King Orion is reborn every Spring in a new host body, who grows into a towering bestial Mel Gibson who has the collective memories of every previous incarnation of the king.

One Elf race literally have an entire ethnostate forest where they are complete isolationists who murder anything who walks into their territory. They partake in murder regicide where they kill a king once a year who willingly walks himself into a pyre and resurrects, command a forest of maneating spites/dryads, and occasionally partake in clan wars between High Realms/noble houses. The forest is almost akin to a realm of Chaos since it can bend space and time, even flunging people out of forests by altering their realities that only leads them to their death/exit.
Another race of Elves has an entire economy based on slave labor who have no qualm using human skin as a leather commodity, and command literal floating cities suspended on water that functions like military carrier ships crewed by armies of sorceresses who keep its running and can launch magic bombardments from miles off shore like nuclear missiles. Their leader, Malekith, has an entire council room fashioned out of Dreadlords (Dark Elf lords) either as bone chairs of those who has served him well in life, or left as corpses rotting on the side of the room.
Another race of Elves are walking Adonises/Helens who hold all the magical capabilities of the winds of power and once ruled an empire that spanned the entire globe where their ruins can be found as far as Cathay. They have a queen who is an embodiment of a goddess that has a life cycle of resurrecting herself where she comes back just so she can fuck the resurrected version of their king who is the embodiment of one of their gods.
Each Elven race are the way they are because they are corrupted by the winds of Chaos during a Chaos incursion millenniums ago that has splintered their kind and heightened particular traits that they can't help but follow by whim. Dark Elves with Malice, High Elves with Hubris, and Wood Elves with Isolationism/barring off the world. They are also being hunted by a Chaos god who eats their souls like candy.
