Spy vs Mercs: Siege, Ironside voices the announcer

>Hopes
not shit
>Expectations
shit

They took this long because they had to figure out how to make Splinter Cell an open world game full of generic side activities, grinding and microtransactions.

Is that a sekiro reference?

That's too easy for Ubisoft though, they're figuring out how to shove the IP into a games-as-a-service format, where the real money's at

>Hopes
Chaos Theory 2

Modern Assassins's creed

>hopes
ironside, goes back to a stealth game
>expectations
no ironside, stays action game, no sam at all

I hope it's more Conviction. One of the best co-op experience I've ever had with friends.

Reminder that Splinter Cell 7 will be set in a post-nuclear wasteland in the Far Cry universe

Ironside is already confirmed back.

>Hopes
Conviction 2

Chaos Theory 2

No it won’t.

why not

Because that would be retarded

>30 fps on console

lucky I own all platforms

>Hope
Upgraded version of ct
>Expectation
A slightly better version of blacklist

Because it wouldn’t work, and like said it’s plain stupid. All it does is vastly limit the options for a setting and narrative, it doesn’t enhance it. All references to other franchises are just that, references and easter eggs. Nothing to be taken seriously.

Which is exactly why it's going to happen

Attached: 1555691180763.png (1064x930, 764K)

I would love wildlands 2 with more varied missions and deeper customization

Why are they pushing for this "Ubisoft universe" shit?

Attached: 1523295753650.jpg (512x548, 21K)

I would love for you to suck my balls

It's just easter eggs. There's no continuity between them.

>Hopes
Chaos theory 2

Blacklist 2 but Sam fails to stop the (empty quiver from wildlands) nuke which results in the ending of Far Cry 5. Oh and it will also be shit.

Ha gay!

Wildlands was fucking awful

They aren't but they've always had references between IPs. There's logos and shit in For Honor, cameos in Wildlands, logs and costumes in Wildlands and Assassin's Creed, skins in Siege - it's not apart of any fucking canon though. Literally

It's gonna be shit

You have to go back.

I would also love wildlands 2.
Expcept they completely revamp the
Driving
Sneaking
Enemy a.i
Animations
Mission variety
Travel option variety
Items
Almost like they should just make a new game. Only positive thing about wildlands was the jungle enviornment during a thunderstorm

Eh, I enjoyed it. A good turn your brain off and listen to stuff in the background game, also the customization was excellent.

I'm not gonna lie. The last mission of Blacklist caught me off guard with the switcheroo

>Animations
The "climbing over a fence" animation is pretty good.

Blacklist was a pretty alright game all around. It sure as hell wasn't a knockout like Chaos Theory but it was passable
>inb4 no Ironside

I love the only 1 stealth kill animation that completely reveals you and no way to hide the body

Wildlands 2 but with actual good and realistic gameplay, not a glorified GTA mod

What switcheroo? I don't remember the game much

So Arma 3

Much better than the trash that is Conviction.

Raven Shield 2

You were the black guy the entire time
Even though everyone saw it from a mile away

I highly doubt it's Splinter Cell. Yes, Ubi are making Splinter Cell. But scuttlebutt says it won't appear until next year. This is likely a new Rainbow 6 or a new Wildlands. I would like a new singleplayer Rainbow 6 that even passingly resembles an actual R6 game. Fuck Vegas and its console audience, BTW. No harm meant, I'm sure heaps of you guys are cool, but your ADD brains ruined the series.

When you start the last mission you're masked and you get caught and turns out you're the nigger and Sam is sneaking around, nothing special but surprising nonetheless

Wait what

>Hopes
Chaos Theory 2
>Expectations
Assassins Creed Odyssey

Honestly would love Wildlands if I didn't have to work with the computer AI

>All it does is vastly limit the options for a setting and narrative
It gives the game a very specific narrative. Sam Fisher failing to stop the worst disaster in recent human history, and becoming pure kino as he searches for his daughter in an America torn apart by nuclear war.

Literally Fallout 4

New dawn makes it clear there is no stable government anywhere. It's mad max world. How does geo political super cop Sam fisher fit in that world

There already was a Chaos Theory 2, and it was pretty good. It's called Splinter Cell Double Agent for the original xbox.

It doesn't, that's why it's shit

I know that but I want that guy to explain

hmm. not on that scale of complexity

That's kind of the point. Sam Fisher is an old man. He has no place in the world anymore. But he's goddamn Sam Fisher. I mean, regardless of whether the GR: Wildlands and Far Cry ND "Sam Fisher is heading to South America" plotline is setting up the next SC or not, if they're bringing back Ironside, they're leaning super hard into the fact he's an old man. He'll have to be tactical because everyone else is faster, stronger, etc. Yes, there will be crafting. So. Much. Crafting.

Also all the Tom Clancy games are supposed to take place in the same universe.

There's several mods that simplify it down to ubishit levels

correct, but Division takes place in an adjacent timeline where shit got fucked

How does a sneaking game with technology like sticky cams and Infared/emf work in a world with no fancy gizmos or electricity. Your idea is shit go kill yourself

The Splinter Cell easter eggs are strange because the easter egg in Wildlands and the easter egg in Far Cry appear to be directly connected to each other. It's not just random Sam Fisher stuff.

As much as I want a new Splinter Cell I don't see it working in 2019. The average gamer wouldn't be able to tolerate a straight up hardcore stealth game without constant hand holding.

You're in, gobby.

You are what's wrong with the industry desu

Blacklist was only 5 years ago. Things haven't changed much

In deep trouble

>they're leaning super hard into the fact he's an old man.
They've done that since the very first fucking game. He was over 50 when he joined third echelon. Grim calling him an old fart is a running joke in the series.

can't wait for future soldier 2

They already did it with the Tom Clancy games themselves, now that Clancy can't stand in their way they can shove every IP into a greater continuity.

I guess what I meant was a "Classic" Splinter Cell game i.e. (SC,PT,CT). I know its a pipe dream but I hope they go back to their roots for the next game, Blacklist was too action heavy/casualized imo.

Lasers? Lasers are so...
>90's?
I was going to say 70s, can you stop making me feel old

Or maybe it actually makes use of its open world this time and gives us a fucking mission editor

I've got news for you, Sam. You are old.

During the last mission you didn't play as Sam. Sam was doing his own sneaking mission you were unaware of and basically was disguised as one of the villians henchmen so he could get close.

Can't fucking wait

Attached: 1547842818078.png (720x1080, 1.48M)

why why cna't have both?
Spliter Cell Chaos Theory: Blacklist 2.

Both are SUPERB stealth-action games.

would be weird if they're announcing something this soon before E3 though

>E3
why?

E3 is fucking irrelevant shit.
Wake up, boomer. We have internet now,

>Splinter Cell 7 Reveal May 9th

No it's not, it's a Wildlands 2 reveal.

Ubisoft has started pre-production and shitcanned 4 different Splinter Cell games in the last 5 years, it's not happening as Wildlands is literally everything Splinter Cell was evolving into anyway.

t.exubisoftdev

Might be just "yeah we're making it, see you at E3"
This. Surprise announcements just don't have the same effect now either

>as Wildlands is literally everything Splinter Cell was evolving into anyway.
All they need to do really is copy Ground Zeroes. Not TPP, Ground Zeroes. It's pretty much a SC game.
