It takes more time, but I wouldn't say it's harder. There's half a dozen animals you can farm for it, and you can also fish for it as a junk item.
You also need iron constantly, whereas with leather once you've made enough books you basically don't need it for anything essential anymore.

I like to build small grottoes in the side of hills, holes, and mountains, while exploring around my temporary home and gathering resources; only to eventually leave to explore somewhere else. It's also a nice feeling to happen upon one of my burrows randomly when I venture too far into the unknown, only to loop back into my past ventures.
Sometimes, when I find a really nice area, I'll build a small castle there that functions as a place to rest after long travels. I will also create small monuments atop any mountains I deem large enough.

I like building on the sides of mountains and eventually hollowing the whole thing out into a giant base, I always keep some type of open cavity as a central area and try to make it feel natural with trees and water and vines and stuff, it's the comfiest thing. Personally I've always enjoyed going out and exploring and then going back home, building little structures here and there to make my mark, sometimes I go the extra mile and connect them through tunnels. It's a lot of effort, but it's fun

go into caves with a stack of wooden planks because that's always handy if you're down too long and need more torches or new tools

this, but I worked with wood and metal blades, you can use a metal blade on wood but because it's meant for a stronger material and thus has smaller teeth, you'll go very slowly. I tried a metal saw on a stone as I wanted to make a granite or Quartz cube (just pick up river rocks, the grime layer hides some beauty) but the metal saw couldn't do shit on the stones. How come? isn't metal harder than stone? I mean REAL metals too, like Steel, not cuckiminium.

Starcitizen is a clusterfuck because of the deterministic server-side development route they're going for much like an mmo or RTS. None of the game really happens on your computer, its all being sent and puppeted. The engine was designed from the ground up for P2P shooters like call of duty.

The Bedrock Edition is available on PC as well, though it lacks a few features and some blocks/entities from the Java version. Because of course it does. You also couldn't buy it standalone, last I check, instead you have to pay for a bundle that include some marketplace coins and texture packs. It obviously doesn't support modding either

That's not how threading works user. You can only do one job at one time on one core and unity is fully capable of threading logic and anything else to as many cores as you have but you can't split jobs to multiple cores unless the jobs have very easily split parts to them. There are precisely zero game engines that do this any differently because if you thread a task and one part completes faster the whole loop either falls out of sync or stops completely until the core completes the task. This can manifest in crashing, stutter, or the game failing to build in the first place. "Just add more cores bro" doesn't work and never has.
