no, homos are never right

>faggot terrorist
>right

Considering one of the options in Inquisition is rebuilding the Templar Order and possibly reforming the Circles of Magi then everything he tried to do ended up being redundant.

Name a named mage in Dragon Age 2 that wasn't a threat to society

Bethany? She seemed perfectly content though lonely with circle life.

>DA1:A
>Holy shit! Mhairi is hot.
>Holy shit! Andraste was hot.
>Holy shit! I used to bang this chick that helped me escape.
>Holy shit! I hit on everything that has vagina.
>DA2
>WTF!? I LOVE COCK NOW!
>KARL WAS MY LOVER!
>Fem!Hawke... I love you and all, but I would love you way more if you had a COCK!
>COCK! COCK! COCK! I DISAPPROVE IF I DON'T GET A COCK!
Wtf went wrong?

Of course. Fuck religious brainlets

no, he was just some fag with anger issues

>when youre so edgy you materialise irl as a spree killer

The only reason I didn't kill him was because he was my only healer... I got so tired of playing the game that I just switched to the easiest difficulty halfway through it.

Friendly reminder that the only right walkthrough is:
DAO
>be human male
>fuck highborn woman in your castle
>kiss Morrigan right after swamp
>fuck her right after first city
>fuck elf whore in elf camp
>kiss peasant woman in Redcliffe
>kiss Leliana
>fuck Leliana
>fuck all pretty whores in Denerim
>have threesome with Leliana and Isabella
>impregnate Morrigan in the end

DA2
>be male Hawk
>fuck qt insane elf
DAI
>be male inq
>fuck Cass since you have no other options

Justice.

Warden gets killed off in 4 so people stop asking

More like Bioware gets killed off after 4

Based Bethany

>Slave to a demon
No, he's always been wrong. Exterminate all apostates, exterminate all blood mages.

thank the gods for bethany, and her tits

No, mages are nukes on legs and need to be monitored. They don't got to be treated like animals but you can't trust them, the magic fucks up their brain.

Merrill

Originally it was supposed to be Velanna and not Anders who came to Kirkwall

>Holy shit! Andraste was hot.
What

Not before Platinum gets killed

No and neither was the real Anders correct

>Mages are people too, they shouldn't be treated like slaves

>Fenris is a cunt, you should totally sell him back to his former slave master

And

>Merrill will always choose the demons over you Hawke

>I am choosing my demon over you Hawke

No

Why would they

Everything they released has been a flop, we haven't seen or hear anything about Bayonetta 3 in 2 years, one of their biggest games got cancelled. Why wouldn't they get shut down?

What flies over most peoples' heads is that the story isn't supposed to be "Anders becomes a terrorist" but rather "Even the perfect representation of a positive ideal will be twisted when applied by a human". In other words, Justice is the main character, with Anders being just a sad, broken vessel. The man is literally schizophrenic, which is why he seems so contradictory both within the game, as well as when compared to Awakening. He is SUPPOSED to be radically different from the previous game.

It's easy for the positives of a game to get lost among all the shitposting

What the fuck was his problem?

Attached: Loghain.jpg (817x572, 52K)

that would have been kino

For example, Dragon Age II has the best implementation of a dialogue wheel out of all the games that tried that:
>story decisions are NOT tied to your personality, only your justification for them,
>logical options like bribery are not automatically shoved into a "personality choice",
>after each chapter (and timeskip), switching your personality becomes more and more difficult),
>being of a given personality opens up completely unique dialogue options/solutions which the other two simply won't have,

Nothing. It's a case of the devs introducing an anti-hero into the story, one who is neither you nor a party member (initially). Your interactions with Loghain and how you approach him is a litmus test of how you view anti-heroes within a story when you have no personal investment in them.

extremely shit taste desu

Nah, he was a tit who made everything worse.

Paranoid

Anders, by the time of Dragon Age II, is a schizophrenic, mentally insane mage literally possessed by a mad spirit, one who he himself tainted through his unrealistic dreams and goals.

Cont.
There is even an ending slide where, if you killed him + previously romanced him, it is heavily implied that his tormented spirit haunts you.

As opposed to physically insane?

You've contributed nothing to this discussion. Just like your entire life. Bravo. Have a biscuit.

>mad spirit
Justice was a perfectly fine spirit until he went into Anders

The real hero

Attached: 1549120204695.jpg (240x283, 11K)

Why is merril so cute?

Let me quote myself. Please read it again.

Anders, by the time of Dragon Age II, is a schizophrenic, mentally insane mage literally possessed by a mad spirit, one who he himself tainted through his unrealistic dreams and goals.

Notice the last part of the sentence? I already acknowledged that it was Anders who initially tainted Justice, but by the time Hawk meets him this corruption goes both ways.

Enchantment?

They made a better Metal Gear game than Kojima

I do love a good biscuit. I do find it kinda funny that Anders kills all the Chantry officials that were even slightly sympathetic to the mage cause, and completely misses the one bitch that wants to string them up on general principle.

Ander's story is also about a player's instincts to "protect" one's party members and trying to achieve a "good" ending or them. Anders is a deconstruction of such notions. There is no happy ending for him. The man deserves to die, not just because of his actions, but also in order to spare him further suffering and, perhaps, give Justice at least a small hope of returning to his former self.

A misunderstanding on my part then
And it flopped

Anders is worse than her. Remember, if Hawke is playing as a mage, he is literally an Apostate, and Meredith knows that. She could have Hawke killed at any point in the story, and be completely lawful with such a sentence. Instead she stayed her hand. Which she also did for Anders, not only an Apostate, but an outright escapee from a Circle and a Grey Warden deserter to boot. It was the red lyrium that drove her insane, but even in that insanity she was less extreme than Anders.

Your life flopped kek

>This franchise existed
I had honestly completely forgot

Anders was based
Fuck the Chantry and fuck templars

Probably. There was no way for them to hold a candle against anyone without magic users. Qunari are very disciplined AND had a technological advantage against Tevinter. If one of these 2 parties won, they'd not have had a chance against them.
Also... let's say Tevinter wins. Why would mages help in the war against Tevinter?

Anders led to the death of more mages in Dragon Age II than all the templars combined.

Because the Chantry and Templars are different orders
>Instead she stayed her hand. Which she also did for Anders
She makes it clear that by the time she knew about Hawke there was nothing she could do against Hawke. Anders basically says that the templars know's he's there just not where they are

Also Fenris and Sebastian has a conversation about selling out all the mages in your party. Lastly Female Hawke is perfect
Sadly yes

Attached: dragon_age_2_female_hawke_by_naughtyboy83-d3dqive.jpg (1131x707, 211K)

Anders is a retard. He runs A CLINIC. Which operates DURING THE DAY. Anyone could have easily found him, and guess what? Tons of people did. His patients. Of course the Templars knew where he was.

As for "she couldn't do anything about it". She outright states that she knows he's an Apostate, but due to the good Hawke has done she'll pretend she doesn't.

>Chantry and Templars are different orders
Yes, precisely. Dingus couldn't even bomb the right target.

You may think that, but it was revealed in a prequel book to Inquisition that Anders's actions wasn't what started the mage rebellion. It was the truth about tranquillity and some other politics that did it

Attached: 1544434899594.png (500x602, 213K)

based and redpilled

Which one? The title please.

In his mind the Chantry was the right target because they are the ones who sets the rule about magic.

As opposed to the ones who have repeatedly exceeded their operational authority brutalizing those perceived to have even slightly broken said rule?

Dragon Age: Asunder

Attached: 1543937608688.png (700x470, 232K)

Orlesians.

Why hit the hand when you want the head, he also can't blow up templar HQ without blowing up the mage circle in Kirkwall.

user...you're talking about Cassandra discovering how to roll back tranquility, and it had nothing to do with the mage rebellion starting, Need proof? Here's a passage from the Codex in Inquisition: "During the war the Tranquil were ignored by rebel mages and left to live or die without consideration."

Bethany, alternatively Hawke

Me

Well another user told me that's what happened, would user lie to me?

dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Mage-Templar_War

Merrill would cause the death of her whole clan and then some if her retard keeper didnt take the demon in her place

oh wait...

The hand doesn't usually keep beating people to death after you blow up the head. And considering the Knight-Commander's immediate reaction to the Chantry's destruction was to order the summary execution of the entire Circle, all he really did was remove every sympathetic party and trigger a brutal conflict that would cost the lives of countless innocent people all across the Free Marches.

Thats kind of the point though

Show what the templars would be willing to do to innocent people if it meant restoring order

Yes I didn't play the first one 3 was horrible

At least Morrigan will still have her son for all her needs

Don't quote a wiki, user. You're embarassing yourself.

And this is why I despise discussing games on Yea Forums. With time I discovered that 80% of people with whom I argue have never played the game and are operating on "common knowledge", heresay and wikis/guides.

Wrong. Merrill practiced blood magic without incident for 7 years.
The only bad shit that happened in her story was because the retard Keeper thought she knows better.

>A corrupted mage who fights to overthrow the lawful order of the city and start a bloody uprising using interdimensional deamons
>Being right

These two sentences do not belong in the same solar system.

You forgot to add "and said daemon is a spirit who once was Justice, whom said mage turned into Vengence - and he knows this. And he still continues doing what he does."

Bann Teagan was based. That's all.

Reminder this faggot is the only party member to gain approval if you sell Fenris back to his master.

The game makes it very clear that the two have a hatred for each other

Only that Fenris is right. Anders is a walking, talking, breathing argument for the existence of Circles.

did someone cum sparkly sperm on his face?

Not that it makes Anders less of an idiot, but the Knight-Commander was an interim authority figure in Kirkwall only on the grounds of "we have lots of armed men", having lead a coup against the previous ruler (with the matter being retroactively justified as a crusade to oust a "heretic"), and repeatedly stonewalled any attempts to get a new, permanent leader instated. Not to mention, she has repeatedly violated Chantry law, including tranquilizing mages who passed their Harrowing.

Yes, it was the radioactive homo.

Is it possible to beat DA 2 without becoming a faggot?

homosexual game of thrones wannabe made by actual faggots for actual faggots. KYS OP, with any luck bioware is fucking terminated after anthem flopped

no, the mere act of installing DA 2 turns you into a faggot

You forgot to mention that the city was plagues with apostate mages dablling in demon summoning/blood magic, at the same time suspecting that the Circle was secretly shielding them. And she was right, as two notes and at least one dialogue directly confirm.

Not for a jedi.

Meredith had her issues but she did not abuse tranquillity like you make it sound, but she did not have the right to kill everyone in the circle because of what Anders did. That was a clear breach of authority. And the coup against the previous ruler was also somewhat justified as he did try to drive them out of town with an army and hanging the knight commander.

It was made in the inbetween period, when Bioware was still semi-talented but it had already been terminally infested with folks like this.

Attached: Hamburgers for everyone.png (720x682, 435K)

Blowing up the Chantry was a breaking point for Meredith, who at that time was already corrupted by red lyrium. Keep in mind that, at this point, often with the assistance of Hawke, she has uncovered numerous blood mages, demon worshippers etc. within her city, and has every reason to believe the Circle was quietly supporting them. And as I've mentioned before, she was completely right.

She had nothing to do with the game not living up to its potential. The game had an extremely short development period due to EA shenanigans.

Well that would certainly explain why the playing area was just a single city.

True but the quality of the writing is all on Bioware

No, we would have been right about the suspicion and mistreatment had the Kirkwall mages who were accused of blood magic actually weren't blood mages, but guess fucking what, they were and Hawke is forced to kill all of them. Which makes the Kirkwall Templar order entirely justified.

Attached: 1555033663507.jpg (1108x1440, 762K)

The idea itself was interesting, however due to such a short development cycle BioWare didn't really have a Chance to flesh out the city by adding a ton of unique locations, which would then change during the various timeskips. If given another year (instead of the 12 months they had), they could've easily added more diverse locations.

Friendly reminder that even the fucking First Enchanter summoned a demon as soon as he felt in danger. Oh, and he covered for a mage who was a brutal murderer. And he knew about that.

I’m okay with Anders being bi
He’s more melodramatic in 2, so he’s less of a man whore and more of a romantic

Dragon Age 2 is a real guilty pleasure of mine
I love the overt edgyness of it all, almost like sonic games
I actually really liked the party members in general.
I fucking love the more chill atmosphere and focus on local events and time skip stuff
Could have been amazing with a couple more years in the oven

Yeah it's not that bad in retrospect

The GMILF that was Knight Commander Meridith was entirely correct in her desire to put those scheming mage faggots to the pyre, she fucking knew they were all lying cunts and had she not fallen to Red Lyrum poisoning and gone insane, siding with her would have been a moral imperative.

Attached: Meridith_Act_2.png (689x768, 711K)

Yeah, that was sort of dumb
She’s stated to actually be pretty liberal with the Mages considering how fucked Kirkwall is with the Veil earlier in the game
It’s only when she goes crazy with red lyrium that her bullshit gets out of hand
Conversely, you have Orsino who’s been doing blood magic experiments and aiding fucking serial killers and necrophiliacs. And all that blood magic weakens the veil which causes mages to get corrupted more often which causes everyone to have more reason to fear mages
Kirkwall should have been fucking purged

Even when she started going batshit, Meridith was one of the few characters in the game that wasn't lying to Hawke. Practically everyone else was either taking you for a ride or had a side-hustle they were trying to rope the player into, but Meridith tells you her intentions and the reasons why from the get go and only her methods therein get progressively more tyrannical due to the Red Lyrum infection.

>Go through the game making reasonable choices
>Nearly resolve things with a decent compromise
>Bioware says "no, fuck you" and shits on everything your character has worked for via DM fiat
Dragon Age 2 was a mistake.

Attached: 1275689047461.jpg (488x332, 18K)

The gargantuan efforts of a reasonable many can be swept aside by a dickbag few, user.

What part of there is no compromise do you not understand user?
