Never played the Witcher and I don't intend to, Spec Ops was way too preachy and forced (on top of being a mediocre shooter), and I didn't think Bioshock was that far up its own asshole the same way leftist progressivism currently is. In fact, it seemed to me that Bioshock shat on several different political ideologies, and didn't overtly *promote* one over the other (otherwise it would become propagandistic, which is also important to understand).
MGS goes as far as to break up moments of seriousness with literal toilet humor, and over-the-top action scenes. It's an extremely idiosyncratic series that's hard to put a definitive label on, and more importantly, it is memorable not because of "nukes r bad yo", but for its presentation, music, and GAMEPLAY, as well as themes it touches upon that go way deeper than just fucking politics. It's a secondary element at best, but SJW evangelicals fail to realize that because they're so obsessed with spreading a message.

Take GTA San Andreas for example, that game works because CJ's race is of pivotal importance to multiple plot threads running throughout the game and many character interactions. To use a video game as an example, Morrowind is full of dark elves. The setting is build entirely to support this. Nobody complains about most NPCs being dark elves in Morrowind.
The problem has never been politics being in games itself but rather how it's implemented. In Metal Gear, Bioshock and such games, the politics are a part of the game, intertwined to build up the world and story without necessarily spelling it all out for you or making it all black and white.
Nowadays, a lot of "Politics" in games are shallow and overt, in your face without contributing to the game and story. It's just an addon, shoved into the game to score political points with a dying group of entitled faggots.

It's technically possible, there's plenty of white expats in Africa (my sister is one). However, if you're just never going to adress why it's an all white cast in Africa, everyone will agree it's stupid. Even if you adress it, but poorly (yeah they're all expats that coincidentally all work together), it's still stupid. Deadfire had a lot of writing problems but one of the things that actually made sense and wasn't token or shoehorned was how all the humans who live near the ocean are black. Because that's how the setting works. This was already established previously.

In the intro both politics and religion were criticized equally and i guess this blinded me or something because i only focused in the game plot, lore and characters and didn't absorbed anything political from it. I thought you go to the hunter because he knows where the Griffin is, you guys run into some corpses, in which he mentions he knew one of them before he got kicked out of the village. You can ask him why, which leads him to say he's a freak, so you get yet another dialogue option pushing him on the topic, leading Geralt to go "Ah fuck man lycanthropy isn't that hard a curse to break, I got you" and the guy stops Geralt and THEN mention he got kicked out for getting caught being a fag, causing the Lord's son to kill himself. From there you're given the option to give a half assed apology or awkwardly ignore he said anything and tell them to continue on with the quest. Still is sympathetic toward him being gay, but still partially played for humor and it's not nearly as half assed political statement as say the six or seven times you got Geralt advocating for female equality.
But it is nothing? It's absolutely, zero, nothing. I've played this specific game for 100+ hours and that tiny, tiny insignificant NPC was completely irrelevant and in no way important in any way whatsoever.
Was it bad? Sure, but if this is the only example you have, it's a fucking dumb one. Can you imagine being bothered by roughly 30 seconds of dialogue? It boggles my freaking mind.

There's also tons of movies on feudal Japan, which is shockingly predominantly asian. The Last Samurai is a perfect example, because the white guy is out of place, but it's a key point in the plot (and based on reality).
