What makes Deadlocked more of a shooter than 2 and 3? 1 I can kinda understand but it seems silly to lump them in different areas. Deadlocked had more arena fighting and the stupid rail shooting segments but I dont think that justifies calling it the only shooter of the group.

I think they just lumped the first 3 together as a single genre. I agree the second and third are much less platformer than the first game. Deadlocked is clearly an arena shooter though.
