i like the playstation dualshock the best. great for fighting games man.

360 and Saturn d-pads

>360
What the fuck

Saturn
Wii Classic
Wii U Pro
Most Hori pads
Switch Pro is close but inexplicably mushy and diagonals are iffy.

>Wii Classic
This. somehow, although it looks the same as the wiimote dpad, the classic controller dpad is miles better.

Fuck you, I lost a finger to that

The DS1-3. I don't like the DS4's as much for some reason.

Easily in the running for best dpad.

Wii u gamepad

But every D-Pad has that

Laugh. Point and laugh at the Sega boomer.

none. but everyone in here will meme dualshock or saturn becsuse it's fun to be contrarian.

Unironically the 360 D-Pad, every other one has my thumb getting sore after two minutes of playing, I never had that with the 360 controller.

PlayStation.

t. Guy that actually plays games that uses d-pads

...

any dualshock. snes, like 95% of dpads are garbage for anything that requires fast eight directions

The 360 controller is probably the best controller I've used. I've got a wired one that I use on my laptop, I use it for emulating all sorts of games. It's a bit awkward for playing Ocarina of Time on an N64 emulator (I've got the d-pad mapped to the C-buttons, which means I have to reach over to the left side of the controller with my right hand to use C items, which is awkward, but I found that the right thumbstick didn't work very well for C items, since you're trying to use an analog control for digital buttons, and it just doesn't work well), but then again I think any modern USB controller would be, because the N64 controller's design was so weird and no modern controller has the same button layout.

But yeah, apart from that small issue, which of course isn't the fault of the 360 controller at all, it's a great controller.

it's true, there isn't even a debate. you would know though, if you weren't an exclusive Nintendicksucker like so many ITT.

it goes like this:

1. Saturn d-pad
2. SNES d-pad
3. Vita d-pad
4. DS4 d-pad
5. get a fucking arcade stick already, you pathetic poorfag
Bonus mention: Hori Fighting Commander (revision)

Anything that doesn't require me to put my shirt over it to not make me get blisters.

And yet it has one of the worst D-pads.

Nope

Sony should copy and paste this design on every controller!

Have you played any 2D platformers or fighting games with it?

Best Dpad ever. MVC3 on this thing was God Tier

Switch pro

How can anyone defends the 360 d-pad? That thing is shit as fuck. The best ones are the Sega Saturn (best controller ever created to play fighting games), PS Vita and the Wii U Pro Controller.

>How can anyone defends the 360 d-pad? That thing is shit as fuck.
Stop repeating the things others have told you. The 360 pad is fine.

I had a 360 you retard, games like SFIV and KoF XIII were almost unplayble in that trash d-pad.

This is only good for fighters lol.

>clickyty click click click

Yeah no thanks.

the genesis dpad were great, especially the 6 button genesis pad

Nah, Only the ds4 was ever decent in that regard. Everything else was hot shit.

Stop being autistic, user.

He's right though

Having actually owned one of these damn things, you faggots with your little girl hands are full of shit.
The pad and buttons are tiny as fuck, and the sticks are too fucking close to the buttons, ruining the experience because there's now always a chance for accidental inputs by bumping into the sticks.

I wish the switch had a dpad. It sucks that it already has several fantastic platformers but they need to be played with analogue sticks. Those clicky buttons don't feel right.

>psp

I just use the Pokken controller.

Does it work well for other games? I assumed it wouldn't be picked up since it lacks several buttons and the sticks. I'd grab it for 2d platformers.

The only buttons it lacks are the stick clicks. ZL/ZR are awkwardly placed, but I haven't experienced any platformers that use those and not the normal L/R buttons. I only use it for 2D games.

Why the fuck do everyone like the dpad on this shit? Is there a meme that I'm missing or something? Nobody unironically likes the small ass dpad right?

>Switch Pro is close except for these reasons that make it objectively shit
Nah.

>Hurr durr my fingers are so fat that I can't fucking press a button
Stop eating fat fuck

>I have no counterargument so I'll just call him fat
Typical.
