There's a ton of those fanganronpas on twitter that obviously just went public the moment they had a cast ready to show off but won't have anything substantial to show for a long time. They don't really understand the scale of what a project like this takes.

I mean I was doing something more original to begin with but I didn't have as much motivation for it. Plus trying to create a structure similar to DR but different enough to not feel like a clone didn't feel worth the effort when I just wanted to write a killing game anyway.
I'm not using Monokuma or anything canon though, like hope/despair, Hopes Peak, or even the name, only the concept of an Ultimate and the killing game/class trial structure. I still doubt that'd be enough to get away with selling it but that's really not my intention anyway, it's a passion project that I'm doing because I enjoy it.
