Why?

Why what?

Single argentina guy, make over $2 millons dollar with a single project.

Yea Forums BTFO

Over $3 million*

>How does money work.
I too user, am yet to figure this out.

>meanwhile retards who make shitty games like YIIKes claim that indiedev can't make money

>argentina
he can live like a king in that country with that money, right?

Didn't the YIIK guy just say that games aren't art?

Why do games on Steam need publishers? Valve ARE the publisher.

They handle shit beyond just the game on steam. But you can indeed put a game on steam just on your own.

Yes.

Until his family get kidnapped and ransomed back to him piece by piece.

With 2 million dollars you could retire just about anywhere in the world that's not a major cockroach filled shit pot of a major city.

Think it would have been allowed on EGS?

No idea.

What are the others?

Guy must have had some pretty tight connections in the gaming journalism cabal.

Why do you think that?

I love how he said the "loop" of his game is 20 hours long and after that it becomes too easy.
I finished all I wanted in 10 hours.

Is it a good game?

this

south americans don't joke around

Yes. Could be better.

it's barebone

redpill me on this game

>small indie pixel game from a noname argentinian
lmao no

It's good but not as good as it could be.

It tries to be like Factorio, Stardew Valley and some kind of open world survival game, but doesn't have bare minimum which made those game good.

How is it trying to be even remotely like factorio?

Bump

it's a clicker but you actually move. Game is good but only once, there's no replayability at all

Bump

craft tree and tech unlocked by levels. + the drones late game

>literally stolen assets
no, seriously, how did he get away with it?

Proof?

Having a craft tree doesn't make something like factorio. Plenty of games have craft trees. What makes factorio factorio is the automation. And the automation in Forager is pitiful. Even with all the skills, you're still babysitting all the crafting machines

>unknown indie clicker game that costs 25 dollars sold 150 thousand copies
shit epicbros we got a bit too cocky

Zero replayability but decently fun the first time through, though you'll probably give up at the last tier of crafting because by then you've already bought all the islands and crafting the stuff in that last tier is a massive pain in the ass when you have nothing to use it on.

what the fuck is a clicker game

Bump

Look up "Clicker Heroes" or "Cookie Clicker", those are clicker games.

They bill Forager as a clicker, but it isn't. 100%d the game in 30 hours but I play games slow as fuck. I think it was worth the dosh though, it was fun.
