Fucking truth. Arkham City was such an awful slog. It just took Arkham Asylum and stretched the gameplay over a massive area. It felt painful to finish.

Arkham Knight is my favorite entry. The atmosphere of Asylum with a game that's actually built from the ground up with an open world in mind. I don't mind the lack of boss battles since the boss fights in the games have always been the worst part.

Fear Itself and Secret War were definitely the worst picks out there. Fear Itself would be fine if it weren't for those horrible gauntlets he's got on his wrists.

I think MARVEL Spider-Man™ 2 for PS5 could be great if it took gameplay elements from the Arkham games. The side-missions were fucking terrible and so were the boss fights. They also took the fear-gas element and blatantly ripped it off and made it worse which was stupid.

How? If you think City is Tim Burton-esque then how in the hell do you explain Origins which has an enormous bridge that takes an eternity to cross and the entire industrial sector which is a Tim Burton wonderland on top of all the snow everywhere?
Do you somehow enjoy the Joker just hijacking the story right in the middle and then being incredibly boring for several hours because it completely ruins the actual, original choice of using Black Mask as the main villain instead of someone more prevalent? Do you enjoy them completely squandering multiple characters for five minute side missions outside of the Mad Hatter? Deadshot was a travesty in particular. They even have Cobblepot just go away for the rest of the game once you meet him. The only new character they even did right was Deathstroke.
What about the Grapnel being somehow better than the finalized Grapnel Bruce gains in City leading to the question why he even needed to do a bunch of tests if he had already used it multiple times decades prior without training? Or how about asking why Bruce decided the tasers in his gloves was a bad idea when it could charge locked doors

Origins was alright but it squandered so many things and made so many dumb decisions and it is in no way even remotely close to beating City or Asylum at all.

Make it so we get to see Mania in Spidey 2 and we get Agent Venom instead of the evil Symbiotes.

Honestly? Advanced. At first I didn't like it, but it grew on me over the course of the game.

Admittedly, I've never been big on alternate outfits in games. Once I've worn them for a few minutes or see them in cutscenes I usually get tired of them.

well that makes complete sense because knight is the peak of gameplay and story, but the fucking tank dude, still haven't beaten it. If the batmobile were just the batmobile and a form of getting from point A to B with an occasional open world car chance event it would be great.

There isn't that much tank in the main story, and even then it has more variety itself than the gadgets in Asylum. I only disliked it's use in bosses and predator missions.
Also the enemy variety is what makes the game good. The game wouldn't have an ounce of difficulty if they didn't have enemies force certain strategies

I like the snow and the menu theme is probably my favorite because of around :45 or so.
idk really the game never felt bad or wasted even the deathstroke first boss was really cool

I got about just past the part where ivy dies last time I played, you are right I do LIKE the enemy variety but for me personally it's hard to tell which one is which in a big cluster fuck and when you're on a big combo and suddenly do a little slap on an armored guy it's pretty lame, origins has the shock gauntlets but that's me.

What I do hate more than anything is watching a video and hearing some say " arkham games you just press x and y xd " When that is literally city, the supposed best one

City is overrated IMO. It's open world isn't as good as Asylum, the atmosphere is nonexistant, the story is genuinely not good and focuses too much on Joker compared to the more interesting Protocol 10, and I hate pretty much every area in the game.

This one ended up being my favorite, which was surprising. I thought it looked like shit in the comics, but it actually being shiny in the game with the glowing spider symbol looks great.

This suit actually looks great in the game. It is so vibrant yet doesn't look as cartoony as the animated suit or the anime one. There's a more subtle effect to it that actually makes it fit perfectly.

You can swap suit powers. Spider-Armor mk3 with the spider legs fit really well. The back of the suit even looked like the legs had a storage unit.

No they're both pretty bad.

It was fun to use in the Mister Negative missions.

The colors are what drew me in. Seeing it in action made me realize how much I love costumes that are full of vibrant color and not dark muted like most costumes are nowadays, especially in live action capeshit.

Photo Mode screenshots and have the realization hit you that some JJJ podcasts require you to fail incredibly easy crimes which you would probably never do or fail them in specific ways at certain points so you may potentially need to replay the whole game just to have the 100% podcast list due to Demons crimes not showing up once you clear them. I think DLC allows you to have a second chance but I don't know if bus missions appear.

Yeah, these two are surprisingly really good. ASM Vol. 4 sucked (was still better than Vol. 3), and I can't bring myself to get interested in the new animated movie, but Insomniac did a great job integrating them into the game.

Judging by the stinger, it seems like the symbiote is at least either using Harry's emotions, or not inherently evil judging by what one can insinuate was an affectionate gesture. Honestly the story of PS4 was pretty decent for what it's worth and they at least played with expectations a little, even if Mr. Negative basically being written off after being bitchslapped by Doc Ock made me upset.

It was at the very least leagues above the sequel, which I still can't comprehend how they managed to fuck up. ASM1's graphics and effects were better, the audio was better, the combat, character animations, and feel of the city was better.

I still remember how disappointed I was when I got the suit power up that "summons spider-bro." I thought it meant that guy in your pic would show up and help. But instead it was just some stupid robot or something.

I can't put it past the game to make you like Spider-Man because it is damn good and a great version of the character, but if you don't like super heroes in general then probably not.
