I can buy this RTX 2070 for €539 in my country.
I would of course rather have a 2080 but they start at €800 and an 2080ti is out of the question for me.
Is it good enough for gaming at 4K these days?

Tell me what game you are going to play on 4k thats actually fun.

everything? I even play old games such as hl2 on 4k
buy a ps4 or xbox one, pc gaming is fucked
Why?
1. 2070 is overpriced for it's spec. 1080 is much better deal, 1070 is also decent for low price/perf
2. 4K gaming, even on good cards, suffers with most cards, even 2080's to an extent. The big sacrifice you'll be making is framerates. A 2070 will do 4k, but for a modern title, don't expect higher than 60 FPS (not a huge deal if your monitor is only 60hz at 4K, but if you spilled tons of shekels on a gaming 4k monitor or something, a 2070 will NOT push you past the 60hz mark)

You mean ACTUAL 2160p, or the totally-NOT "4K" of 144hz? I also assume you only got 60hz screen?
Yeah, it will work just fine.
I'm still playing at 1920x1200 (16:10), and my 6gb GTX 1060 gets the job done without any issues.
mate a 2080 is almost twice as expensive. Youre telling me a 2080 is 2x as fast as a 2070? they both have 8gb of gddr6
VRAM doesn't mean dick once you hit 8GB, even a faster standard of VRAM won't make a whole lot of difference. A GPU is just a big ugly processor, it's the cores that mater
and a 2080 has double the cores of a 2070?

wtf are you on about?
derp, meant 1440p.
I think cards with 'R' in the name are shit and/or overpriced
this
fall for the ultrawide meme instead
i dont know what country you are in but the GTX are also expensive as fuck here, 1080ti costs almsot more than a 2080
>4gb 2080
lmao nigga you got ripped off
Honey Select?
Speccy hasn't been updated since 2016. It can't recognize
>most DDR4 sticks
>8th and 9th gen Intel CPUs
>VRAM over 4GB
>NVME SSDs
>Accurate AMD CPU temps
It's shit and everyone should stop using it.
as if anyone can honestly tell a goddamned difference between 1440p and 4k. i can sense those fucking frame rate drops though.
