It better be damn good to make up for P5 not coming to the Switch.
It better be damn good to make up for P5 not coming to the Switch
It'll be better, as always.
>to make up for P5 not coming to the Switch
This assumes that P5 is good. Have you played it? Or any other SMT, for instance? Fucking OP.
>Nu-sona fans go into SMTV expecting Persona: Switch Edition
Honestly, I can't fucking wait for the whining.
were you not around when smt4 released?
i'll trade you p5r for smtv
I'm playing SMT1 right now and I gotta tell ya, it's finally starting to get to me how bad the demon encounter rate and the mapper spell are.
>mfw exploring a bit of Ginza and opening up the auto mapper
Even a mediocre SMT game is better than any Persona game.
I don't give a fuck about consolewar faggotry, I don't own a Switch, I just want a good game.
they're co-developing it with Koei Tecmo so it's guaranteed it'll be a masterpiece
H A U N T E D
A S S
sorry, if you're a personafaggot you won't like it. it's an acquired taste
Persona wasn't nearly as popular when 4 released as it is now.
this, it's going to be 10x as worse. reviewers will call it the sekiro of persona instead of the dark souls like they did at 4
>SMT after SMT4 and 4A
They already proved they can't make a good SMT anymore. You can keep it.
At least with Persona you know you're getting a weebshit game.
The fucking hwat now?
Modern SMT is pretty bad desu
Man going from smt to persona makes me realize why there's so much contention between the fanbases, recruiting and fusing demons is such ass in p3f.
I didn't realize the core gameplay would be so different.
Not to talk about the fucking dungeon.
SMT V must be very close if they don't want to port Persona 5 on the Switch. Probably early 2020 release.
>mfw Atlus/Sega decides to make it multiplat and release it on PS4/PS5/Nextbox and PC
this but unironically.
the only good Shin Megami games were I,II, if... on the SNES and the Digital Devil Saga/Nocturne on PS2
Someone show him the 3DS cover with the reviews.
>Atlus
>releasing games on PC
user...
Isn't SMT the japanese name for persona? Does the western release have differences?
I get the joke but I'm curious about it.
megami tensei is the franchise as a whole
most of the megami tensei games people care about are shin megami tensei games
persona is a megami tensei spinoff
the subtitle shin megami tensei was added to the western releases of some persona games for marketing purposes
4A was one of the best ones though
Cope.
I didn't know it was a different game. I've been living with a lie for years.
Here's a handy thing.
>if... on the SNES
typical EOP who hasn't played the games he parrots about. if is shit
Here
>implying sega won't cuck atlus after seeing their financial report
I ended up enjoying the two SMTIV games more than P5. I liked P5 a lot too though but it didn't quite stick with me like P3 and 4 did for some reason.
Atlus has full autonomy. If SEGA could do things, they'd be doing it already considering Nagoshi himself is on the Board of directors of Atlus as well yet still ATLUS functions by its own rules.
Atlus employees love their freedom too much and if SEGA starts putting mandates on them, they'll just leave.
LOVING
EVERY
LAUGH
SMT is always superior to Persona, only sony-only fanboys tell otherwise because they got cucked out of SMT.
>The Darksouls of Persona
Please tell me this is a ruse.
Nope
>we will never get a SMT Mystery Dungeon game
Fuck, it’d work so well too.
>The Dark Souls of fantasy RPGs
But... Dark Souls is a fantasy RPG?
atleast some of them are reasonably valid complaints.
Can't wait for SMT V to be THE SEKIRO OF PERSONA 5.
>an ost that is easily forgotten as a standalone piece
yeah that triggers me too since SMT IV has one of the best OSTs ever made for a videogame
I jam Tokyo every now and then, what the fuck?
Blame Atlus/Sega and their marketing, it's reallt quite easy to get confused if you've never played these games. There's so many spinoff series.
