Do you guys ever pretend to be popular streamers and talk to your viewers about game mechanics and such while playing?

no i’m not gay
I never randomly blurt out thought up names and pretend they're giving me money, but I'll occasionally sperg out and talk to myself because I'm probably schizophrenic or just plain crazy because I haven't left my house in 5 years.
This but without the shut-in part.
same here, but 30 years
I'd probably have done that if streamers were a thing then I was 10 or so. However; I do talk as if I were explaining stuff to others often, but that's just because it helps me focus my thoughts, not because I want to be a super cool streamer.
If you're pretending to talk to your audience while playing a game, you might as well start streaming for real. You will of course have 0 viewers in the beginning, so nothing will actually change except you have OBS or equivalent running in the background while playing.
I talk to myself.
sometimes after ive binged a youtube channel ill imagine their voice througout the day. like theyll overright my own inner voice. am i a drone?
I always talk to myself when I'm learning new things because it helps me learn faster. My roommates always thought I was a serial killer or rain man. Meh gotta do what works for you though.
All the time.
When I'm in the shower trying to sober up I'll have pretend speeches in my head to try and get my thoughts in order. If I can make it through a faux speech in my mind without getting into dark water, I'm alright.
>I'd like to that Father Malachi Martin for being on Coast to Coast AM and telling me all the secrets of the Vatican and breaking the priest pedophile thing before most people were talking about it. I'd like to thank the dude who invented Gatorade. I'd especially like to thank that one old lady who gave me five bucks for pumping her gas for her, that gave me enough money to get to Houston. I'd also like to thank St Arnold...not the actual saint, the brewery...
Sometimes I'll just lay down in the shower until the world stops spinning.
>Tfw my friend only got views because everyone who watched him thought he was a mute girl
Still made me laugh when his viewership and subs dropped when he finally got a mic. Dumbass could've raked in tons of money if he didn't do that.
>this guy has made more money in a few years than you'll ever make in your lifetime
What?... Like, anyone that does this is honesty insane right? You don't really do this right op?
I do and it makes me feel good
Ever just stream yourself on twitch masturbating with no viewers and get excited over the chance that somebody might drop in and see you? Then you immediately pretend like you weren't masturbating and they couldn't prove it because only they were there?
To pretend your a twitch streamer? Pretend to be something anyone can do? Something that is objectively killing video games for a ton of zoomers that rather watch a game then play it now? Pretend to do something so cringy that no full grown man would ever want to do without getting money? Screaming your own name and making random noises?
Yeah, it works pretty well for me too. When I'm out on day hikes, I'll sometimes explain how things work as if explaining it to someone else, and it helps me kind of digest what I've been learning and find holes in my knowledge.
That being said, pretending to be a video game streamer is one of the most pathetic things I can imagine, and OP is surely baiting.
No I'm not autistic.
yes i'm autistic
What
If you do this, might as well stream and earn a few bucks on the side
>Something that is objectively killing video games for a ton of zoomers that rather watch a game then play it now?
If you can get the full experience of a game by simply watching it be played, it's not a very good game.
other people do this too? at least I'm not the only autistic freak
/thread
i do. it's helps me concentrate and figure stuff out in my head by talking it out like someone is listening. e.g "this is bullshit. the game spends way too long on these climbing sequences"
That is actually normal user. Don't feed into thinking you have it that shits not good for your brain
I'm just too scared and shy to have actual people respond desu
>and he’s done it whilst playing the shittiest game too
How old are you, OP? I ask mainly because all I've ever seen from Ninja is toxic behavior that would get a normal person banned instantly.
god why are anons who use desu so cute desu
No, but I am autistic
I'm not cute just a coward, I'm like 6'2, broad and have a beard but just have a massive anxiety disorder
still cute~~
Listen here you little mongrel I could crush you with my bare hands
~and I'd like it desu

I pretend when I stream video games.
I finally got a viewer yesterday while I was streaming but shortly after I recognized it as a bot but still talked to it until it left.
What do you stream?
Recently I have been streaming difficulty rom hacks for rpgs like Mario rpg.
I do this for some reason. But I could never actually stream, would make me way too nervous
Sounds interesting actually. When do you usually stream?
Sometimes I imagine comments or critiques I might make if I were recording a let's play or a review.
>Tfw my friend only got views because everyone who watched him thought he was a mute girl
Did he actually do anything that might have made people think that (pic of a woman as his profile pic, feminine username, etc.) or did people just make that assumption for no reason?
yes
I do it because I'm lonely and want people to like me, but I don't actually stream because I'm afraid people won't like me because I'm not at all charismatic
Im just happy these retards stay here and i wont have to interact with them ever.
>lay down in the shower
Fucking gross, man
