You're literally leaving Robo there for 400 years, and sure to the main party and you the player that shit is literally a minor inconvenience where you lose him for a total of maybe 5 minutes of time that it takes you to go back to corridor of time and just change the time period.
But Robo is there completely fucking alone, with 0 maintenance, stuck in a medieval society for 400 fucking years.

Lucca’s basically a giant nerd, Marle is energetic and friendly, Frog has great character development dealing with his inferiority complex and standing up to/learning to let go of his vengeance towards Magnus, Robo is one of the sweetest robots you’ll meet in fiction, Ayla kicks ass and takes names, as well as being hilarious at times, and Magnus is just based all around.

I played it for the first time last year an old DS my brother left here before leaving for college, I was surprised how much I liked those little sprite characters. Combat was actually fun, it’s a lot of fun to flex on enemies with lit combos
