Based on the question, I'm imagining pairing these weapons with elements gives them elemental properties. I can easily imagine an ice spear, because Ice is something you can stab someone with.
But how do apply water to a physical weapon? A water sword is retarded. Because if it was hard, and able to penetrate, then it's redundant with ice. But a water whip, or water arrows could work.

Poison dagger is dumb. If you're getting so close that you can use a dagger, you don't want to wait for an enemy to die of poison, no matter how fast-acting. Poison makes the most sense on something with range.
The most practical is poisoned arrows. You don't have to get close and a single arrow can do them in before they reach you.
Only when pitted against all of these magical effects, arrows can do better with other elements that give them supernatural powers which is why Poison Bow&Arrows isn't a shoe-in.
If approaching Poison from the angle of it being like venom, then you put it on some magical "scorpion tail" Whip or animal-like Claws.

Inferring the sort of effects that "Darkness" would have, it is the real best fit for a dagger (or sword assuming that wasn't used for Light). Many mythological daggers in the past happen to be "dark" or "cursed" or were usually associated by its wielder suffering an ill fate.

Putting aside that poison whips are definitely used in games, some of which have already been mentioned, a poison whip just makes sense to me.

A whip isn't as much a weapon as it is a tool to inflict pain and a symbol of domination. It's what you use to punish a wrongdoer or keep your slaves in check. Poison is much the same, in that it symbolizes the agony you use to punish enemies and the weakness that you use to keep them in line.

Either way, choosing elements just because you've seen them before in a game is pleb tier nonsense for people with no imagination. Patricians make their choices based on aesthetic and thematic arguments.
