I miss it bro....
I miss it bro

uh...it's still getting updated and people are still using it though
literally died after a few months but it was cool at the time
More like pokemon go to the polls
it's still pretty present in tokyo at least. ikebukuro has a lot of crowds chasing the events
*muffled guitar riff*
It's still active, bro. I see people playing it all the time. I even got approached by a dude who thought I was playing it and wanted to take a gym or something.
But it has almost half the playerbase as it did at launch?
Which is fucking incredible for a several years old mobile game, which is like 2 decades in mobile game time.
I don't miss it at all. I can't believe Nintendo let some literal who make their Pokemon mobile game. I'm far from a master programmer but I could have made a better game.
>actual random encounters
>trading
>real PvP
>still no best gen V
Soon bros...the game will be saved
PvP and Trading are in the game though.
I remember hanging out with friends and driving around to parks and shit right when it came out, there were so many people out it was insane
That was a fun ass night, fuck I miss having friends
hey Yea Forums
rate my top 5 electric 'mons
barebones trading and pathetic "ai PvP"

I finally had a weekend off where I remembered to do the Community Day (recent one with Bagon) and there were dozens of people out of every variety.
It was really fun and comfy and I caught five shinies. Some of the local businesses were even using it to advertise themselves and having discounts, it was amazing. Can’t wait for this month’s.
Isnt the only PvP gym battles? Where after you take control, you don't even fight back?
They have actual pvp now
Galileo Galileo Figaro magnifico/10
I restarted this year and found that it's still pretty active. I live in a good area with lots of pokestops without having to drive around. Having a town discord helps organize raids too.
No, there is an actual 1v1 PvP mode now. It's not very deep or interesting, but it's there. Trading is more interesting.
What's the best way to power up legendaries? Just rare candy?
Community days are pretty cool. There are so many people where I live playing then. I even get old codgers asking me if I have caught any shinies yet or telling me where high CP ones are. People eating in restaurants after while trading and bragging about their shiny count. It is pretty comfy.
Game is very live now. Constant events. For example recent one with ground pokemon and shiny diglet. Random af but fun. 15 may is going to be community day with Shiny Torchic. Good moment to get back. Also there is a "Lucky" system that makes upgrading pokemans cheaper. If you played game In 2016 you can trade 2016 Pokémon for guaranteed Lucky Pokémon.
It was really cool the first 2-3 weeks. Then they never fixed it and half the users left. Now I see old woman playing it. I'm sure its still popular because pokefags but it's dead to normal people
>It's not very deep or interesting, but it's there.
Honestly, with the game only having 1 quick attack and 2 charged attacks per pokemon, they did a pretty fucking good job. I hate to say it but it's kinda fun.
>Trading is more interesting.
Disagree since it has restrictions UP THE FUCKING ASS
And the most Important thing. They kinda fixed the spawns... So you won't be seeing pidgeys and ratata 99%of time. (now it's only 30%)
Also don't bother if you live in rural area. Rural players never been as fucked as now
Then play it
even in my rural area the gym always gets turned around
my only gripe is that for supposedly updating to Sinnoh, I only see Hoenn shitmons.
I still play this, but mostly because it takes me 90 minutes to get to work each day.
The first month or so was bonkers, with parks and some streets here completely flooded with people. At about the sixth month mark, only the hardcores were still playing, and NIantic began removing so many good features and shutting down all the online maps, which then killed off any chance for new players to get anywhere.
I dunno, worked fine for me. Though I gues ymmv because I have commute and go to the city during weekends.
t. guy who only started Go because of Sinnoh
So play it. The userbase has organized enough that your area probably has a community chatroom with bots to help organize raids.
if you EVER played this or any other fucking mobileshit you're a normalfag beyond reproach and don't deserve to post here.
everybody loves Gulpin, right?
The game is very alive. I think they had record number of players in summer 2018? So summer 2019 is probably going to be even bigger.
Niantic is doing a good job keeping it alive, but being Niantic they also keep fucking up all the small things. It's annoying, but still playable.
Tfw I approached someone thinking he wanted to raid but I already finished and was asking if he was doing it too
I wish this game had a cooler model. The constantly catching the same pokemon to level up one copy of them just feels silly, and it's grindy as fuck anyway.
that's literally what phone games are
Well, at least you can go to Chris Chan's house now for it is a gym.
was it fun
>literally died after a few months
It was only good for ONE month, then the first update killed everything.
