I remember seeing this picture over and over before Anthem launch, and immediately disappear like 2 hours after the release.
Also apparently it was just one autistic user

Yea Forums doesn't know what it's talking about 99.99% of the time.
But anthem was guaranteed to be a flop anyway
anthem is fucking based i don't know what you're on about mate
Cope.
did you know you can get free v-bucks by pressing CTRL + W?
Did Anthem flop? I didn't even remember it existed.
>$0.05 have been deposited to your account
>Did Anthem flop?
That would be an understatement
No. It's doing quite well and has sold many copies for EA. The roadmap is being renovated and some new features are planned for release soon per Ben Irvo.
>guys who came from the Dragon Age team to help out pre launch Anthem are going back to the Dragon Age team
Wow. So controversial you pbitch fuck. Stop trying to start controvery and shitpost crusades.
It surely hasn't reached the 5 million copies they predicted.
I think it's fair to say it did. Lost most of its player base at launch on really bad terms and did not make any kind of sales headlines
Ironic shitposting is still shitposting user
All I take from this image is that it's near impossible to predict a game's success.
It flopped so hard they reached a new low, I have never before seen a game so bad it gets retconned to be an Early Access title after it's actual launch
EA backtracked and is now claiming it's early access, and updates have slowed to be on par with Runescape.
Well, they postponed the complete roadmap for this year and rebranded the game as early access.
>retconned post release to "early access"
When did they do this I'm actually dying thats so fucking funny
It flopped pretty hard IMO, a data collection center specifically made for these big companies said the game only made 100mil and after the cost of production, that likely isn't much.
On PS4, the servers are pretty much dead and other than the bricking scare that was unironically the most stable version of the game. Currently, BioWare is looking to hire people to design weapons and also someone who has experience in designing and making loot systems for online games. These are lead positions aswell.
Last month
Does bricking people’s PS4s count as flopping?
I would love to say it didn't count when God of Onions and Spiderman were doing it last year but Anthem is so shit I can't even ironically defend it through shitposting.
Anthem sold well though, from a financial perspective it was a success, everyone hated it, but in the end of the day EA had nothing to complain
