I'm , but I find the whole Dishonored series frustrating in a way. They're exactly the kind of games that appeal to me, but their lack of difficulty and a lack of some basic features like NG+ really drags them down.
Dishonored 2 also wasn't as memorable despite the fact that the Clockwork Mansion and The Dust District are some of the best vidya levels we've had this decade.

I've played MGS1 & VR Missions, MG Ghost Babel, BamHam Asylum/City, and Thief Gold. Thief is a really well-made game with a unique world but it never really grabbed me and it took me quite a while to really make progress in it. Can't complain when I spent $1 on it on Steam.
Dishonored interests me because of what you said. It's probably a good transition from what I like into the genre. Blood Money, Mark of the Ninja, and that Looney Tunes Sheep Raider PS1 game are on my list of stealth to try also. I think those are the ones most likely to get me.

Just keep in mind that there are a lot of different styles to stealth. Thief and Splinter Cell are more slow paced, where as games like Dishonored, MGS and Mark of the Ninja are faster and more arcadey. Hitman is it's own beast entirely. It practically exists in it's own sub genre since the game is more about hiding in plain sight and finding creative ways to kill people rather than hiding in the shadows.
Some stealth games will click and others won't.
