The Devil Bringer makes the game a lot easier. I like it but it has to have some limitations.

I honestly didn't like the silly parts with Dante in the 4th game.
I felt some of the devil arms were too much for me and a few boss battles could have been done better than this too.
But I love the rest of the shit so damn much though.

It could be possible the main reason why Nero couldn't fully transform at that time was because he never truly embraced his demon side, or cared enough with exploring his demon heritage. Or it could have very well been the Yamato Splitting his power from himself temporarily, because thats what Yamato does.
