Have Diablo, 3D Mario, 2D Mairo, Zelda, Hyrule Warriors, Donkey Kong, Smash and Monster Hunter

No idea what to play, I have a 2 12 hour shifts htis weekend with like... 10 minutes of work in them.

What would take about 24 hours to complete? I've only really played Smash and Diablo and holding out on the latter until the new season kicks in

Also buy Dead Cells, it's fucking amazin.

I've actually been playing alot of the NES games.

i have cuphead, hollow knight, octopath traveler, ssbu, botw, and mk8. I've completed HK 112% only, and i don't know what to play. I just want to buy games but i don't feel motivated to play them. The fuck is wrong with me?

Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon
he's so cute

i found DC very short. i finished it in 3 days

a few months ago I dropped xenoshit dirty dicks 2 at about begging of chapter 5. thinking about getting back into it. does it get better?

Attached: 1555582633686.png (1240x1754, 1.11M)

same here. i have like 12 tittles and the only shid y play is stardew valley

Any good cheap games on the store that are somewhat unknown?

DK:TF. I’m going for 200%.

finally snagged katana zero. Having a blast with this little number.
Gonna get back to FF7 this weekend and maybe some stardew

12 hour shifts are cozy as fuck, I do them all time doing security. when I'm at work I like to play stuff like Shovel Knight or shantae but I've really been digging into dragon's dogma as of late.

Anyone have Sky Rogue? Wondering if it's worth buying while it's still on sale.

Attached: tumblr_p7t3tb3kdV1tifoaeo1_r2_640.gif (560x240, 2.93M)

Kamiko is pretty good for $5

Just started playing Rocket League again, had it since launch. Reccomend me a good game anons

Just ordered Rayman Legends and Megaman 11 yesterday, probably way late to the party on these two, and I'm not sure what I'm getting into with Megaman, but I'm pretty excited to have the two games regardless
Recently played Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, and Yoku's Island Express. Both great games in their own right, and I'd definitely recommend both, especially Yoku with how unique it's main gimmick is with the pinball mechanics

Ordered smash, mario kart and bayonetta 2. Thinking of getting used copies of rayman legends, la noire, doom, second south park game cause i never finished them.
Is dark souls good to play on a handheld? Never really liked dark souls and didn’t like bloodborne that much, so you guys feel better playing it on a handheld? I don’t like mh world that much on pc for instance, just prefer the handheld games mostly.

Attached: C9164D51-3DB9-4B8F-A59F-4EE1FB4CB071.jpg (2592x1936, 1.43M)

I’m thinking of buying either ffxii or xenoblade 2. Which one to get? Gameplay seems like mmorpg in both games, the only ff game i’ve finished is ff tactics and i loved the first xenoblade game. All the anime cliches and dialogue is kinda too cringey for me, which game is actually closer to xenoblade 1 in terms of atmosphere?

Bump

Been playing Cuphead in short spurts, it's not as hard as I was lead to believe and I gotta make it last until I find something else to play. Aside from that it's just the occasional Smash session and trying to stomach Ace Attorney trilogy's 2-3.

Attached: asdfs.jpg (1122x2072, 857K)

Anytime now...
At least i have Daemon x Machina, Astral Chain and Fire Emblem to look forward to

Attached: 1549253885826.jpg (1280x720, 102K)

I picked up Dandara because I love metroidvanias, but it’s really boring

If you don’t like it at chapter 5 you simply won’t like it

Did you guys not play ace attorney before or what? Switch seems like a nice console for someone who never played games before, i don’t have a wii u i but man, except mario odyssey or xenoblade and maybe smash and splatoon for someone who likes the same shit, is there anything worth buying that console for?

do they love mario in russia as much as I do?
is mario everyones best friend

Anything decent on sale atm other than disgaea 5?

Old ports at full price.
Old ports at full price.

I played the AA trilogy 10+ years ago so I have forgotten a good chunk of the story/trials/characters. And while the rest of the trilogy is fantastic, the fucking circus turnabout is just not fun, at all. They really should have let all chapters be playable at the start.

>Did you guys not play ace attorney before or what?
To be fair, its a 14 years old game

Attached: 1554290007599.jpg (1273x720, 113K)

Are you from Russia? People know marko is but hardly anyone cares. Usually it’s zoomers and retards who unironically think that they can only play “serious games” that dislike mario. I have bydlo gopnik friends who just drink and get into fights or watch football and they like to play mario or similar shit when i brought up a switch or just play some old emulators on pc.

Picross S3
>comfy tier
Saints Row the Third
>its ok tier

That feel when no Persona 5. My girlfriend bought a Switch to play RPGs on our commute since we barely have time to do shit, but holy fuck there are no games on that hunk of junk.

i am not. I was just wondering.
pretty cool, though

Still, i think you can only play it once, it’s one of those kinda games. Too much useless dialogue options and similar stuff just to prolong game as well, feels like a chore getting through for the first time and even worse as a second playthrough (i tried played the first game cause i missed the last case with gant, but just downloaded the save at the end)

depends, if combat was the issue then not really. If story maybe

I'm tempted to get one but the only thing i can think I'd play are Smash and Tetris, and I'm not sure if I'm willing to Shell out 300 for a system with just two games I'd play. What else is there?

Well, we grew up with chinese nes copies in the 90s, so. I still played nes in the early 00s and lots of other people did, it’s kinda lame thinking back at it, but it were just weird times after the fall of ussr. Basically nes, genesis, ps1, ps2, gba were all part of the same gaming generation for me.

thats really interesting to learn. no joke.

No P5 sucks but there are still a bunch of RPGs out

Xenoblade 2
Octopath
FFX-X2
FFXII
World of FF
Tales of Vesperia
Ys 8
Disgaea 1 and 5

Then there's DQXI S, SMTV, and whatever Monolith is working on

You can play zenoblade 2. Both are too anime for my tastes. As i said, it’s good if you didn’t have wii u and skipped some old pc games.

>Replying to shitposters.

Attached: 1390689489634.jpg (2848x2136, 679K)

Any decent pure platformers other than Tropical Freeze/NSMB/crash? Everything else seems to have combat as a focus, I just want to run and jump through levels (preferably with an overworld like SMW and the three listed). I found freedom planet and sonic mania but unsure if they're any good.

Rayman - it has a demo too

>freedom planet and sonic mania
Both of those are great. Freedom Planet has a demo I think.

Rayman is basically run jump and hit, you can try that out if you missed it on consoles or pc.
I have dk but not sure if should switch to normal mode instead, i played country returns on easier mode but even that was harder than easy on tropcal freeze, somehow you don’t even instakill on karts or have to collect dk coins on one sitting, but maybe i prefer it that way.

Getting together with friends for Mario Kart and brass monkeys for my birthday. Switch has been great for get togethers so far.

Attached: 1554815157653.png (956x737, 759K)

sonic mania is fun and with plus you get more replay value

Agreed but somehow only two of my friends are into playing together, one is into hardcore stuff and other is into snipperclips like casual shit. And i play sometimes with my older bro when we meet up.
Overall most are either into online shit on pc or just play pubg like garbage on their phones, i feel like i’m in the wrong timeline. Sony wasn’t wrong when they stopped making exclusive two player stuff.

Dark Souls portable was the WORST idea. Why is there no pause button??? It doesn't even pause when you go to the home screen/dashboard. wtf you have to play this game at home and make sure no one is around. That's not fucking portable. Just lost 2 days worth of souls the other day and I need to take a break from it to see how I'm even supposed to get through the game with all these fucking distractions. You cannot get interrupted while playing this game or you will never beat it. Im ight have to trade it in. There's no fucking way man, not in my environment even at home with a bunch of elders who don't share my same love for games. I'm always getting interrupted to do dumb shit or answer stupid questions, and it's always whenever I'm at a pivotal moment or near-death in the game.

Attached: tenor.gif (498x267, 2.07M)

Thanks, I got Sonic to try. Rayman legends is great but I've already played it on pc/ps4/vita. Has anyone tried out God Wars? Tempted to grab it as well while it's on sale but it's still almost £30.

What if you put it in sleep mode? Aren’t all dark souls games like that? Never played anything besides bloodborne, not sure if dark souls is a good idea, i like mh in handhelds more than i like it on pc.

Mario Kart, Party and Smash Bros are all must-own for get togethers. Party only has four standard boards but it also has four for 2v2 co-op. It's way better than the last few mainline games, it's as good as the DS version.

Been mostly playing Darius Cozmic Collection and Psyvariar Delta. Would recommend them both, along with Bleed 2 and Blazing Star.

Attached: switch.jpg (1035x865, 442K)

Sleep mode works. You can also save and quit at any point- as long as you're not actively in a boss fight it'll drop you exactly where you were.

Because From are terrible programmers - even Blizzard fucking put in a pause option specifically for consoles.

Depends if your friends like board games. We barely finished anything playing a real boardgame.

>What if you put it in sleep mode?
Oh damn I didn't think to try that. The thing with Dark Souls on Switch is that they're advertisiing it as a portable game. But it;s like they still want you to treat it like a console game at home because they take away the pause button. The whole point of portable is being able to play on the go and stop whenever you need to because you probably have something else to do. I never played Dark Souls before so I don't understand why there's no pause. Fighting games are harder and they let you pause. I don't see why Dark Souls won't let you pause either. It's not making anything more difficult, just more retarded and tedious. Might as well get this on another console/pc so I can play in my room with better graphics.

No pause button isn't a huge issue. My main complaint with DS switch is that there's no "play offline" mode in the main menu. It means if you happen to move outside wifi range or pass by an open network it'll boot you back to the menu to reload in offline, and as soon as it detects a connection you'll be forced back again for it to initialise. You can activate flight mode, but then the game shouts at you to disable it with 3-4 pop-ups and you lose tabletop mode.

I wish Splatoon 2 wasn't so expensive.

Same boat here minus fire emblem, why did i have to get into SMT goddamn it

Sounds awful. Glad I dodged that bullet.

Celeste

I mean, it's a Nintendo game. They generally don't drop significantly in price unless they sell awfully. (example: Sin & Punishment 2, sadly.)

Attached: kick in the dick.jpg (664x523, 64K)

>no pause
Cause dark souls tries too much to be a hard game. Also, it’s a japanese thing like in jrpgs or handheld castlevanias, where you can make a quick save and return later.
In monster hunter gen ultimate itthe same shit, been fighting diablos and i just died while i was looking at the eshop. I never heard of such garbage what is the point of that
Jesus christ, i’ll probably skip dark souls then. What if you don’t have wi fi connection? Will it just start it offline?

Playing Dragon's Dogma right now, it's really fun.

The Messenger.

>Still no release date on Daemon X Machina
I need my mecha fix

Attached: 1433094041962.gif (300x200, 1.14M)

You're fine if there's no wifi connection within range. If you pass by an open network while the switch is searching you'll be forced back to menu. Unfortunately whoever ported it to switch has dropped the game so no more updates. It's such a minor thing to change but it really fucks with the experience. I got fucked over multiple times in my SL1 build since boss fights would take slightly longer than usual and a wifi issue would mean I'd need to start again. It happened as I had super smough down to 1/5th health.

>tfw most people drop it at 16bit

Played the demo. When the title has more letters than the game has frames per second, there went my enthusiasm.

They're faggots, when the late game opens up and becomes metroidvania, with a bunch of optional collecting, that's arguably the best part.

At least SRW T exists to tide us over until DXM

>I need my mecha fix
Buy a PS4 and play Border Break, then. It's f2p. It already blew Gundam Battle Operation 2 the fuck out.

I'm currently mostly playing through FFX. Basically just doing the story for this playthrough, and then I'm gonna finish DQ Builders and play AA3. Also working on Cuphead here and there.

playing a lot of stardew valley at the moment, very comfy game. also enjoying super mario party with my friends which is nice, I like the different dice blocks. though i’d recommend hollow knight, shantae, arms and megaman 11 as well. (i’m excluding very popular games like ssbu and whatever, everyone has those)

yeah i liked both parts equally i guess its just because they're thrown off since up until that point theres almost no back tracking and no map
shame

God wars is on sale. Worth £25?

Dark Souls is the same on console as it is on PC. The issue with Dark Souls on Switch is, that in order to fit the game onto the card, the devs absolutely butchered the audio quality. If you never liked dark souls before, the chances that you like it now with broken audio are really slim

This looks comfy. The eshop description says you can chill out and get a job to earn money, and take the game at your own pace. Is there any kind of time limit or restriction on how long you take? Can I play it like animal crossing and chip away at it daily?

Wtf, thanks a lot, mate!!! I just spend almost everything on food and pills, wow, i thought you were kidding.
Sorry..

Aw, well, that's fine, it sounds like you need the code more than I do, and I can probably get it later in my own.
Have fun with the game, man, I heard a lot of good things about it.

brotip: You can make these pictures without having anything highlighted if you screencap in handheld mode and use the touchscreen to scroll instead of the D-pad or analog sticks.

You are a good man

Good to know user, thanks.

Attached: 1392893070387.jpg (500x499, 105K)

You can also sort by things other than "last played." I roll with alphabetical. Learning about both these things took me longer than I'm willing to admit.

So I bought it when it came out, but haven't really got around to it. How is The Lost Child? Looks like it has to be paying homage to Devil Summoner in someway.

Importing Okami HD because Capcom didn't release the physical version in the West for whatever reason, how does it compare to the original PS2 version?

Attached: okami-hd.jpg (1500x1125, 258K)

>What are you playing
The "browse Yea Forums threads for lewd Smash stage dumps and play in arenas" game.
Honestly the most time I've put in a Smash game since Melee.

VA-11 Hall-A nsp is up somewhere?

I like sorting by time played. It's nice to have most frequently played games at the top, and new games at the bottom so you can visually distinguish which games you still need to play. I look forward to finally getting a folder system.

Personally I think the joycons feel horrible for dark souls, the buttons/triggers are way to small and the button layout is still mapped the same way as Xbox/PlayStation (so confirm is B for example). Plus the audio is compressed to shit and sounds awful.

If you didn’t like dark souls before it suddenly being portable won’t make it any better

Definitive version of the game. Runs well, sounds good, and the option of every previous input method for the brush. Stick, motion and touch. Touch is perfect since you don't need to hold a button, you can just reach out and draw on the screen and it'll transition automatically.

I'm wanting to get a new game to play in bed in handheld mode. Got my main choices narrowed down to:

Katana Zero
Hollow Knight
Blaster Master Zero 2
Chocobo Mystery Dungeon
Tales of Vesperia

Any recommendations or what to expect for them?

I'd be too wigged out by trying to find those "middle" games, somewhere between most and least-played, but I'm glad that works out for you. Makes sense. Agreed on the folder system.

Vesperia is probably the one I'd recommend the most out of those, but they're all good choices.

Hollow Knight is a great game, plays flawlessly in handheld, is relatively long, can be played in short bursts or long binges and is relatively cheap, can't go wrong with that

I’ve finished cuphead on normal and started it back up on expert. That game is great on Switch I’m surprised that here was no resolution downgrade and it’s just1080p docked or $20 handheld with a rock solid frame rate. What else have I been playing uh Tetris 99. Poorfag cant afford Puyo Tetris so I’m stuck with losing in the top 10 and not being able to hone my skills. Smash of course, I might jump back into Splatoon a little bit idk yet Mario Maker is coming up soon so I’m hype for that. I really Also wanna pick up saints row 3 because I’m fucking in love with that game and it’s coming out next week. Other than that idk. Finished and loved Yoshi just wish it had more post game stuff that wasn’t tedious, the level design is fantastic otherwise. Music was bad tho so definitely play it with other music.

How's the Switch for PS1 and DS emulation? My phone is fucking dying and I think it's time for a dedicated gadget for playing.

I saw someone talk about folder systems on consoles and while it's probably bullshit I wouldn't be surprised if there's an element of truth to it. Supposedly it benefits companies at launch to have no folder system as it makes the user's library look as large as possible (and as a result feel like the purchase was worthwhile, less immediate demand for first party content). Once the system's been out for a while they add folders to make it look like you have a smaller amount of games to incentivise spending more in the mid-to-late stages of the system. This happened with the PS4 and 3DS, and will probably happen with the switch too. Like I said, probably complete bullshit but I found it an interesting idea.

I've been replaying Xenoblade 2 since it's been over a year and all the DLC is finished.
Slow start and kind of cringe curve you have to get over at the start but it's still a great gane.

When is the DLC best to pick up? Post game or does it provide content throughout the story too?

Got BOXBOY + BOXGIRL today, can't wait to play comfy co-op.

I dropped it then actually. It wasn't metroidvania. I explored everything, it was backtracking and searching for very obvious portals to get through. Metroidvania implies you open up new paths constantly, find new things, this is a simple 2D platformer that later requires you to go back to something you already beat just to find a small additional room or two. Got tired half-way through, which is sad, since I really liked the idea and the writing was pretty fine.

literally nothing has held my attention past 30 hours on the switch. not smash not monster hunter not hyrule warriors. fuck console gaming

How far did you get in MH?

Or, simply, fuck you for having shit taste.

The Messenger's an okay 8 bit platformer but a fucking SHIT Metroidvania, and I say that as someone who prefers Metroidvanias to platformers.

Got Diablo 3 for my bday last week. Was abroad so without internet. Tried the monk playing offline and wasn't having fun. Tried again yesterday with the season mode now available to me. I also made aa necromancer and am now having way more fun. Corpse explosion is fucking great.

Shantae

Been "playing" Dragon's Dogma. I appreciate them making the character creator options be presets but holy shit even this is still killing me by activating my autism. Doesn't help that female characters also shares the male model's animations as well. I don't even know how some people can even stomach loli characters without seeing nothing but a grown woman's head on a she-goblin's body. But I think I finally made a decent looking tomboy and just called it a day.

Also would recommend Dead Cells, great little game for dropping in and out. Most of the indie titles seems to be good for the switch. Except for those pretentious ones.

I can't just wrap my head around the concept around people calling monk not fun. Do you not enjoy punching enemies into chunks that explodes into more chunks? Do you not enjoy fisting a boss till it just fucking dies while you take no damage? Are you not entertained?

Christ you pretty much picked everything I have so all of them? Though if we are being very precise about maximum comfy gaming then RPGs. So Vesperia and Chocobo.

Also, I hope that you lads are rockin' one of these.

Attached: 61VZmsraX2L._SX466_.jpg (466x466, 12K)

Which Megami Tensei games have you played so far?

I'm just kinda wary since it's a port of the iOS version and that was one hot garbage.

>clip to bedside table
>lie down face up with pro controller under covers
>maximum comfy achieved

Just beat The Missing (wish this game had more fanart) and now I'm playing the Torna expansion for XC2 until Pokemon, Astral Chain and Animal Crossing come out. The Missing is really good.

more like maximum bedsores achived

I got all the stuff I can really afford right now outside of Va-11 Hall-A and Okami.
Waiting for sales on Tropical Dong, Phoenix Wright Trilogy, Dragon's Dogma and FFX.
I hope they make a Switch version of Lethal League and Sonic Adventure 1+2.

Attached: 1547697796562.gif (300x248, 1.79M)

as far as physical releases go, this is a pretty good guide. if you're in a mood for a new game, just reference this pic and decide which game looks the most appealing to you. there's a lot of really good download only games I've been meaning to add to this list, like picross and baba is you.

Attached: switch.jpg (2135x2515, 2.63M)

I bought one for shits and giggles but man nothing have came close to the amount of comfy this set up have brought me.

dong freeze is fantastic, I'd recommend buying it first out of the games listed. I'm surprised it didn't get a ton of GOTY awards, it's at least as good as odyssey.

No one told you to stay in the bed the entire day gramps.

You're a nice user.

completely fucking forgot picross S3 came out recently. Im buying that shit right now.

>Phoenix Wright Trilogy
is this download only?

>Lethal League
Literally coming this month.

then it's not really playing games then, it's half-hearted.

>by SWERY
well shit now I gotta try it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

>dong freeze
don't bother, it's garbage

To be honest i probably didn't olay enough monk to get to the fun bit. Only just got past the skeleton king then stopped cos I wasn't having fun. With necro I was having a blast and blew my way through act 1.though I have noticed that in season mode I had more events and loot goblins and the like.

Did the same thing.
Definitely the best version and it's great having the physical copy to please my inner autism

The amazon page for this is pretty funny
>Kindly note that this item is suitable for viewing or reading only. It will shake quite a bit and make you uncomfortable if you need to touch or tap the device frequently. However it is inevitable due to some law of physics

Blaster Master 2 is fucking fantastic and deserves way more attention.

>tfw playing ff12 from the comfort of my bed

Sounds like a you problem, kiddo.
Try going back to playing candy crush or something. Got a feeling you might enjoy that more.

You're welcome. I bought on recommendation from a friend and was "What is this shit?" when I started but loved it by the end.

Playin' Picross S3
Of course, without assist.

You can tell it's by the chinaman when their shilling images have some poorly shooped over exaggerated scenario going on. Reminds me of all those fidget toys' pages.

What's a game I can play while watching TV? In otherwords, something I can mute and still have fun. Diablo is fine but is there anything else that doesn't need sound?

It's ok to have shit taste user. We're not mad at you.
Now you run along and play whatever it is your favourite lets player is playing, champ.

It honestly feels like it was made for the Switch.

Golf Story

I've been really enjoying Steamworld Quest, been scratching my JRPG and Deckbuilding itches

Attached: quest.png (1920x1080, 2.8M)

I’m on my third play through of stardew. Every time I’m in a phase of playing this game I make another farm

Playing Dark Souls in handheld mode. Almost broke the thing twice already.

Phoenix Wright at the moment. On the last case of the first game but goddamn is it dragging on - otherwise it's been great and I don't regret the pricetag. Gonna finally get round to Bayonetta 2 soon.

As for recs, not exactly obscure but I honestly think Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze is the best game on the system.

I'm playing Psycho Soldier. I love the music and the game is fun and sometimes hard. I had forgotten how much I loved arcade side-scrollers. Next I'm thinking of buying the SNK 40th Anniversary collection physical. I think it's worth and I will have a ton of old-school fun with it.

Been thinking about getting it. Wasn't a big fan of Steamworld Heist but I liked the main games so far.

How's Travis Strikes Again? I wanna get it, but reviews are mostly low. I know that doesn't mean it's bad, persay, but anyone here can vouch?

it's good if you like suda51 stuff, but don't go in expecting NMH3, it's mostly a completely different thing

Does the DLC really add to it, or is it no big deal?

Is Diablo 3 worth playing for someone who will only play solo? is it also a game that's fairly easy to understand?

Absolutely yes.
It's arguably worse online with others because hackers exist on the Switch - you can save the game to Switch and edit the save offline.

It's not too hard to get into. Most of the difficulty comes from theory crafting a build but most sites have recommended ones. The longevity comes from farming for said gear and playing Season mode - which is ending next week and an ew season will kick off in about 2 weeks so yes get it

just picked this up as well; not normally a fan of jrpg jank (menus/inventory) but seems decent so far

>he STILL hasn't hacked his Switch
You literally have no excuse.

I had fun with it

I can't do it without a physical mod and I tried it and failed

Persona 5 is better than Octopath, FFX-2, FFXII, World of FF, and Disgaea 1

DQ XI is equal to 5.

FFX is better but it's also very old.

where do I go to do this?

You need more games, then go all the way to the right.

do they have to be installed?

New steamworld game any good?

you need more than 12

>Persona 5 better than FFXII
No
>Persona 5 better than Disgaea 1
Eh, Disgaea 1 has better characters, but Persona 5 has faster gameplay. D1C does make the gameplay much faster though.
>Persona 5 is equal to DQXI
The additions of DQXIS make it a better game than Persona 5. DQ is pretty based because weebs fear it.

Dragon's Dogma is every bit as good as when I played it on PS3 and PC. This game really might be a singleplayer RPG masterpiece.

So how does one get comfy in bed while playing Switch (be it handheld, or just a controller when it's docked) but WITHOUT falling asleep?

>No.
FFXII is the worst game on that list so, yes, Persona 5 is better than FFXII.
>Eh, Disgaea 1 has better characters, but Persona 5 has faster gameplay. D1C does make the gameplay much faster though.
I like Disgaea 1 enough that I won't belabor the point. I prefer P5's story and characters but Disgaea 1 is a lot of fun and I can respect someone liking it more.
>The additions of DQXIS make it a better game than Persona 5. DQ is pretty based because weebs fear it.
I purposefully avoided listing games I've never played. I can't talk about DQXIS, and I may never play it considering I feel like I got everything I ever needed out of XI in the first game

Anyone tried wargroove? Used to like advance wars so was thinking of picking this up

Find an ideal pose that won't put you in sleep. Aka be in sitting position.

This, seconded.

It's great. Don't buy it if you want a story, but it's mechanically fantastic and the level builder will give you tons of content since you can download them from other players. People have recreated fire emblem scenarios as well if you're into them. The only issue is that the main story mode has very little story, and is basically a default level pack bundled in. Very solid though.

The story is shit. Replay value comes from the map editor and custom campaigns.

Thinking of getting Ys VIII. Played a few other Ys games on PC and liked them. Coming off of XBC2. Thoughts?

It's great but expensive compared to the others in the series. I'd honestly just recommend grabbing the other games in the series you haven't played on steam and get through those first. They're super cheap in the golden week sale atm. If you need to play specifically on switch then go for VIII. They're all similar in terms of quality so you're not necessarily getting a better game for the higher price.

Cuphead really isnt that hard. You just need patience. And try getting P rankings on all the run n gun levels and complete all the levels on expert to make it last. That's what I'm currently doing. I'm dreading the dice fight though. But the game is damn good. I'd give it a 10 if there weren't some parts that were RNG that quite frankly felt like bullshit. 9.5/10 game. I wish all indie games were this good

Does Stardew scratch the same itch as animal crossing? I want to get some kind of incremental relaxation game to keep me going til animal crossing's release, but I don't care too much about having to budget time and work towards deadlines. The energy system might end up being restrictive too if it's similar to harvest moon. Is it possible to play at my own pace?

King Dice fight is super easy because you can stockpile health and as long as you don't drop under 3 you can get the S.

It's a more lenient Harvest Moon
>plants don't die if you don't water them
>no one will steal your waifu as you try to win her over
>farm evaluation can be repeated

Most of the boss fights arent too difficult, but that boss is so long you end up choking on stupid shit and losing lives on easy parts.

Hi, I'm the shittiest fight in the game.

RNG?

The dragon and the bee was worse

Been playing FE:W lately, mainly grinding out the 10k kills on everyone's personal weapon. Was doing a Mario Odyssey minimum captures run before but I got stuck on the Broodle bot fight

It's still just three minibosses and then King Dice himself. It'll take you a couple of tries but it shouldn't be more than a handful.

Robot is far worse to S.

I wouldn't mind having a rival in feature in Rune Factory, I just want people to end up together and not remain alone forever. Maybe some matchmaking events or quests you can set would be nice in RF5

You'll get boss fights where they refuse to use parry attacks when you're dying for one just to get your A+/S rank, you'll get fights where they spam attacks that synergize so well it's almost impossible to dodge the attack (Cala Maria, Djimmi, the bee, and the train are notorious for this nonsense), you'll get enemies or attacks that fly in such a way that you can't really avoid them because the boss is winding up their own attack, etc.
Sometimes the game just screws you severely.

Lol just sold mine a couple days ago. Zero games and a monthly subscription to use your own internet lol

Does anyone here have experience with the secondary account thing and save files transfer?
I'm moving away next week but I want to leave my switch to my little brother and buy a new one after I settle in my new place. I was wondering if it's actually possible to keep playing the same playthroughs on the new switch

I wish Tomodachi Life would come to the Switch so I can give my Mii a cute girlfriend but I guess Go Vacation will do

Cringe

Playing Stardew Valley. It's a nice wind-down game.
That said, I am starting to get bored. Every day is pretty much the same.
Still waiting on A Hat In Time. I'd less annoyed if they keep people more updated.

Maybe look at the cloud saves stuff?

Been trying out some things with the headset and Zelda VR because I want to lay down and play the game with my arms at my side.
I want to enjoy it despite the 480p, but god damn do these goggles hurt when you strap them to your face. The plastic nose indentation just digs into the bridge of my nose a I feel like my eyes are gonna pop out of my head after about half an hour.

Pic related is what I did please excuse the ugly, ruined desk. Took a spare head strap from a cheap Gear VR headset for smart phones that was a gift from my mom because she thought I had a samsung galaxy phone for some reason. Good thing I never sell gifts from Mom, no matter how useless they are at first. I cut some slits on either side and voila. Next, I took the face cushion from that same Gear VR headset and super glued that bitch to the plastic around the lenses. Now the headset is plenty comfortable and and still fully functional with the other Labo stuff I like playing around with.

if you haven't played it on steam or ps4 yet; salt & sanctuary is a great souls-like 2d platformer, not sure on the price right now, haven't checked store in a minute, hawai'i internet ain't the best out here

dark souls for switch is awful, I'm an avid souls nerd since day one and I was so let down by this port. seriously just skip it

Is it worth it?

bought Disgea 5 on sale and preordered Guilty Gear.
These are the first games I bought since release.

I just bought it. Hope it's good, looks super comfy

There is so many games in this list that i didn't even know existed on the switch. Borrowing a bunch of them from the internet as we speak!

Check out the pokken controller if you don't already have an arcade stick. It's way more accurate and comfortable than using the default button dpad or analogue stick.

I just pre ordered Saints Row The Third like a retard, with my luck it will run like shit and I wasted my money.
But I desperately want a GTA style game to zone out on on Switch, Lego City Undercover is a good classic lego game but the open world just isn't the same.

Should I get Golf Story or Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime? Not really looking for anything particular just something new to play

Golf story out of those two. Maybe look into wargroove too if you don't already own it.

have sex

Golf Story is great even if you don't enjoy golf.

I'd hit my balls at her if you catch my drift.

I feel that, wish it was Saints Row 2 but can’t complain

this
From are lazy shitheads that cant into ports

source: dark souls for the pc is still broken as fuck AFTER YEARS and still requires a fan patch to get it working

Attached: EBIC.png (500x523, 14K)

I don't get it.

> le quirky souless indie pixel shit

Is MHGU worth it? I already played Generations so I was wondering if the extra content in Ultimate is worth the price.

just downloaded it and played a little

what a comfy game, thanks user

Got Moero Chronicle last night so I didn’t miss the sale. I’ll start it eventually.

Picross S3 looked p cool so I download e1-e6 on my hacked 3DS to see if I like enough before buying a switch version.

How’s the FFXII remaster? Worth $50?

Attached: BFFF786A-8690-41B6-8B21-BDF87111E68D.jpg (800x725, 110K)

>tfw Psyvariar Delta STILL hasn't gotten its ENG release
Is Darius Cozmic Collection worth it at $50 just for 4 games? I'm salty as hell that they locked out 5 games behind a $220 Limited Edition paywall.
