As much as I would like to say it is just to stick it to these radical left-wing journalists who hate white men, it just isn't very good. It's as generic as open world games get, and the game looks worse than Infamous: Second Son since it doesn't use an engine optimized for Sony consoles. Rent it from Red Box and test it out before you commit to buying it.

The only people saying no are weebs and console warriors. The game is good, theres a reason the user score is sitting so much higher than the critics. If you enjoyed RDR2 or Last of Us then you'll probably like this game. Motorcycle, melee, gunplay, gore, physics, atmosphere, graphics and writing are all above average. The biggest problems are a lack of polish and after 40 hours the side content gets repetitive. It's an 8.5 for me

Nah, it looks like any decent 3rd party game, but it doesn't look like a Sony first party game. The pop-in is terrible, the world is completely static, and the game stutters a lot.
