alita was pretty shit desu. Great world building (thanks to the mango) but those dialogues holy shit. Literally written by a 3 years old who doesn't know how people fucking speak. They lost me at Hugo going "outstanding" at the start.

Infinity war only has around 55,000

and less people saw that movie so less reviewed it

Seriously though, Alita was only slightly better than the GiTS 2017 live action movie, and that movie was fucking awful.
The west needs to stop trying to adapt anime/manga, the only non-Japs who can adapt anime/manga to live action are Koreans, as we've seen with the original Oldboy (and confirmed with its awful 2013 remake).

Whenever I see a movie that relies heavily on CGI I keep thinking that the technology just isn't quite there yet. I felt that way when I saw Alita, I felt that way when I saw Aquaman, I felt that way when I saw Avengers Endgame just yesterday. It looks good, sure, but it doesn't look real.
