Postal 2

You posted it. Seriously.

BOTW is the goat

Undertale, Minecraft and DMC5 are most definitely up there, but Yea Forums will deny it because they have an autistic obsession with their tastes seeming "mature" and/or "respectable".

If I go by total playtime for me, anarchy online. I probably put in over 2 years of rl time playing it between 2002 and 2007.

That's incredibly sad.

OOT and Dark Souls 1

Still Ocarina of Time
Best balance of serious business and light hearted fun. Good controls, good weapons, best girls, good story.
The toon link games are shit and should never have been accepted. Only people born after 1995 think the toon link games are good.
I think Twilight Princess is good, but I can see why people thought it was grimdark, yet the same people like Majora more, despite Majora being much more dark.
I really liked the fact that Zelda doesn't really play a major role/goal and that Zelda actually lives up to her title and responsibilities in the game. I like how for once the Zelda and Link must be together relationship isn't forced. Zelda is royalty and a leader, Link is a peasant turned hero serving his Kingdom.
Zelda 1 just has that feel.
Zelda 2 is okay, just doesn't feel like a Zelda game.
ALttP is over-rated but good. I hate the controls and I don't understand Pink haired link.
Link's Awakening is a fun jaunt.
As are the Oracles.

BotW is good, but I don't like that they kept going cel-shaded direction, but it definitely looked better than Skyward Sword. I say the biggest let down of BotW is how god damn empty and short it is. Yes, the shrines turn it into a long game, but the shrines provide zero story. And the story is short. Yet they gave the game so many areas that you just want to hear the story of.
I want to know about the Dragon/Turtle temple in the Faron woods.
I want to know how the Gerudo warrior ended up somewhere else and how its sword ended up on the mountain.
I want to know about the parade grounds and the Colosseum.
If they released DLC missions and backstories that'd be great, but no the game is dead. And the only thing to do now is uncover treasure chests.
I also loved, but was pissed about the enemies. I loved how they brought back a lot of old enemies. But the fact that in the end all it most of the time was lizalfos, moblins, bokoblins, and stalfos versions of them was lame.

No but it's a great game

>what do you think is the GOAT?
That's not Gothic 2.

Also, they made bokoblins, moblins and hinox's all pig monsters.
Bokoblins are supposed to be orc/goblins, moblins are supposed to be bulldogs or pig moblins, and hinoxes are supposed to be muscular cyclopes.

Skyward Sword was awful. Painfully rushed and unfinished. Looked like shit, and was made to be the progenitor of all Zelda games and thus fucked up stuff in doing so.
They made Hylia more important than Din, Nayru, and Farore. Yet in all the other games, obviously Hylia is never hinted at or mentioned, but the Goddesses are.
It was crappy for it to just be
>Oh Link is the re-incarnated hero from a war no one remembers. Zelda is an incarnated and further re-incarnated Goddess that has never been mentioned. Ganondorf is incarnated and further re-incarted demon god that has never been mentioned.
Also the wartime Hyrule is even further advance than the other zelda games. Robots? In a Zelda game? Fuck you.
Then, despite Hyrule always being medival Europe for the most part (Sheika are ninjas, Gorons are africans, Zora are Asian, Gerudo are arabs) they introduce these dragons that are all asian in kimonos.

Skyward Sword further fucks up BotW with them still making Hylia the focus of the religion.

I can understand Hylia being important in SS, because she would be the most recent. And maybe she would be forgotten when the Hylians returned to the ground, thus making all the games without her makes sense. But then BotW focused on Hylia too.
Bullshit.

BotW. It's the only game that has gotten open world right so far, that's why I can't wait for the next Zelda that won't be held back by the Wii U

Doodle Jump.

>gotten open world right so far
Wrong
See

Skyrim from a while back

Tetris. Not my favorite, but Tetris is literally the perfect game, and the only perfect game.

Every other answer is objectively incorrect, long live the king.
