Corrupted Monk was so god damn fun to learn how to fight

what's the point? you can instakill backstab her with three ash and two snap seed.

>Is this dude the best Sekiro player for being able to parry the easiest boss to parry?

>easiest
nah that's headless ape

It is fun.

>parry boss
>you lose more posture than the boss

10/10 design

>Everytime you parry and counter is the same damn copy pasted anymations.
It was fancy and cool the first few times but repetitive shit like this gets boring really quick.

Corrupted Monk is where I finally learned how to deflect

The game specifically tells you that if a boss is regening posture faster than you can damage it you need to focus on its vitality first.

Story-wise, how could Sekiro have the prosthetic at this point? Owl even acknowledge it.

I noticed he was on the posture breaking point for a long time, but never got broken. Is it impossible to get posture broken if you're deflecting everything, even if successfully deflecting still adds posture damage?

He's playing on NG+7 with Kuro's charm and the Bell demon active. He's playing with every possible disadvantage to make it as hard as it can possibly be.

Yes, your posture will never get broken as long as you deflect perfectly.

Nah when you actually play the game you don't give a shit

You beat Genichiro without learning how to deflect?

Yes as long as you deflect your posture will not broken

>her
That thing was a "her"?

Not him, but Genichiro broke my shit so hard I went and killed Monk before fighting him again.

Its a memory constructed from events taken from various perspectives.
Thank Buddha

I did technically deflect but I was just spamming L1 like a sperg rather than timing it

Cool but I prefer the fun stuff more

I wish I was a games journalist, seems like an easy job.

It's an ability you buy from Badger, if I recall. Specific enemies will open themselves up to it.
I've heard it can be used on the ghost summoning mini bosses when they float jump in the air away from you to make the fights trivial, but I never tried.

I know where to get it, it's just so situational that it rarely sees use, even when fighting enemies jumping around a lot I never seem to remember it's an ability in the game, and I have all 4 endings by now
