IMO final fantasy is the best pve/random content game though classic wasn't bad there either (but it's already been done so not as fun and refreshing as the new bosses and their themes you get in xiv). Arguably housing but idk what ESO provides there. I do like that ESO provides a decent amount of freedom/options even in pvp even if things can be OP.

Tried to get into ESO but it's stylistically ugly. Washed out and all the armors look bland. I now appreciate what the XIV devs meant about it taking extra work to refit armors, because ESO didn't really put that work. They made the bodytypes very uniform from the start and a lot of armors look pasted on like skin.

ff14 is a game that literally tells you ITSELF to subscribe for a month, play the content, then wait for the next update.
ESO is a generic, boring piece of shit with terrible combat, and okay-ish story if you like elder scrolls. It takes a fat shit on existing lore though.

It all depends on the situation. You can take out healers, DPS or Tanks depending on how good or bad you or your enemy is. There are advantages to targeting each role:

Targeting Tanks allows you to cut off their shield which will make burning through them a lot easier, but tanks are very hard to kill if properly healed and positioned.
Targeting Healers allows you to cut off their regeneration ability and burn through them all or at least cause a route, but healers can be nearly invincible if they're healing each other.
Targeting DPS since they are soft and not a healer priority helps you dwindle the overall attack power so that the enemy becomes less of a threat. As more DPS fall, you can subsequently focus your attacks on the tanks/healers who have become out numbered.

Generally, you'll wanna target multiple people so that the healers are given multiple players to heal and generally keep them off balance.

But the main thing is to figure out how good your team is versus the other teams. Sometimes you get good tanks and good healers. This allows you to stay in fights longer and win through attrition. Sometimes you get shit healers but good DPS. This allows you to strike hard and fast but retreat often.

Experience is your best guide to figuring out how best to focus your attacks. Cause sometimes your team's DPS is just pure garbage and you'll never kill a thing. Best to just focus on avoiding fighting then and going after the objective.

This shit is Xenoblade 2 levels of nothing personnel.

There are just way too many mechanics that require entire party coordination instead of individual skill level. It pretty much forces people to raid with friends or a tight knit group that can stick together for more than one wipe.

The only good out of Roe's are their female counterparts, since them and the Highlander females are the only really different flavour of female that we have.
