This. I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Go back to normal warband. Vanilla, no mods, nothing. Try and complete a campaign of it, see how long until you realise you're fucking bored.
When this game releases, it will be doing so to Early Access. Many of the features that we're all excited about most likely won't be in the game. The game will run like shit. The game will be buggy as shit. The game will be dumbed down. The MP won't be finished.
The old friend groups/guilds/regiments/clans/etc from native or its modules will try to move over but will inevitably split up and dissolve, and by the time it finally fucking releases in a finished state you won't find it as fun. It will no longer run on potatoes so there goes one of the main appeals of the game for many.
Nobody cares. It's like Half Life 3 except it doesn't deserve all the hype surrounding it. Literally an "its okay when TW do it!!!" and I can't wait for it to hit a big fat MIXED on steam when the buyer's remorse kicks in.

Have you gone back and played Half-Life 2? It's the most boring shit imaginable. Mount and Blade still offers something you won't find elsewhere.

It's really not. It's a pretty decent FPS game albeit with graphics that aged like milk.
Vanilla warband however is one of the worst grinds imaginable. The game stops being difficult after a certain point that's VERY early in the game and all of a sudden it's just grinding to get the next castle, the next town, etc, with nothing to stop you snowballing. Shit sucks. Only mods make Warband playable anymore and they won't be with BL for a long time.
