Ash, and Sam were all reasonably difficult (at least they were for me, I think Poker Night 2 is difficult)

Max was more aggressive which pissed me off when he went all in. Tycho played safe and made it obvious when he had shit cards. Heavy sorta of existed and Strongbad was garbage.

This, but Tycho and Ash still fit in since it allowed the other batshit characters to deal with a more "normal" character highlighting the absurdity of it all.

Telltale hasn't been interested in S&M for years yet Purcell hasn't shopped the license around. Since he works for Pixar he probably doesn't need the money as much. And there aren't many studios left that would produce a great S&M game.

The flop gave everyone except Matt Damon a pair of tens with a high kicker (an ace for Wilson and Mecs, king for Seidel). As far as those three know, Damon only has a pair of 10s with a high kicker as well. As far as Damon knows, everyone else has at least a pair of 10s. In the case that someone else has a full house by having a pair of sixes, Damon knows he has the better full house.

Despite Damon knowing he has a good hand, it's not a good idea to bet like you have a good hand that early in the deal, especially since there are three other players you can fleece for chips later since they'll obviously be looking for more than just the pair of tens.

The right move is to either check or bet a small amount.

Tycho plays poker like I do, just play to your hand over and over and lull your opponent into a false sense of security, wait patiently for a good hand or bet it all on one big bluff once you've disarmed the table.

i replayed season 1 and 2 2-3 years ago, and while it was a fun nostalgia trip i didn't enjoy it as much as i remembered.

Season 3 Episode 1 feels very "Season 1/ Season2" Sam & Max. Episode 2 and on are much more unique.

Well yeah, Max's psychic powers play a huge role in Season 3 and creative use of his powers are necessary to solve many of the puzzles, but I think the overall feel of Season 3 is a breath of fresh air. It feels so much different than Season 1 and 2. Season 3 Episode 1 was the last heavily "Season 1 / Season 2" style Sam & Max game.
