I like the outfits in X a lot more, the gameplay in this one is pretty good, but most of the custom specials are kinda boring. Story is pretty fun. The character roster is...meh. I´m glad noob is back, but not at the expense of Mileena and Reptile. Wish this game kept every non-guest character from 9 and 10. Tremor and Tania were fun, also I´m one of the probably 5 Striker fans out there that want him back.

Crush counters mixed with a priority system is super retarded. Vtriggers are okay in concept, but in reality it is lock up tools you use to have and turn it into pop to make your opponent guess 5 times for free. Vskills are a pointless mechanics for most of the cast. Your buttons are still crappy, projectiles are still bad for controlling space and rushdown is still heavily favoured by most of the cast.

Not really . I main cammy and i can tell you the hitboxes are a fucking mess that being said MK in general have llittle to no depth when it comes to gameplay this is reflected in their competitive scene i mean is a game that sell a bizillion copies and it didnt even make to top 5 at EVO .

MK11 is a weird game, I think it could turn out good in the end but I get the SFV comparisons.

The shills pushing IT IS NEUTRAL BASED probably did more harm than good. It doesn't play like what most would assume from a neutral focused game, you aren't doing cr.mk, fireball all the time in a tidy little mid screen game. It plays like an MK game which means your best pokes are safe stings that get you in close. But you can't quite go MKX level mixups, but instead you have more scramble situations. Though the top tier kinda do play MKX which leads to a lot of players using them in a very braindead manner.

They achieved this by removing most of your options, making your mixups unsafe and not lead to much.Like SFV they want to force a certain style by taking away and weakening your options to do other stuff. Variations should help this, but most characters have a really crappy set even in customs. I find that a tool either feels so limited that the game really wants me to swap it out for a match up, or it is so multi purpose I don't even need to think about how I use it. Once you find the characters safe string that moves you forward and is their best combo starter that is most of what you do a match. Why experiment when it is all just unsafe mixups? I could be playing Erron who has an easy safe mixup from full screen.

Half the triggers are shit the characters had before just locked by a bar. The other half is characters being shit until they use it then becoming god tier characters for a few seconds so there can be epic comebacks. In both cases its absolutely dogshit and makes the cast feel incomplete.
