So are all my hopes and dreams I once had

Fuck EA for the shitshow that is PvZ2
like, fuck, the devs still have that fire, that creativity in them. the plants are creative and fun as fuck, but EA jewery just ruined them so hard

Another good franchise EA completely destroyed.
At least Garden Warfare 1 was pretty fun, I guess.

At least Garden Warfare was fun, r-right?

i got my moneys worth out of the first game

What about 2?

i really, really enjoyed the first game but never finished it.

Why hasn't anyone modded PvZ and added the good plants and zombies from the new game into it?

Haven't played it, doesn't really look too good either.

It was alright. It was not worth 60 dollars at launch though.

It went really heavy with the Chinese flair but otherwise has a lot more to offer just by being able to play zombies in PvE modes

I don't think I've seen a single mod for it so it's probably not very moddable, it would be easy to just clone it though.

>he didn't get it for free when EA gave it away on christmas

sucks to be you

So how tall is your tree?

>Implying I didn't get it for free some other way
They gave it away for free on the 360's games with gold shit at one point. I'm pretty sure.

What happened to that pvz Hearthstone clone?
And if you guys want a weird, inhibited pvz2 experience, check out the china-exclusive pvz2 (with a bunch of exploits and hacks to bypass the moneygate, ofc)
Its suprisingly hilarious

>mfw I'm the only person in the fucking universe that was hyped about peggle 2
>people would rather meme about the reveal
>nobody even cared or remembered when the actual game came out and it was one of the worst crimes of niggardry EA ever committed

The old days of Popcap was glorious
>insanaquarium
>that pirate game
>peggle
>all those weird semi-puzzle games
>they even put in an easy-to-bypass paywall (just, boot up your task manager and delete that shit) and later on said that was on purpose, since people tend to bought their games to support them anyway

I stopped playing it because they stopped adding new content to it. I played Heroes fucking religiously too. Now I can barely even remember the rules anymore.

Also Bejeveled, 3 was a god tier timekiller
Hell to be quite honest I have very fond memories of many so called "casual games", I must have played hundreds of them as a kid thanks to various keygens. Also add Zuma/Luxor type games and especially hidden object games like MCF, I liked those the most

I want to go back...

I miss the early days of mobile games because, even though most games were still shit back then, at least they werent riddled with ads and gacha bullshit. Once companies realized they could put everything behind a pay wall and cater to whales or forcing people to deal with relentless ads that's when all the games REALLY became even bigger pieces of shit. I mean God damn. If I download like a some basic app like a flashlight or something, it's still RIDDLED with ads. Its absurd now. I stay away from the Google play store unless its fot legit apps like drastic or poweramp.

I never, absolutely fucking never on my entire life have played that game because it looks like a shitty game.

Yeah, they were shitty, but they were like a dollar a pop, with no additional money grabbing scheme
those shitty Assassin creed, ball rolling and sniper games were my guilty pleasure
