You might need to level ip your employee's skill levwls to msnage the work or unlock the manage tips on the abnormals to find out the trick. The game is not meant to be completed on first try blind. You can pick memory respitory to go back the latest 5 day cycle starting day or pick First Day in the menu. You get to keep all the research and equipments that way making rerun easier and getting chance to get new abnormalities

For my fighters, I max out SP first. An insane worker with good weapon/armor is worse than a dead one.
For my general workers, I try to get them rounded out and focus on HP/work success if I can, so they can survive ordeals and do work better.
Then, everyone maxes out Justice on Shy look and when they get to 3 Justice, I grind the rest on Butterfly funeral because fuck using LOB for justice. Bam, V level employees in a few days.

This fucker has been causing me no end of grief. It always breaches unless I kill off every goddamn clerk myself, and when it does, it leads to even more things breaching. I thought I could power through it, but I'm tempted to go back to day 1 just to be rid of this fucker.
You manage a not-SCP facility. Each day you get new not-SCP. You need to do research on them to learn their behavior and adjust your work on them accordingly. Your workers level up depending what they do and sometimes you might get not-SCPs that are out of your league. You can start from day 1 or go back a set of days and retain all your research and ewuipments you've got from the not-SCPs.
SCP management where every entity has unique things you need to do so they don't fucking kill everything, and you juggle multiple entities at any given time while doing research and wait for the inevitable shitstorm once something breaks out and all hell breaks lose.
There's some RNG, but mostly to keep it interesting.

You unlocked the first boss fight, that's what happened.
You'll probably be able to complete it without realising, but just based off speculation I think XP gain is based a combination of PE Boxes and Risk Level rather than results (working with CENSORED despite it always giving med results probably gives you better EXP than working with One Sin), and promotions might be based on total stat points (you can max out tenp, fort and prud but not justice and be Level 5 off of memory)

I think I have to start over. Every abnormality is below WAW except for Red Hood and the Diffraction Space whatever, but I need to complete the mission of suppressing 5 WAWs. Gear isn't good enough because of this and it's super easy to die to Red Hood because when she does her moving dual pistol shot it goes through everyone for a lot of damage so I can't be sure people are going to live. I also need to complete Dusk ordeal at the same time. I've tried this stuff a bunch but I just cannot complete these because SOMETHING always happens, usually a fuck up on my part, that quickly leads to a lot of casualties.

If you're not enjoying the atmosphere and narrative of the game then you may as well stop playing. It gets incredibly difficult at the end, but the game is about the spooky stories the monsters have and the characters and plot. The management stuff isn't its strength.

You know what's fucked up is that every abnormality can probably be permanently killed / destroyed but they're too valuable to lose so it's like a undiscussed rule that abnormalities are infinitely worth more then the lives of the workers. What's more is that theres probably a fair number of more intelligent abnormalities that are aware of that.

Is is it generally a better idea to look at the success rate on the monster info page or on the task assignment window? A lot of the time a task will still be rated as 'High' even though stat-wise it would be common according to the monster page (for example Insight work on Scorched Girl)
