Story and sidestory hasn't improved.
Frequency of new story in general is extremely slow and its not much.
The orb drops were lower starting from March.
The February 2nd Anniversary disaster, no apologies.
There were at least 3 caution/warnings over errors in the bulletin board in April, no apology orbs ever issued.
Did I mention the 2nd anniversary cursed Legendary Lyn disaster?

This . Plus keep in mind tickets only work on the first roll. So you have to spend orbs if you want to roll anything else in the session. Even if you have more tickets on hand. It's a scummy tactic and the worst use of "tickets" I've ever seen in gacha.

We also don't get orb gifts for new modes like we used to.
New modes don't even give orbs now.
They don't give apology orbs (or apology anything) anymore for when they fuck up and glitch something. Even when the bulletin board has three (3) pinned glitch notices at the top because they can't go two days without fucking something up. The last few I actually read didn't even offer a standard "sorry for the inconvenience". Just "we fucked up, please keep playing the game and giving us money".

One of them was actually an app crash related to thew Aether R&R place. Sounds problematic for the end user, better not issue apology orbs!

Depends on the gamemode. Arena is just scorebot based where you have the bonus unit and the other 3 just support them as much as possible. In Aether Raids you are either using galeforce strategies or, like Arena, investing fully into one unit to tank the entire enemy team.
Its hard to describe what the least meta team is, probably cheese strategies using Gharnef or Fallen Takumi, enemy phase cavalries without vantage, and a complete lack of dancers.

Legit meme. They have so many counters at this point that are braindead to use like Micaiah, Hana, or Est and in Arena they aren't good support units at all. Caineghis is becoming the only good one solely because he can null armor effectiveness and still retain distant counter with good bulk.
