Dark Souls but it's not comfy at all

Anyone else's switch getting light scratches on the bottom of the screen for putting it in the dock?

comfy is just a code word for boring desu

:(

Looking it maybe picking up Salt and Sanctuary or Gucamelee 2, also been playing a lot of Rocket League and recently Enjoyed Katana Zero

I tried to get comfy by playing Octopath. But i couldn't, after finding out that it will not replace the hole left over after finishing Bravely Default.

I'm getting a bit fed up with how annoying the joycons are - they're pretty uncomfortable.

Still have to start some of my backlog or at least finish one game I own
I have MHXX, Smash, Zelda, Mario 2D, Mario 3D, Donkey Kong, Disgaea, Hyrule Warriors and Dead Cells and Salt and Sanctuary

Zelda and NMH.
I'm having fun just aimlessly exploring and trying to find shrines in BoTW, it's kind of relaxing. TSA on the other hand is just alright. I loved the story, OST, and boss fights, but I think the lack of blood and interesting finishers make it more underwhelming than it actually is. Still waiting on ports or NMH3.

>What are you playing?

Fast RMX.

It's not as good as F-Zero GX or Wipeout on the PS4, but since Nintendo are NEVER going to release a sequel to F-Zero I'll make do.

Looks very good, and runs smoothly in handheld mode.

Hacked mine some time ago, I've been using it more in the last few weeks than I ever did since I bought it.
Been playing Herc's adventures, Broforce and Cuphead with a pal, and Peace Walker on my own. Downloading WWE 2k18 since I've been feeling like playing some wrestling, but I hear the framerate's pretty shit. Anyone knows if overclocking fixes this problem?

Attached: 1426864324314.png (196x197, 34K)

im so fucking bored vros... super Mario maker needs to be released sooner

Anybody played that cyberpunk bartender game yet?

On PC yeah. It's more of a visual novel than a bartender sim, but the art and soundtrack are quite nice, and if you just want a relaxing VN its more than worth it.

I just cover up the dock in some fabric (the piece of cloth you get with glasses works nicely).

Is piracy on the Switch comfy yet?

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 78K)

I like SnS, I stopped for a bit. But ill probably get back into it later. The lack of map is frustrating though. Still a great game otherwise.

Right now playing Isaac and Smash, looking for some good action side scroller though. Something like the Dishwasher games or Castle Crashers.

I'll give it a go. Is it the kind of thing that you can blast through in one night?

Overclocking can help in my experience but you’re better just getting it on a PS4

I'm still playing Botw. I haven't been able to play it as much because of work and finals. The game also just feels to dragging on a bit and I may just rush to last couple of areas. Any other games that have came out on Switch recently I should look out for? Any upcoming games?

Attached: fd4f347.jpg (8192x8192, 2.08M)

Just finishing up Digimon Story Hacker's Memory on Vita tonight, then finally gonna move my RPG focus to Switch. Will most likely prioritize Labyrinth of Refrain.

Also been in the mood for some BotW lately, I started a Master Mode playthrough a while ago with the idea being to focus on exploring and the compendium, but I didn't do much after I actually got the camera. Want to finally get to that now it's been long enough since my first playthrough that I want to go back though.

Also just really feeling up for some Inkling in Smash today so probably some of that.

>amazon claims kawase got delivered yesterday
>paranoid about package getting stolen since I don't know anyone in the building and bums stalk the streets outside
>not by front of door or in mail room
>only hope is that it got delivered to front office
>was closed by the time I got home and doesn't open for another two hours
W-wish me luck bros.

yes

Multiplats fucking suck on the Switch. When will Nintendo release better hardware?
>inb4 get a PC/PS4 for multiplats
I do, but I'd like to play them while traveling

been working on disgaea 1, finally got a 900 statistician yesterday, thinking of getting a 900 armsmaster next

Any recs for games that play well on a dpad? I picked up a pokken controller for playing shmups and neo geo stuff but I imagine it working well for plenty of other games.

Its a bit longer than that, personally I took my sweet time reading and came in at around 10-11 hours. But it was the kind of game I was in the mood for after coming home from work, and I assume the Switch or Vita versions would be more comfy.

Nothing, my Shitch is in repairs because the shitty Joycons last for less than a year. At least there's a year warranty on it.

>Taiko no Tatsujin.
Eh, it's not as good as the PS4 version but it's serviceable. Thinking about buying the drum controller but I still can't hit overlapping notes correctly.

My Switch won't turn on anymore. I hadn't played it in about 2 months and when I tried the other day no matter what I did I couldn't get it to turn on. I did everything on Nintendo's site, but it looks like I'll have to send it in to get fixed. Feels bad bros.

Picked up signature edition physical copies of Darkest Dungeon and Dead Cells

Attached: Darkest_Dungeon_Collectors_Edition_Switch_box_large.png (324x480, 78K)

Can you browse the internet on the Switch and view porno?

you'll have to get a PS4, Xbone, PC, or smartphone for that. Nintendo doesn't support web browsing capabilities and porn watching in 2019

The demo was so fun. I would drop the dosh for the JP digital version right now if I wasn't on a relatively tight budget.

Nope.

That's alright, if I wanted a perfect experience I'd just get it on PC. I just want to play a few matches and test out sys-clk while I'm at it.
Would you mind sharing your settings? Or do I just need to put everything on max?

You can, but only via homebrew.
gbatemp.net/threads/browsenx-web-browser-launcher-source.529438/
Dunno why nintendo thought it was a good idea to not include this feature, but who knows what goes through their heads nowadays.

Attached: feat-umihara-kawase.jpg (800x445, 78K)

That's ghey. It seems like a good way to kill the tablet market like how the PS2 did DVD players.

>used to bing bing wahoo at work during breaks
>almost beat diablo 3, zelda, and marble madness
>some nigger started asking me where I keep my switch when I'm working and kept loitering around my department when he had no business being there
>can't bring it to work any more
Now it just sits in its dock and gets used for smash every couple days.

Any one else dealing with the same nigger shit and find a solution?

Attached: 1364643238626.png (617x346, 364K)

I find it refreshing that the switch is just a games console. It doesn't try and be multimedia, no entertainment experiences or movie ads in the store like I always get on PS4. I hope the PS5 takes a similar approach even though that's obviously not going to happen.

Why does every thread need to be comfy? What does it add to the conversation?

Playing Xeno 2, filling out affinity charts and rolling for KOS-MOS. I fucking hate gacha.

Bring it to work again and when he asks you where you keep it just says some fake location and record him trying to rob you and that should get the nig fired

I bought My Time at Portia last night. Haven’t cracked into it yet but I plan on it today. Anyone have it and care to comment on it? I enjoyed Fantasy Life on 3DS and stardew valley so hoping this fills the gap until AC Switch.

>What does it add to the conversation?
Why do you have to ask?

I hear you, maybe not kill it but with a few more features and this could have been a legitimate contender in the tablet market, at the very least with younger demographics. Especially with such a big company as Nintendo backing it.
The worst part is, it's not even that the switch can't do it. Hackers really picked up the slack and added tons of features to it that really makes it way more versatile. It's just that Nintendo decided not to.
The argument against this is usually "It's a games console, it doesn't need those features!" but honestly, if they didn't want people to get overwhelmed or something, I don't see what was stopping them from hiding all that stuff behind some "advanced features toggle" in the options or something.

Did you play Bravely Second?

Nope, because I got a tempered glass screen protector for it and installed it day 1 like I do on all devices with screens.

always strive to be comfy

Planning on getting a Switch sometime soon,is the handheld mode as bad as they say?

MK11, using a pro controller. Looking for a better D-Pad, any recommendations?

handheld is generally better than docked for most games

They probably didn't include it because its a common attack vector for hacking the switch

Not him but it has a browser built in that you can see when you try to add friends via your Facebook friends list. It literally runs on an internet browser built-in to the switch but that is the only thing they use it for.

Ez pz as long as you have a switch releases before July 2018.

check the pokken controller, it's cheap and really solid. 8bitdo do a ton of classic controllers too if you're more comfortable on an SNES/genesis pad

absolutely wrong

Persona 5 :^)

Virtua racing
Really hope they'll release it in the west soon, online is kinda tough when the majority of your matches is at like 5fps because you keep getting paired with japanese

SN30

Im playing OOT on 2DSXL until Switch gets some fucking games.

Is Starlink worth a play?
Looks pretty fun, and I love Star Fox 64.

Mini version when?
And anyone know if the 3DS grip fits the new 2DS as well?

Attached: 1431508287296.png (546x432, 283K)

Why the fuck would anyone know this? They just announced like a week ago that there will be no reveals of new hardware at E3 and there would be no new hardware coming out in the next 12 months.

Because these threads seem to be some sort of /vg/ wannabe with the same theme, and almost always the same Switch with red and green joycons with the NSO NES screen. I also hate people that inject "comfy" into everything.
I won't, but if you like being comfy then you do you m8.
Eh, I don't really get movie ads. The What's Hot tab almost always has games. I do like the more stream-lined eShop of the Switch even if it feels more bare-bones. It has Hulu, so I don't see why Netflix can't be a thing if Hulu already is. The Internet browser should be a must, and more fucking themes for the Switch besides black and white. I can live without all the HBO plus and TV channels that PS4 has in the media tab.
Also, it's been almost a fucking year, when are we getting discounts for having NSO, and where are the rewards Nintendo talked about?

do you have to unlock the majority of characters in smash? i really don't like the idea of starting with all of them unlocked like 4

Apparently the reason it doesn't have themes is because the current home screen is specifically designed to be lightweight and quick to load. It only takes up something like 5mb. I imagine they want to retain the small file size so custom themes don't take a big performance hit (look at the wii u's home screen loading time). No excuse for them to not give you more colors to choose from at least.

Shantae half-genie hero

Only problem is that joycons tend to collect dust under their sticks, so you have to clear them out with contact cleaner regularly. Using pro controller is less of a hassle.

Right now FF12 Think I'll pick up Yoshi soon.

user, please tell me you play online. Finding players is so hard these days. If you do, add me - not just you, but also anyone else who plays Fast RMX.
FC: SW-2675-9329-4104 (Jelash13)

Ontopic: Picross S3

You start with kirby and have to finish the campaign to unlock 20 or so you then can use to unlock the rest with challenges.

Where the fuck is VA-11 NSP?

Depends, how bad did they say it was?
It's slightly less powerful that docked mode for sure, so bigger games games may lag a bit or drop in resolution, but the smaller screen can sometimes make games look better since the picture isn't blown out on a huge tv where you can see all the defects
Protip: try to get an older one. It'll be cheaper, and they're easily hackable, which I highly recommend doing, even if you don't plan on pirating

I guess that makes sense, but hey fat lot of good that did em, right?

That's true, but that makes it even worse in my opinion. It's right there! They're just blocking you from accessing it!
And I know there's a way to access it freely, but it requires messing with your settings and your router or something, and honestly if you're at the point where you're gonna put that much work into getting an internet browser working, you're better off just sticking a paperclip in there and using the beefed up homebrew version.

Did Nintendo say this? Seems like kind of a bullshit excuse if you ask me, I have a custom theme with multiple large background pictures and animated bits, and the loading time isn't any different from the regular theme.

this is nice user, i'm tempted to grab the game too. maybe we can all race together.

so it'll take awhile to get them all? preferably

Played Smash for the first time in about 2 months. Got my ass kicked by a Wario, but I did 2-0 a Fox afterwards.

I'm going to a local tourney tonight, and I know I'm going to suck, but I go to tournaments more for the interaction anyway.

Attached: pac-man.jpg (375x375, 30K)

Didn't own a Wii U, but I did wanna say that the homescreen is cooler than the Switch's. I can respect their decision to want people to jump right in to their games, but I don't know. I guess I'm just upset that the online service might as well not be there since it has changed and added virtually nothing.

>Tfw my joy cons are dragging every now and then

Attached: 1556949917744.gif (274x249, 214K)

It's so good, I was up until 2am doing co-op last night. Cany believe I missed the boat on this game the first time around.

This is why I use my pro controller as much as possible.

My FC is there. Add me. If you buy the game, we will play!

i want to buy a physical copy of smash bros, but when i "add to cart", the middle one is placed in it. it's 50 bucks less, which is ideal, but it also ships from absolutely nowhere at all. on top of that, the game itself doesn't list a base price when looking at a list of switch games. what gives?
the digital version and botw are there to compare the shipping areas

Attached: firefox_2019-05-04_12-48-04.png (1222x469, 108K)

Shogi. If you let the girl cheat a little shell show you her cleavage and generally be sexy.

Use dekudeals

thanks, walmart seems to be only a dollar more

The home screen was a lot nicer, but it came at a cost of fairly long load times. And with Miiverse shutting down, it just looks depressing to look at, since back then you could see active communities and recent posts. Not anymore though, all you get are "connect to the internet" messages.

It's good, but I suck at it so it makes me so mad. Not comfy time at all.

It's absolutely crazy how much better Torna is than the vanilla game.

Attached: ce305e9807e3e48c49fe92837f2b96ae7557feca982c7d003cda4f340b4f6c95.jpg (1000x562, 240K)

Did they change anything as far as the battle mechanics ?

Steamworld Heist

shit's fun, i'm gonna grab quest once i'm done

Tekken 7.

They changed a lot. There's no blade summoning or changing in Torna. You switch places with your blade and whoever is on standby casts buffs. There's more than that but that's one of the most significant changes.

Finally decided to pick up Bayonetta 2 bundled with Bayo 1 so I can finally play through them. Can't believe I waited so long to play this, it's so fucking good. Also going to play some NSMB U Deluxe so I can get all the collectibles.

okami hd
should I bother changing the filter from normal?

Caligula looks a lot worse than I expected. The 3D models are too blurry and I don't want to dock it. Do you get used to it?

Doom on the switch with gyro aim is great

Attached: 1496724327422.png (197x190, 52K)

It came out on Thursday

Fuck having gigantic hands, playing Switch in handheld is uncomfortable as fuck. I have to constantly adjust the position of my entire hand if I want to operate the control sticks properly.

Tales of Vesperia. This game is massive, I just got to the end of the third act and so many different sidequests and secret areas opened up. Really fun[ /spoiler] game.

I have Star Allies coming in a few days, what will I think of it?

Gonna keep plugging away at Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the game that never ends.

Have about 30 bucks and probably gonna get VA11 Hall-a, but also want a puzzle game. On the fence between Picross s3, Baba is you and Boxboy+Boxgirl

When Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing come out they will dominate my Switch

Doom is ironically enough my most played game. I'm more of a Nintendo fan than anything else, yet I have 118 hours of playtime for Doom.

I didn't get THAT much playtime out of the 2016 game since the MP was mediocre but I've replayed it multiple times on PC and enjoyed it enough to pick it up again on the Switch

If they don't fuck up the port of Eternal then I might pick it up on both platforms speaking of which why isn't Doom 1&2 on the Switch?

Attached: 1461351864763.jpg (400x400, 18K)

please respond

Yo, I've got RMX too. Here's my FC.

SW-4041-4649-7417

.

Attached: reddit.jpg (799x985, 137K)

Well, to be fair I did play it on normal, ultra violence twice, and once on nightmare. That's the bulk of it. I don't think Doom 1 and 2 is on Switch..Though it wouldn't surprise me if they did come out for it. Definitely going to pick up Eternal when it comes out

Just getting back into Splatoon 2, and I'm finally about to hit S-rank in all ranked modes soon. I know it's easier to rank up in 2 but it's an accomplishment for me, fuck it. I kinda want to see how far I can go, see if I can hit S+ in every mode, and then maybe X, but I doubt it.

Also playing Smash.

I'm probably going to buy Cuphead and Wargroove sometime soon too.

Have you tried ultra nightmare yet? I got to around mission 7 before dying on the PC version and haven't bothered with that mode since then due to pure salt

Oh and I have a strange feeling that Doom 1&2 COULD come to the Switch as a bonus unlockable within Eternal

happy birthday

I wouldn't say it's better, just different. As crazy as this sounds, I think I enjoy the original a bit more because once you know what you're doing, doing big damage on enemies is fucking fun. Enemies die to easily in Torna, especially when the game gives you Blade combos for free, and almost always Driver combos for free.

while this thread is active, anyone else have this big input lag in all games? its pretty damn noticeable when its on tv mode. only thing preventing me from playing the switch more

DQ:B

Super cozy. Listening to history podcasts and building a massive city in Terra Incognita. Can’t wait for the sequel.

Also side note; how’s Dragon’s Dogma on the Switch? I’ve never played it but was curious to try it on the system.

Oh yeah, I tried. The farthest I've gotten was like, the third area of the first mission. Ultra Nightmare is something else. Fucking nuts

Yeah, I mostly noticed it in platformers

It's alright. It runs at a consistent 30 both docked and in handheld mode. There's early GTA-tier levels of pop in, though, if that's a deal breaker for you. I think the PS4 version is better.
