>dummy product
made for you OP

My laptop is better

THE SPECS user

yea it's good OP buy it

It's fine.

>Pre-built
>""""""clearance price""""""

You could do better building one yourself. You'd get more satisfaction from it as well, plus you'd get a decent understanding of how it works or what you'd need to do to fix/upgrade it.

Nope.Build one yourself with a 2060 gpu

>dummy product

Attached: 1539705173714.png (308x224, 11K)

Yeah i know but im fucking retarded. Unfortunately I’m not good at putting it together and I don’t want to miss any parts or they won’t go together

>1060 3GB

no

build your fucking own you retard

Those specs are shit. You can make a far better one for like $1200

that's way too much for those specs

>Buying from PC World

>you can make a better one for more money

No shit.

It's hot garbage

>Tons of videos on youtube on how to build a pc with step by step tutorial
You don't have any excuses unless you have mild autism.

There's a PC buildung general on /g/
Just go there, give your budget and ask them for help.
Then plug that shit into the PC specialist site, take a screenshot of the specs and ask for confirmation

user it's not that motherfucking hard

Just watch a bunch of videos on youtube. But only one a day. Use pcpartpicker and logicalincrements to see which parts wont bottleneck each other. You can skip a SSD until later. Spent at least $800 (USD) on the build and for the GPU get least a GTX1660 or better.

My current PC is legitimately this exact parts list only with an i5-9600k instead. It didn't cost me anywhere near $1,100.

I understand the concern over building your own PC, but you're being grossly overcharged for barebones versions of those parts that most likely won't have the life expectancy as their individually-bought counterparts.

Just look up guides, watch them repeatedly, and then give it a shot. Unless you throw your processor at the wall or try to cram parts in random slots without paying even the slightest amount of attention, the whole process is damn near fool-proof.

>1060 3gb
No

It's not as hard as it looks, trust me. I've been building pcs since I was 11 or so.
A great place to start is pcpartpicker.com, it lets you pick every part you need, will tell you the total price, and tells you if any parts are incompatible with eachother

This
Even a retard can put a pc together. You literally just plug shit in and you're good to go. Use pcpartpicker, ask for input and critiques. Don't cry when /g/ calls you a fucking retard for putting that motherboard with that cpu. They are mean to everyone.

>pre-built

Stick with consoles, you're clearly too retarded to own a PC

PCspecialist builds aren't bad user. They even let you pick out a PSU too so at worse, you'll have to deal with shitty cable management
Though also if a part is fucked, you'll return the entire PC which is annoying

Of course, buying it in PCworld is like well, one of the most stupid things possible since there's usually at least a 40% markup

i recently built a pc for about 650 burger dollars and i'm happy. had my cousin slapped it together for me. but you're gonna need a monitor if you already don't

Do it
I fucking love it when brainless retards buy thrash like this and then cry about it running like shit

Attached: 1456591396607.png (968x617, 74K)

My point was that anyone considering buying a pre-built is retarded. I don't care how good the build is, it's overpriced as fuck.

no, it's beyond terrible and a scam.

my sister could build a better system for about half the price, in fact she had done so.

Nope, not at all. PCspecialist generally charge like... an extra 40-50 quid ontop of buying the parts of off Amazon

>tfw spent 1400 dollars on pc parts
>just put it together yourself, user it's super easy
>spend 7 hours following the tutorials step by step
>cut it on.. nothing
>start school and don't have to time to play Vidya let alone spend time fucking with the parts
Honestly dude, if you're not confident enough just buy prebuilt. But get a warranty because if something breaks or other unforseen consequences happen you are fucked

1000 pounds is about 1200 dollars retard

>3gb 1060
ew
and no telling what else they skimped on like motherboard, PSU.

stupid zoomer

Pre-made PC's never have the fucking courtesy to use the 6GB version of the 1060. Every single time its the 3GB. I swear Nvidia made the 3GB version just for these cheap fuckers to trick poor people.

>3gb

Holy shit HELL NO. this is about as trash as you can get it. This is way too expensive for such shit hardware.

If you’re going prebuilt, make sure your power supply unit (psu) is at least 600watt, prebuilt usually skim on those.

>1060 3GB
>120gb SSD
>£999

Attached: 1542630375599.jpg (900x900, 55K)

not really.

half the prebuilt are priced at what you would pay buying single parts from amazon + 50-100 $/€ and you save yourself the headache of building it and the risk of messing up some compatability you didn't know about, and possibly you get more customer support/easier warranty.

it's just that the other half are beyond terrible and most people who buy pre-built don't know how to tell the difference.

>Best Buy
>GeekSquad
deserves everything he got

Which is 40-50 more than any person with a decent IQ should spend on a PC. It's not that fucking hard people. It's literally like putting legos together. If you can't do that, then you should stay on consoles.

just buy a console you dumb and lazy first worlder

Here OP you could buy this instead for a pre-built for a similar price

Attached: Capture.jpg (1106x615, 66K)

>prebuilt
>1060 3GB
>the low low “clearance” price of £999
You’re better off buying the parts and have some nerd build it for you.

can easily make a better one for 700 max.
that ssd is $20, the gpu is like 180, mobo probably 50, ram 100, a better case is 40, idk what that shit cpu is worth because fuck intel, get a 6 core ryzen for 160.

there. better and cheaper.

Back in 2011 the top cards were Nvidia's 500 series. This guy got fucked so hard LMFAO. $2100 for a $400 PC. That sounds like a GeekSquad special to me!

Attached: geek-agents-1.jpg (690x486, 51K)

And yet you can still save so much more by shopping smart. Hell I'll bet you could shave off at least $200 by buying parts from multiple stores like NewEgg, Microcenter, local computer shops, etc

Can't believe i share a board with retards like you

yeah, get this one. it comes with microsoft edge internet browser.

nyet

You sound cheerful

You don't even have to fucking pick parts, you get a build from some site that has one for each price point and it will be more or less fine
Putting it together, If you're male you should be easily able to handle it just following a guide, if you're not male you can easily make a male do it for you. If you still can't, then what are you doing getting a pc, using windows will be too hard for you

Is that bizarro Seinfeld?

Alright listen up bud, the only real benefit to a prebuilt tower is that they usually come with a warranty. So unless you expect a total system failure within a year, building your own is the better choice. All you need to do is ensure that everything is compatible, order in the parts and tower of your choice and then assemble the tower. If you aren't familiar with tech, don't worry because even a trained monkey could do it. Not even joking, most of the process is just slotting parts into the motherboard. If for some reason that still sounds to hard, then go to a local tech shop. A lot of them will let you pick out the parts and then assemble it all for you.

There's no reason not to have at least a terabyte of SSD in this day and age. It's only $200. Or if you really want you could probably find two 500 GB for about $150.

GO TO IBUYPOWER. PART PICKED PCs THAT ARE HAND ASSEMBLED BY PEOPLE OTHER THAN YOU ARE LITERALLY

LITERALLY

CHEAPER THAN ONES YOU BUILD YOURSELF. Because these psuedo prebuilts from ibuypower are done with mass purchased parts. Seriously, they even give you a real OS and a warranty and shit, its actually fucking great. As someone who has built about 7 computers, all parrt picked personally, ibuypower and ironside and cyberpower are all fucking miracles.

don't forget code word: "afriend"

What if your time is worth more than that 40-50 quid? Not everyone is a worthless human being like you

Pre built literally never ever

>1060 3gb
fuck no

You can't change the mind of people like op, at best you're gonna get a reply like "Then how about this one" with another prebuild.
If a person is frugal with money and/or buy wisely, the first thing they'll do is do some reading instead of going to a store and browsing something they have no idea about. If they're not, they post a thread like this and there's nothing you can do at that point.

Attached: 1395483444065.png (399x800, 393K)

Stick to consoles, OP.

Attached: 1541210818817.gif (360x238, 1.43M)

What if your time was worth 250-300 quid? Here's a challenge for you. Take OP's PC, take the same specs, do the damn research and find the same parts from various sites and stores. Don't forget to check out prices from local stores, not just online, to save extra money on shipping. I guarantee the costs will be significantly less than what the pre-built is sold for. I understand laziness, but what's worth more to you? 200-300 quid? Or a couple hours of your time researching for parts and actually building the damn thing yourself.

There are more benefits for building your own outside of cost. Since you built it, you know exactly where everything is, how it hooks in, cable management, etc. This makes it incredibly easy to upgrade parts, as well as basic maintenance such as cleaning and dusting. Trust me, I'm coming from a place of experience. My first rig was a pre-built. Years after light upgrades and changes, I bit the bullet and decided to build a new rig. Ever since then I've regretted buying a pre-built as my first rig.

Stop being lazy. Save your money and learn something that will benefit you.

I've been thinking of getting another SSD for storage of my games. What's a good brand?

thanks to IBUYPOWER I have to fastest computer on my block! which gives me the edge when it really matters, like playing PLAYER UNKNOWN BATTLEGROUNDS, or racing to the ball in ROCKET LEAGUE
with the discount code afriend I saved so much money, I had to tell everyone I knew!

Samsung
WD
Sandisk
Crucial
HP

this, i'm just as pc illiterate as fag op but i went through with it

It's really not thard hard, just get a friend over who's done this shit a couple of times and it will be easy as pie.
Hell, I even had to telephone-coach a mate into building his first PC since he was scared shitless. Worked out perfectly well, outside the fact that I fogot about attaching front panel power, lel.

If you got cash to burn then buy a really nice one off ibuypower. Get the express build though so you dont gotta wait 2-3 weeks.

You can pick the parts and they assemble it and ship it to you.

Attached: 1556660231556.jpg (640x621, 38K)

And did you find out what was wrong? I bet it was the RAM, I was able to boot my first PC because one RAM stick was in, but I caught I had only half the RAM I put it. Next day I quickly reseated the RAM and BOOM, everything was good.
A friend also built a new PC for his first time, and couldn't get it to startup, asked me what to do since I built my own PC, told him to try reseating his RAM, he did, and what do you know it worked.

fuck off then

>Foxconn power supply with 40 wattage
that can't be real
