Yikes ngmi

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stardust_the_Super_Wizard Way too powerful for a video game .

Godot

sounds cool, but how would that work?

Looks spooky. Hopefully you made that VHS filter togglable, it's a bit painful.

Absolutely user played a ridiculous amount of Tony Hawk growing up, this game looks right up my alley.

Where do I need to go?

Why is making games so much work

its unity

if you cant make tomorrow, there's a mailing list signup: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSedFMXnl0Bytq30vfiMv3XX-ysdcFwRcO9xFpQkFqa7HRVRAg/viewform

if you can do tomorrow (4:20pm PDT) you can hop on the discord: discord.gg/funktroniclabs

making games is so much work so the pay off is more rewarding. once you get a good idea, it's good to write down all the different aspects you will need to work on.

if you make a big list, things like the intro, enemies, weapons, etc, then you will be less likely to get burnt out, as once you start getting tired of making one part of the game, you can put it on the back burner and have fun with something else

wow, very pretty user- great job! is this a solo project?

i was prototyping solo for quite a long time, but most of the studio is now on the project with me

im the lead software dev i guess, i did the water physics, most of the gameplay physics, and a lot of networking

I have always wanted to make a skate game, but I don't know how to do ramps. how the fuck do you make the boat go up the ramp straight into the air without it flying in the wrong direction?

the trick is everything is spheres under the hood. no complex collision on boats or characters. no friction + smooth normals on concave mesh colliders = predictable results.

my dude fuck yeah do you have an itch page or some way to sign up for a test

see

We're gonna see this meme in everything that pertains to Epic Games for the rest of time, aren't we?

as long as you chinks keep shilling these threads

if it was them wouldnt it be unreal only?

looks cozy user what do you plan on adding?

Best engine/software for making visual novels?

Just updated my Godot game for AGDG demo day. You do have a demo, don't you?

Attached: Alphaman_Highway_Stage.png (1080x810, 35K)

if iw wasnt then it would have unreal at all
literally no one uses that shit

a lot of people on itch using renpy

Which engine did you change to?

unity desu

I hate to break it to you, but unreal engine is pretty darn popular.

I was gonna add more weapons, upgrades, branching paths, missions but getting the ship to move properly and the bombs to work properly was a total pain. It's starting to feel too ambitious.

I never changed engines, I love Godot

oh boy
chink shills are at it again
please just fuckk off and let us have serious game discussions

I thought you said you updated your game.

@460770416
>let us have serious game discussions
You were the one that came in with that Tienenmen square picture

tfw nobody else probably gets that this is Home Alone 1

do you not know how to (You) properly
lurk more before posting pls
youre ruining this thread

Bump

I appreciate the feedback

@460771276
>Implying you deserve any (You)s

Does your game have wiafus, user?

Attached: cammy_white_by_speeh-d4uy8mj.jpg (722x535, 96K)

Do furious ones count?

Do you know anything?

Tienanmen Square massacre. Xi Jinping sucks cock.

With that out of the way, there's literally nothing wrong with unreal engine, Gaben, so stfu.

separate user here, I'd love to use unreal, it looks very difficult to use even with blueprints

Attached: 1555306928618.jpg (500x500, 72K)

of course chink same fag is too dumb to figgure out how to blueprint properly

Where's your game?

he looked like a mouthbreather, add outline for his chin

Please can everyone not feed the troll? We all know who we're talking about.

Blueprints are dumb. Unreal is a pretty powerful tool, so yeah it takes some time and effort to learn. It's not as beginner friendly as unity or godot and shit, but it's a better engine.
Except when it comes to 2d. It's pretty pointless for a 2d game.

its dialect of C++ is shit
