For me, Banjo and kazooie will be pretty cool for smash, but i think that there is some groups of few people who hate banjo.

It's just the "relevancy" idiots that seethe at the idea of people liking characters from old games, or niche games.

It's not even a Yea Forums problem, it's a universal Smash problem. On leddit and gamefaqs, the most disliked character at the time was always put on a pedastal for being the most relevant. They went from Isabelle to Incineroar to Piranha plant. On leddit, at one point Isabelle topped their popularity polls, but when Plant came out, she plummeted to the bottom because she was no longer "relevant".

I'm pretty sure there was a thread that was talking which game was better, Kazooie or Tooie. But I think that thread got ruined by Smashfags and their Rosterfaggotory

It's always like that. A few months ago, all the Dragon Quest and The World Ends With You threads and even the occasional Golden Sun threads would get raided by a bunch of the kids.

One time there was this massive Yea Forums poll that was meant to show the demographics on who wanted what in Smash. The difference was that they also included options of who you didn't want in Smash. While the "wants" were always big, the "not wants" were always abysmal, and the ones who topped those were usually memes like Rick from Rick and Morty. I remember K. Rool had like 15 votes for "not want in Smash", which really says a lot on the amount of people actually against a potential newcomer.

I'd love to have Banjo in smash. I own every game, but nuts and bolts (Never been an xbox guy) and revisit them every now and then. Banjo is special when compared to most 3rd parties for the simple fact that he was guaranteed a spot on the roster before he was sold off to Microsoft. Banjo's been wanted by many people since 64.

And to answer your other question, sort of. Discord Steves love swarming Banjo threads. It's easy to spot one and you can tell there are several (or just one) in this thread right now.

Look man, I love Banjo, I grew up with Kazooie and Tooie on N64 as a child, but I never once believed seriously that they ever had a chance, maybe during the Melee days but after Rare got bought I just learned to let go. The reason people hate Banjobros is because they think they're fucking entitled to something and obnoxiously flaunt everywhere, so of course they are going to earn the ire of everybody including ironic stevefags.
