Yeah this has been a bit of a problem for me. I have Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 1 on my PS4 and now they're all coming out on PC and I don't know if I want to get them on Ps4 for consistency's sake or get it on PC because that's what I usually prefer to use.

Switch has good exclusives and Nindies run fine with superior portability. But many multiplats run like garbage (Ys and Final Fantasy, for example), the D-Pad sucks and the sticks is going to drift at some point.

PC is my favorite platform. Best catalog, mods, best prices, best hardware. The only downside is garbage ports (Batman and Nier, for example), and the heat (but I have A/C anyways).

I bought my PS4, my least favorite, mainly for Persona 5, Bloodborne was a nice bonus, enjoyed Yakuza games that now are aviable on PC. But it has been pretty much dead to me until they announced that physical Battle Garegga port, I'm hope they do the same with Ketsui.

I really only have sonic adventure and a wii emulator right now. I used to be more into emulating but once I got a virus on my phone from trying to download a sonic romhack, I forgot which rom hack it was. I have got a few games on my switch and the most fun we’re MARIO odyssey and smash ultimate for me. Sorry if this seems weird to type out, I just wanted to give my own personal opinions. Two games that haven't come out (death stranding, tsushima), one of which we don't even know what the fuck it is, an Anthem tier fiasco (Days Gone), an emulatable game (Persona 5) and 5 other games, one of which is getting on PC once they decide its time for people to tripple dip. Biggest turn off for me with PS4/XB1 is the amount you have to pay for online

If PC ports were all optimized, and PS4 and Switch were emulation friendly, it would be the peak machine. However, since they’re not, it’s better to have a PC, PS4 and Switch, in case of one of them having a worthwhile exclusive or being the only thing capable of running a game well.

PC+Switch is good enough. PC for best possible frame rate, best possible resolution, can use any controller, don't have to pay an additional fee to play online, can still play older releases without hoping for a remastered port, can play entire older gens of consoles through emulation, entire genres like RTS are exclusive to PC, can mod games for customization and unofficial fixes if the publisher dropped support, etc. Switch for the Nintendo exclusives and the portability, and that the online is a third of the price of it's competitors. The only real reason I'd buy a PS4 for would be Bloodborne and Gravity Rush 2, and two games don't justify the purchase (especially since Sony shut down the GR2 servers so you can't even unlock the bonus stuff anymore). All the good looking Japanese third-party exclusives ended up being timed exclusive (Yakuza, Disgaea 5, Nier, Ni no Kuni 2, etc), and all the western first-party games are "cinematic experiences". I'd honestly rather get an Xbone than the PS4, solely for the backwards compatibility, so I can play the Ninja Gaiden trilogy and Panzer Dragoon Orta.
