it is a decent enough show but it shat the bed with season 3, everything they build up to that point came crashing down without survivors

explain this show to me and why the main character turns into a four-armed purple thing

Literally never watched anything past the first few episodes of the first season, what happened

>keep it alive through the whole quest/mission
>they thank you and go on their own path
>you meet them again later on in the game and they give you a reward for keeping them alive back then.
I like to keep them safe and like when they have a happy ending.
