Ork Team Racing with fully customizable trukks complete with weapon loadouts to use on the competition.

These things look like huge cathedrals, but apparently only contain like ten or twenty people.

Just somehow recreate the tabletop game as a RTS/4x game like Total Warhammer.

What? Even the smallest escort has a crew in the thousands.

ten or twenty million*

A city building game where you manage different types of imperial planets

Try ten or twenty thousand.

a game where you play as a psyker and all you has to do is die to keep the emprah alive

tau cafeteria, where you manage your shop and clients in a tau world and make everyone happy

Admech game made by Zachtronics.

-Mass Effect style Eisenhorn Game
-revive Gorkamorka Mad Max game
-Battlefield Imperial Guard
-Tau Mech game
-Rogue Trader with different factions(maybe akin to Vermintide)

You already posted it. That said I'm not sure how a first person shooter would gel with semi-strategic parts of ordering your boyz around. Maybe make it more like Overlord or something and go third person.

Attached: 0dae3ffc5447.jpg (1000x1229, 220K)

These things can be up to 8KM long and have between 30k and 30M crew on board

Gorkamorka 2?

An official Chapter Master?

I think I'd have the most fun with a Rogue Trader game with massive area and interactivity to work with.

I didn't know I wanted this

This. Just a full on recreation of the real game with the ability to customise and colour your figures as you like, with random battles, pick a force based on points cost, a story campaign and online miltiplayer.

They can even do the trendy live service bulshit with microtransactions for more 'paint' colours, new models and extra customisation parts

>recreate tabletop
>real time
>anything to do with 4x when the tabletop is a turn based tactics game
????

This will never happen. GW are already have the stupid mis-belief that video games of their I caniblaises their tabletop sales. It is part of the reason why they have never seriously invested in them.

I mean the idea is great and would make shit tons of money whilst giving exposure to the tabletop and cross selling, but they will never do it.

So what does all that crew do on board?

Most of that are slaves to load the cannons anyway.
And if youre at least a bit important you wouldnt venture further in the ships as unspoken horrors dwell there.
The bigger ships contain whole cities and microcivilisations in them so theres at least one spot to chill.

Attached: 1391627899002.jpg (800x325, 84K)

Menial work mostly. Keep shit maintained, load weapons, run the engine, etc. Think about how many crew a modern day aircraft carrier has, and then scale that up to the equivalent size.

can't they use machines instead?

UWOT

I love how the faction that claims to love humanity above all else treats their own kind like absolute garbage

Don't be silly user. Next you're going to say some crazy shit like putting an AI on board.

The IoM are VERY paranoid about automation, especially with weapon systems.
In fairness, in this case they've got pretty good reasons, which I imagine the Tau are going to find out about any time soon.

>Post your ideal 40k game.

A third person arena shooter/action game that takes place in various Dark Eldar arenas. You can play as dark eldar units or units from other races who were capture and forced to fight.

They really need to focus more on this sort of shit.

>Most of that are slaves to load the cannons anyway.
What? Like soul powered?
>And if youre at least a bit important you wouldnt venture further in the ships as unspoken horrors dwell there.
This is a ship we're talking about right?
>The bigger ships contain whole cities and microcivilisations in them so theres at least one spot to chill.
And they just casually go into battles and stuff?

That is because the vast majority of humanity in setting is absolute garbage. If they weren't then they wouldn't need to worry about Chaos gaining a foothold all the time.

To be fair, you're talking about a universe were having emotions on the scale of an anxiety attack can get you possessed by a lesser demon. Chaos isn't powerful because humanity is shitty, humanity has to be shitty because chaos is so powerful.

That did not end well

Attached: Men of Iron.jpg (800x445, 94K)

First person guardsman shooter.

>Most of that are slaves to load the cannons anyway.
Nothing like elbow grease to load a 50 ton shell
>This is a ship we're talking about right?
IoM ships have an infestation problem. Something about an interdimensional race that lives only in the shadows. I think they eat your emotions or something
>And they just casually go into battles and stuff?
Eldars are even better. They have these things called "craftworlds", planet sized ships, completely armed and able to withstand most forms of invasions (there's only a couple left, inexplicably)

I don't remember them saying anything about love. It's just them trying to survive in a universe where being reasonable gets you murder-raped by horrors. That's what makes it so fun to play with.

You know I've loved this picture for years and only now just noticed the dudes hanging themselves on the stage below the warriors.

Imperium Commando when?

I need to dig through archives and make copypasta of all the answers I've given to this question, it would save a lot of time when it crops up in these threads.

Humanities very nature is what allows Chaos to breach the veil and enter realspace. On top of some being so shitty they literally attract these daemons. People are being treated like garbage because they are in large part, garbage.

>tfw the Slaughtersong got fucked by Chaos because of its AI.

Attached: 1551533881640.jpg (1277x772, 138K)

Same diff. At its best both had simmilar vibes, now Fantasy has been replaced with shiny capeshit tier garbage and 40k is following suit.

Doesnt even make sense, why wouldn’t you use animals here and not humans

A sequel to Final Liberation. Still with live action cutscenes.

When i google automorial of middenheim nothing comes up. What is actually happening here?

>Humanities very nature is what allows Chaos to breach the veil and enter realspace.
But both Horus and Magnus started out with good intentions. They were tricked by chaos and that's what allowed them to breach the veil.

>why wouldn’t you use animals here and not humans
Not everyone has that many Bretonnian peasants on hand user.

I agree that MAGNUS DID NOTHING WRONG, but Horus was a softcock and fell to Chaos because he didn't get enough hugs from daddy E. So like I said, garbage.

Also neither of those two are technically human either.

Animals are too valuable. People are cheaper.

Lorgar was also a bitch and fell to Chaos because daddy broke his (banned) toys

Magnus was a complete retard who destroyed any hope for an imperial webway, he should have been put down after this mistake
Also his legion is the shittiest

Horus was a massive stupid cunt with daddy issues.
Magnus did nothing wrong and got fucked over by everyone and everything, not only Chaos.

I love this. Orks are such a rich seam to mine for gameplay, I adore them.

Wisdom, Orks are a hack and slash mayhem franchise if there ever was one and need third person.

Yiff in hell you wolf loving shit.

Space wolves are cringe
Death guard and Iron warriors are the best

>t. Leman Russ
give us back our pyramids, you bearded fuck

I'd have daddy issues too if I had to deal with the Emp's shit all the time.

>Death guard and Iron warriors are the best
that's not how you spell Hydra Dominatus

*Black Library Hacks are massive stupid cunts with daddy issues.
Ignore them and the HH is far more bearable.

Space Marine 2

>Magnus did nothing wrong
He sold out to a Chaos "god" and used daemon familiars. He was literally retarded.

>GW already have the stupid mis-belief that video games of their I caniblaises their tabletop sales
Fuck that is retarded. They can literally render the tabletop and print money. Can you imagine how smooth a game would be if you didn't have to bust out the ruler and re-roll every fucking turn? I'm mad.

Endless Space 2 with heavy W40k integration and paintjob.
Results in

Bingo.

Battlefleet Gothic 3 but with every army

What new toys will the Admech get?

Tau have negligible warp presence. And thats only because of Etherials.
Thats the advantage Tau have..

In theory, if everybody in the empire became like bhuddist monks and get complete control of their minds. Would chaos be blocked from entering realspace?

An actual turn-based rendition of the tabletop game.

Not as long as the eye of terror exists

They have a failing business model to prop up that revolves around a proliferation of too many directly owned physical stores. They will never seriously invest in anything they consider a threat to getting people to come in store and pay inflated prices. Hell they put potentially illegal international retail embargo in place just to protect their shitty business model. GW is crazy.

To an extent yes for the general populace. But it wouldn't completely protect against things like rogue psykers getting possessed because their mind attracts warp entities.

40K X-Com

I don't need an ideal 40k game, i just want Space Marine 2

Attached: A0e8a4e378bf013aade7393f60d8b20a.jpg (500x414, 28K)

That is Chaos Gate user. Would definitely love another one though. Or even just a remake.

With AI, it's not their creator's warp presence that's the problem

There is a 40k mod for the original xcom, its pretty fun in a "90s 40k" kind of way

GREEN IZ BEST

they could, but it's literally cheaper to use manual slave labor. bullets are literally more expensive to make compared to the life of humans in 40k

>What? Like soul powered?
no literally shells the size of buildings think jews when they were dragging huge ass blocks for the pyramids
>This is a ship we're talking about right?
yes, there are areas of the ship that may contain these fuckers

yes

Never heard this about the imperium before aside from maybe the Emperor himself. the IOM is all about survival, it's a shame that they go about it in the most impractical of ways

Imperial knight freeblade with mechwarrior gameplay with RPG elements where you choose to which areas you respond to and manage your knight household

rogue trader rpg game with a mix of squad based tps combat and ship2ship fighting where you go around doing shit in the galaxy establishing trade, answering calls of aid and banging chicks across the universe

Battlefield 40K
Wargame 40K
An RPG/shoota/fightan game where you play as an Ork trying to become a Warboss.
SPEHS MAHREEN FUCKING 2.

Because those humans are flagellants; they WANT to do shit like that.
And telling them no is generally a bad idea, especially when there's ten thousand of them.

>bored
>want to buy W40K: Mechanicus

is it good and fun?

Fun but also too easy and repetitive.

That's not the Phalanx

Will I be alive in time for humanities crusade on xenos?

He was stupid but he wasn't even close to being as stupid as other traitor Primarchs. Hell, the only person who was corrupted and didn't act like the retard was Fulgrim.

>Horus
>Emps trusted him enough to give him Warmaster title
>WAAAAAH MY FATHER HAD ABANDONED ME

>Perturabo
>I want to be special therefore joining forces with people who mocked me before is good idea

>Konrad Curze
>people are evil and stupid therefore I should turn against that one person who is good and smart

>Lorgar
>Emperor is wisest and most powerful therefore I should rebel against him because he disagrees with me

>Angron
>WAAAAGH totally not orc

>Alpharius/Omegon
>It's perfectly reasonable to believe some Eldar guys who totally don't have any agenda in making humanity fall

Wait whats the relationship between AI and chaos/the warp? I thought automation was banned because of the ancient robot war.

Magnus ruined Big E's plan to get Eldar ass on speed dial by telling him shit he already knew, Magnus fucked up

Well, there's that Mechanicus game alresdy

its pretty lame, nothing xcomy about it

Magnus fucked up big time. It's just that he had reasons to fuck up.
Emphs didn't know about Horus treachery. Magnus didn't know who set that fucking wall around Terra. Also - Magnus had decided to warn Emphrar only after he had tried everything else.

guess who fucked up more? BIG E by not telling his sons about the whole plan. then again it's rumored and implied that he was more or less planning on having the primarchs fight each other anyway

>40k themed Planetside 2 revolving around Necromunda and it's various houses

A game like Mount & Blade where you start as an Ork and build up to your own Waagh and take over a planet.

The Men of Iron were so advanced they became self-aware and thus vulnerable to Chaos Corruption. It's not clear that was entirely why they rebelled but the Imperium fears "Abomitable Intelligence" because they can be influenced by Chaos.

THE FUCK DID YOU JUST SAY YOU FUCKING FLESHBAG? DID YOU JUST IMPLY THAT THE DESIGN OF THIS HOLY BATTLESHIP IS NOT THE PERFECT WILL OF THE GOD IN THE MACHINE AND THAT EVERY CREW REQUIREMENT IS ORDAINED BY HIS BLESSED WILL?

I'M GOING TO TURN YOU INTO A FUCKING SERVITOR YOU LITTLE SHIT

Fuck yes. I can see it.

imperial guard fps horror/action game

your stranded on a planet and without a comissar you decide to book it across the world to one of your ships before shit gets real fucked.

>Orkz running around the trenches
>Eldar hunting you at night
>Genestealer on the ship

I AM THE DYNASTY'S SPEAR

Man, both Battlefleet Gothic 2 and Mechanicus was solid games, but both had the problem of being kinda shallow, Mechanicum especially. BFG2 just got boring after a while, they really shouldn't have focused on replicating the boardgame that much.

When are we getting a AAA or very least AA+ quality 40k game again? I miss Dawn of War bros.

Attached: file.png (230x277, 170K)

Mechanicus game is ass.

Whats the difference between a mind and an artificially made mind?
Theres an old titan(big robot) that made a deal with the chaos gods for freedom or something iirc.

The warp as a whole is capable of corrupring anything from planets to shoes to people. You don't need a soul to be covered in psychic residue.

I see, the only defence against chaos is faith which you can't program into a logical mind.

Read the priests of mars triology

And we almost got it, too

It's like the opposite situation of the Tau. They are a race with a minimal psychic footprint, so they are mostly immune to both physical mutation and psychic corruption.
The Men of Iron were entirely physical. Chaos "energy" can infest objects, vehicles, weapons, and even entire planets. So an AI with a mind of its own can be influenced by the corruptive, reality-warping powers of Chaos, like how a virus infects a computer, but with much bigger consequences.

In current 40k, the Mechanicus' belief in and practical use of the Machine Spirit can also act as a psychic influence on the imperium's technology. Mostly for big stuff though, like the Space Marine landraiders (which can function autonomously), and the War Titans.

user you realise everything has echoes and a presence in the warp right? psychic races have brighter and more "solid" echos, but your clothes leave impressions as well.

It's a metal as fuck illustration with little lore or context

AKA the kind of thing GW doesn't do anymore cause you can't sell models of it

>The only defence against chaos is more holy faith!
the Emporer weeps

*tips fedora*

Rogue Trader or Dark Heresy as modern RPGs

RT could have a whole random genned star system thing going with business simulation and all

user the Emporers whole schtick was trying to destroy religions and replacing it with knowledge and reason.

those arent mutually exclusive

At least Lemon Rub didn't crash his psychic Bugatti into dad's summer getaway like Fagnus did

What's going on in the bottom picture? Looks like they're lined up for a prostate exam.

i think they are all standing on a massive spinning thing. the art is bad but it is suppose to have steps. so they are leveraging 1000 slaves to crane something up or something

>there will never be a Space Marine 2
>there will never be Captain Titus serving a penitent sentence in the Deathwatch
>there will never be 4 player co-op with long-spanning missions across various biomes fighting various xenos
>there will never be Scout-Sergeant Cyrus as one of the playable characters as he makes his first contact with Tyranids

Yep, everything has a corresponding prescence in the warp. The thing about complex, self-sustaining and propagating entities (aka life) is that they create correspondingly self-sustaining currents and edies in the warp, which align with the notion of souls and sorcery, psychic powers and so on. There is a feedback loop involved where sufficiently intelligent organisms gain an increasingly strong soul in the warp, and their stray emotions can collect and aggregate with those of others to form sentient creatures made of warpstuff and corresponding to the type of emotion. These are "daemons". 40K is stuck in a self-perpetuating cycle of awful because all of the past awful results in terrible daemons made of evil emotion and Gods of Chaos, who then seek to perpetuate the awful that birthed them.

Anyway, if true artificial intelligence is created then it too produces a soul in the warp. But this soul is not refined by uncountable millenia of refinement like those of living creatures, it's a crapshoot piece of guesswork by humans who barely grasp the ramifications of what they're attempting. So the Men of Iron were extremely easy to influence and thereby corrupt by the powers of Chaos; no different to a shitty computer from the 90s running Windows 98 getting overwhelmed by advanced viruses. The Chaos Gods need mortal worshipers to buy into their memes and sustain them, and if those immortals are artificial then the more the merrier.

Hence an Imperium where computers are made using heavily lobotomised brains that can't really feel anymore, useless tools that have no volition. They can't reject Chaos, nor can they welcome it, and that's good enough for the Imperium of Man. The Emperor Protects.

thats space marine ships, and they dont count the servitors, who are technically still living humans, but are treated as equipment.
