I imagine part of it is that Atlus made a custom engine for P5 and it'd be too much of a pain for them to port it over to the switch. SMT V is using Unreal Engine 4 for its engine so this Persona engine might be ditched after P5 or just used for the Persona series.

The only real benefit of PS5's proposed hardware is the insane amount of RAM available. The PS5 is over a year away. Sony has a reputation for scaling back on hardware (absolute trash components every generation) before the final release of their consoles. That much RAM per console would cost a fortune to make, since there is a syndicate running RAM production.

I have the platinum trophy for Persona 5 and you Nintenbabies honestly arent missing much. You can experience 80% of the game by just watching it on Youtube, and even then I dont recommend it.
