Post wishes/hopes/dreams for the next Yakuza

>Limited inventory (at least on non-easy difficulties) so you can't just eat/chug dozens of healing items to beat bosses
>Interactive/branching heat actions
>Combat system is more contextual
>Fun ways to play with physics beyond just enemy ragdolls
>Day-night cycle
>Clothing customization, buffs on certain outfits
>Bigger Kamurocho, more areas to explore, hidden paths, returning areas like the underground mall
>Better environment graphics
>Substory NPCs that stick around throughout the course of the main story, you can't just knock out their story events one after the other

No Majima

Mo Majima

Yakuza but the gameplay is God Hand

You know they will just reuse whatever framework they had left in 6 right?
Don't expect too much, especially the physics shits.

The physics are great, and the combat is Judgement is vastly improved, and that was just the demo.

>finally evolve from a beat 'em up into a "character action game" or wateva dem shits called, tighten up the balance, introduce more enemy types, remove the ability to spam healing shit
>substories are no longer just some 5 minute long ebin comedic sketches but instead are actual quests with choices, consequences and some sort of influence on the game's world
>you don't have to go through slow ass clunky ass menus each time you want to access a mini game anymore, the UI is fast and fluid
that's all dreams though, I'll still enjoy the game if it's the same shit as judgement/kiwami 2

make this beast nigga get a haircut

I won't get my hopes up, but has the producer said something like this before?

>Given that the game is in the action adventure genre, I’d like to change the game drastically. We’ve tried changing things in past titles, though our audiences often claimed it to be “minor changes.” This time, we want our change to feel like an online game would become from version 1.0 to 2.0, not just another big patch. This process takes time.
>We releasedJudgment a little while ago, and that too was part of the experimentation for this change. The energy we’re pouring into this is on par with how hard we tried to make the first Yakuza. We’re looking forward to the day you can be surprised by that change.

it'll play and be like every other Yakuza game for the last 10+ years and the graphics will look two console generations behind.

>Limited inventory (at least on non-easy difficulties) so you can't just eat/chug dozens of healing items to beat bosses
then make the bosses less BS.

>hideouts are more fleshed out than just being a save point (add customization)
>able to change costumes in regular game play
>more gameplay hub locations. aren't necessarily main story relevant but have cool/worthwhile shit in them
>make standard enemies more aggressive in combat
>bring disco back

>dude lmao he has same outfit as kiryu but the colors are just inversed xD

>better combat system
>non BS bosses
>more mature story
>focus on the Yakuza
>minigames with more rewarding depth and with their own substories
>no "killing is wrong/i never killed anyone" bullshit
>customization in visual and combat( just copy godhand)
>no Haruka 2.0
>make the city more alive and explorable
>let me have my own Yakuza Family/Clan, make it customizable and part of the main story

why does kiryu look so cartoony compared to everyone else in the game? I'm playing 0 right now and scenes with him and any of the Yakuza captains like kuze and shibusawa look so weird.

Because Kiryu was designed on his own back in the PS2 days, while newer characters are 1:1 recreations of real actors, with their voices and everything.

Why is Kiryu black now?

>oy vey goyim it's just a coincidence you see

He doesn't look that cartoony, he just looks like an Italian American

He has that frizzy island hair that wouldn't look good short. The wild blow out is the most aesthetic look for that dry hair type.

>no majima or older yakuza characters until the sequels. let them focus entirely on new characters for this game.
>styles return (don't need to worry about this since they returned in judgment)
>have an rpg like minigame similar to the april fools video
>another location to explore alongside kamurocho (preferably something new instead of sotenbori, or onomichi)
nothing else aside from that really.
judgment made good improvements to the dragon engine, so i'm looking forward to this.

>Haruka getting creampied by that chinese guy gets shown with no censorship in a Reminisce cutscene.

thoughts on these early ichis?
i'm glad they went with the frizzy messy hair instead of a curly fro

How are the Yakuza games? I was considering getting into them.

each one of them has their own problems, but they're all good fun, even the weaker ones.
as for where you can start, you can either jump into the first game and play them in release order, or start with 0 and play in the order of 0 > K1 > K2 > 3 > 4 > 5 > 6.

>Take improvements Judgment is making like sliding over/under enemies, running on walls, and the change to the d-pad stuff for healing but limit the healing only to the items available on the d-pad like in the Amon fight.
>Expand Kamurocho even more than what they're doing with Judgment, maybe even expand a bit outward.
>Give us a new city to also visit that isn't just Sotenbori or another one they've already used.
>Bring back the underground mall and the rooftops.
>Do the two style thing Judgment is doing but have two more styles you can unlock and allow you to swap them so you can use two at a time however you set it up.
>Add more of the alleyway things 6 was doing.
>More multi-tiered buildings you can explore.
>Allow changing your outfit without needing to go into Premium Adventure like in BP2 and FotNS.
>Yagami cameo if you have Judgment save data where he bumps into Ichiban and they solve a case together.

>no majima or older yakuza characters until the sequels. let them focus entirely on new characters for this game.
There's no way this is happening because of what the prologue said. He's for sure meeting Daigo at the very least because the Tojo lost Kamurocho to the Omi and he needs to figure out what happened to his Family. There's no way that his Family disappearing isn't tied to the whole event. I would be surprised if he doesn't meet him or The Florist, even Tatsuya is friends with The Florist.

>>Yagami cameo if you have Judgment save data where he bumps into Ichiban and they solve a case together.
that would be the dopest shit, though i hope they could handle it in a way that doesn't feel forced.
>The Florist
actually not against him being in this, since we've not seen the guy since 5.

It'll depend on where and how I could find them, but I'll probably start with 0 and work from there.

Why is he black

how is that black?

Make at least three Yakuza games that's entirely about Akiyama and his secretary voiced by Haruhi running around in Japan and having adventures and being friends with benefits.
