You don't have to match all of them, I'm just curious what your favorite combo would be.
You don't have to match all of them, I'm just curious what your favorite combo would be
every other combo is wrong
bow and arrow is canonically fire you literal brain dead retard, how the fuck would it be earth
Is this for some RPGMaker thing?
shield is earth you stupid faggot, are you blind
>light knuckles
The fuck is that?
Without crossing any lines.
this dude
switch ice and water and we cool.
THUNDER WHIP
cmon now
divine fist techniques
I wrestled with that, but then settled on this because I remember more games with water shielding abilities than ice ones.
agree heavily except for water
water is just a shitty element doesn't really have a weapon type
>poison whip
hell yeah
yep pretty much the only one that doesn't fit.
I wanted to use them all but that was the only odd one out.
Notched Whip + Poison builds in Dark Souls are fun
seems pretty common in dark souls type logic
also if not nature, plant whips, thorns, etc
my fellow ice nigga
fair
Rate my logic.
Switch dagger(wind) with bow(poison) and it's objectively correct.
>shield
>light
This guy gets it.
hammer and fist can be switched im good both ways and whip is with darkness just because it was what was left
I started in the middle and that thought occurred to me after I drew all the lines. Good taste.
I don't like ice hammer, but I ran out of combinations that felt natural.
if your chart doesn't feature at least two of the following:
>fire sword
>earth shield
>nature claws
>thunder whip
it's objectively incorrect
thunder spear is the patricians choice
this was pretty fun
What's wrong with ice hammer?
now THIS is a fucking chart. hard agree with every single option.
Fuck the knuckles
Tough but I like this
Contest me.
DMC3 Beowulf.
Light spear seems to be the most consistent.
why is that.
I have no idea for ice or water
I couldn't choose one each so I just did multiples
More games need claws
thunder whip i do like that
thank you
en.wikipedia.org
earth shield is a pretty common pair too
This guy gets it 100%
Where's my Time and Blood element?
water whip is patrician
Alright faggots, tell me what you think.
find a flaw
Not sure about thunder axe
Hammers are based if they aren't massive
Fire - Hammer: Hammers are tools to make, fire.
Water - Knuckles: Martial Arts flow like water
Wind - Bow: Arrows depend on the air to part
Earth - Shield: Mother Earth protects.
Thunder - Axe: Two things fell trees.
Poison - Dagger: Stinger of Venom.
Ice - Spear: Icicles
Nature - Claws: Only Beasts bare claws.
Light - Sword: A knight is righteous.
Darkness - Whip: Corruption. Servitude.
Water belongs with a staff, not with a weapon.
aight
>thunder axe
based as fuck, bonus points it's because you associate it with Armads
>those line colors
What are you doing
Probably something like this.
Nature is a meme element, objectively speaking.
Bow is nature because it,s a tool for hunting. Theres a reason why we,ve been associating Artemis to bows, the hunt and nature
>Yea Forums - video games
>wind shield
It is a floating shield that protects you from any arrows?
>earth axe
>wind hammer
>ice whip
>water claws
what the fuck
How the fuck do you poison a whip
maybe they're red-green colorblind
I don't care for nature or water much
Fire sword
Water spear
Wind bow
Earth shield
Thunder hammer
Poison dagger
Ice axe
Nature claws
Light whip
Darkness knuckles
That wouldn't explain using black for nature and magenta for darkness
Spotted whip from Dark Souls 2 and 3
>Fire - Hammer: Hammers are tools to make, fire.
Dont even question it, ever
based
Nah, I just think it'd be cool as fuck to have an electric guitar made out of a battleaxe.
You just do
You should be able to solve this.
IGNITE THE FLAME
is this some sort of joke? is there something I'm not getting?
A MOVE THAT CARRIES ALL OF A GODDESS’S SORROWS
>no scythe
what kinda bitch chart is this
Is sword the most applicable to each element?
why not make the bow wind and the hammer light?
Kinda sucks though to not have any magic implements like a wand or staff. Water is so not a melee oriented element its for sure a magic one.
SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIVE
Fucking meme gardening tool.
rekt
this is the only objective truth
it cannot be denied
claws
wew lad
that is so off
>earth sword
>water whip
dude i think you might have a brain tumor
ice is just hard water
you can not beat this.
ice is usually substituted for the absence of heat
excellent work
Fire or Light for everything, preferably both things. I want to bathe my enemies in divine flames.
needs a staff or something for water
r8 me
The only hard ones are light and dark, light is easier since you can use the fact that religious people used maces in battle or at least that's how the tale goes, darkness I see it as dense and heavy so it also makes sense to pair it with the hammer but the knuckles are fine too.
Had to think about the axe a bit but I remembered that scandis used axes so it's perfect for ice.
Yeah but scythes are edgy and cool. You expect someone to command the power of darkness with a hammer or a whip? Scythes are pretty much the ultimate weapon to represent hot topic darkness.
BLESSED POST
earth include metals, sword is basic
whip is the most flexible, it's like water
Spear is sorta similar to a trident so that's why i have it as wter
>You expect someone to command the power of darkness with a hammer
Yeah
Nothing fits water, though and bows are gay so
You can't even use a whip underwater, what a fucking retard.
You use spears for fishing so it is absolutely perfect.
ezpz
big hammer = bigger surface area for blocking sunlight
>earth sword
sword in the stone ring any bells?
I have the exact same thing but thunder and wind switched
You can't use most weapons underwater, tard
9/10 logic
based
Then the shield would be the best, idiot.
Fixed
ezest quiz of my life
>fire sword
ya'll niggas vanilla AF smdh
A trident is typically associated with water - which is a type of spear.
Aquaman has a trident.
Poseidon has a trident.
Navy seals have a trident on their warfare pin.
Etc. Etc.
Prove me wrong.
if your bow isnt aligned to ice for maximum infinite kiting then your list is objectively fucking retarded and you need to redo your alignments
HURRRR
>darkness shield
too defensive, not dark enough
just to be safe
I said most. Learn how to read.
> water axe
> light hammer
What the absolute fuck lad
It’s thunder hammer and fire axe
Light goes to sword and water goes to some faggot weapon
>not having it to wind for max attack speed
>shield
>weapon
who uses ONLY shields to cause damage, Captain America's silly boomerang shit notwithstanding

In that case lightning would be the absolute best faggot.
>stuns
>almost fast as light projectile
>that pic
>not a glock
do u even plastic
wip
>what is a paladin
pretty good
might be better swapping sword and axe
Sword - wind
Represents the light hearted hero.
Axe - Earth
Strong, bulk
Bow - Nature
Archer of the woods, elfs.
Dagger - Darkness
Assassins, thiefs
Spear - lightning
Valkyries
Hammer - Light
Clerics, maces
Whip - Fire
Fiery, for women that are feisty
Claws - Poison
Dunno why really, but ive seen enough "poison claws" weapons
ANd the rest (knuckles and shield) coulnd't match them with something exactly. I would put knuckles wiht light because of monks, and shield with earth, because physical defense and bulkiness.
I ended up with water and wind as extra so they dont fit too much
based Yukari
>ice bow
good choice
>Water hammer
Stopped reading there
>Good list
>no water
why is it hard to pair anything with water
Elements should cover what the method lacks, not just stack.
Light travels at fucking C and every which way, give it to the most useless weapon. Dark Claw follows.
No idea what nature is, but figured if you have a pole arm you've got your gameplan sorted. Put the edge in his throat and watch him drop, don't need to see sparkles fly out.
Same with the bow and arrow, you're going to just camp on crits and head shots anyway.
>how do I beat armor
Not how, WHY are you taking armored targets with attrition? Pick another target or weapon, like pole arm.
Poison Sword because if you're going to take turns hacking at someone might as well make sure they go down shortly after you.
Thunder(???) Whip is because whip typically lacks impact, here's your patch.
Earth Dagger because like pole arm I have no idea what that element does, but maybe hurl rocks with your baby swipes, give someone a concussion. Could make an Earth shield, but then you could just use a real shield and a real weapon. Like a pole arm.
Wind Shield is just so you can push away enemies and projectiles on all sides instead of just wherever your shield is facing. It might seem like just a def stack, but it's more about how I'm not giving a shield offense properties. If you want to attack just pick up a real weapon. Like a pole arm. Next you'll want your healing items to also summon.
You've got a hammer, who cares what else happens after hammering?
Fire Axe because they're what's left.
Maybe should have went with pole arm, stab the fucker and be on your way.
I just placed the weapons under their element so I didn't have to deal with a clusterfuck of lines.
Nature Claws is actually a pretty good combo and fuck you if you say otherwise
>no one connecting fire with knuckles
wtf?
/thread
This is the only correct answer
OP is retarded, shield should have been a staff, now THATS a water weapon
I did.
fiery knuckles are for idiots
"holy shit i can punch fire AAAHHH MY FUCKING HANDS PLEASE GOD STOP
smartass
based off an OC storyline ive been working on
FUCKING THIS
Water and darkness are the odd one here
But I think I'm on point
anyone who doesn't do poison dagger as their first choice is a fucking retard
A whip is the only weapon as fluid and dynamic as water.
A spear is the first weapon invented by all civilizations, so nature fits it best.
Anything but darkness for claws is outright retarded, their function is to maim and kill in the worst of ways.
Ice for sword since preservation, whereas fire for axe since destruction.
here you go bro
>A whip is the only weapon as fluid and dynamic as water.
What about fists, claws, and daggers?
My explanation:
fire is sword because generic flaming hero sword
water is shield because water is good at absorbing impacts
wind is spear because the length and movements of the spear manipulate the wind
earth is axe because axe is heavy like the earth
thunder is claws because claws can attack lightning fast
poison is dagger because dagger and poison pertain to rogues
ice is knuckles because i was running out of weapons to assign ice to and it fits pretty much everywhere
nature is bow because bows are used by elves and shit in the forest
light is hammer because of paladins
darkness is wip because wips are used by succubus demons
>nature
>civilization
swap earth and nature
none of those change their shape like a whip
ice to meet you
a whip doesn't change its shape like water
it also happens to be completely fucking useless in water
>fluid and dynamic as water
>what is lighting
Exactly but then you didn't put fire with knuckles either so I'm torn
Does poison count as a alternate of fire? What would you swap out poison with? Metal? Smoke? Explosions?
Thank you.
Fire is rather aggressive and intimidating, which is a good choice for an axe.
Water goes best with a trident, and a spear is the most similar to a trident.
Wind is a fast, but largely low damage element, perfect for the whip.
Earth and hammer is brain-dead obvious.
Thunder more or less turns your arrows into lightning bolts, which is awesome.
Poison and dagger is also brain-dead obvious.
Ice is rather good for defense, just look at all the failed invasions of Moscow. Therefore, it is shield.
Nature goes with knuckles, because go fuck yourself.
Light is very heroic, and swords are the quintessential hero weapon.
Darkness is some real edgy shit, and claws are the edgiest weapon that was available.
a bow is useless in high wind, what's your point?
this is what i would prefer
when did I ever mention bows?
>not putting poison on dagger
user are u retarded or what
>nature hammer
It’s a no from me dog
>Fire is rather aggressive and intimidating
Yes, it's the hotblood archetype so what's more personnal than your fist? Nothin
One of my favorite vidya elemental systems had one main weapon for each of its elements. While it doesn't match up with mine, here it is:
>Fire: Greatsword
>Water: Trident
>Air: Bow and arrow
>Earth: Mace
>Light: Longsword
>Darkness: Dagger
>Life: Staff
>Death: Twin-bladed knife
>Aether: Taser-sword
>Entropy: Shortsword
>Gravity: Hammer
>Time: Spear
shield yes
dagger yes
sword yes
axe ok
wip ok
bow ok
claws ok
spear ok
knuckles no
hammer no
i am the most correct
very different from mine but i can totally see all of these fitting
>water shield
i didnt know what to do with water
nah fuck you it makes sense
thunder is the coolest shit and every game that makes lightning weak as shit needs to get the fuck out of my face
>sword ice
>knuckles light
uh no
Water doesn't fit anything other than maybe a staff.
Swords are too generic and could fit practically any element.
>in water
this thread isn't about using weapons IN the environment of the elements, it's about what element the weapons represent
*defends with earth shield*
what now atheist?
and yes I forgot to draw a line for axes because my brain is fried from sleep deprivation, fuck you
those two are perfect, you are a fool
i see the merit to that
I always associated whips with water since a whip made out of water would look cool as fuck.
explain how knuckles light makes even a shred of sense
Premium taste coming through
>Metal?
Most of these weapons are metal, the ones that aren't are so for good reason.
>Smoke?
What are you going to do, hotbox your opponent?
>Explosions?
Might as well just suicide vest
>represents
No, it's about what goes best with it, or they'd all be metal like the user above suggested
justice, wrath, and blunt are all things i associate with both light and fists
user POST VERSION 1.01
Removed Claws
Renamed Knuckles to Claws/Fists
Added great sword, throwing knives and ninja swords!
Shield changed to Staff
Bow now named Bow/Crossbow
Added Time and gravity!
>premium
>wind axe
>water dagger
>poison claws
>thunder spear
>darkness hammer
"No"
poison also works with claws.
I just like the idea of speeding around with wind element daggers using the wind to be extra agile.
Perfect.
If you have any of these in your alignments you need to kys right now
>Water Shield
>Poison Claws
>Nature Bow
if you picked anything for dagger not poison please kill yourself
fite me
>No, it's about what goes best with it, or they'd all be metal like the user above suggested
it's not about what element the weapon is made out of either.
you make anything out of wind and it instantly disappears.... etc...
think about thematics, not literals
knuckles are for aggressive barbarians
refined champions of light would use weapons to keep themselves at an arm's distance from the scum that they bring justice upon
paladins have hammers in wow
judges use a hammer in court
light is a fucking hammer my dude
you could make at least make a case for a sword because of the crusades and the religious warriors wielding swords in the past
>water
>shield
WRONG TRY AGAIN
>fire axe
>darkness knuckles
>water shield
i usually associate water with poisons and therefore daggers, but since poison is its own element, i didn't match them up. so i matched water and knuckles because i also didn't have anything for knuckles either.
thunder and bow, spear, or maybe whip would be the coolest
Fire sword because generic hero upgrade
Water shield because earth is taken and they're both out of place on this image
Wind bow because arrows are feathered and fly through the air
Earth knuckles because the only way to make fists great is punching people with the raw blunt force of a mountain
Thunder spear because lightning rod
Poison dagger because poison is a dickass element and daggers are dickass weapons
Ice axe because snowpicks
Nature whip because vines
Light hammer because paladin
Dark claws because edgy
>Fire Sword
>Water Whip
>Gale Ace
>Rock Hammer
>Lightning Spear
>Poison Dagger
>Ice Claws
>Nature Shield
>Bow of Light
>Fists of Darkness
Checks out.
Chads go with fire axe for the pun
Objective truth
You can't deny the truth faggots
I'm right
FINALLY
SOMEBODY THAT HAS A BRAIN
/thread
>he actually picked fire sword
NOW That's What I Call Based Vol. 12
finally someone who doesn't use fucking lines as if i'm going to waste my time tracing lines 100 times itt
>he actually picked fire
This is pretty damn close. I think Thunder Hammer feels weird but the rest fits so...
OP asked for your favorites, not what makes the most sense
I'm not gonna deny the holiness of a hammer, but what about monks, dude? Inner strength and huge damage with nothing but what god gave you.
This is the only objectively true reply
Thunder Hammers, we're Thor now.
>that post
youtu.be
you are a god amongst men
>giving each weapon three elements
>still doesn't give hammer lightning
fucking dumbass goddamn
This entire thread is proof that water is the worst fucking element
>light shield
>wind dagger
>fire sword
>lightning axe
>poison whip
>nature bow
>darkness claws
>ice spear
>water knuckles
>earth hammer
Fuck you I'm at work and phone posting, the bow and knuckles I don't feel strongly about, they were matched the way they were because that's all that was left
>3 elements for hammer
>none are thunder
I didn't think it was possible to be more wrong but you managed it
My favorites are the ones that make the most sense
WATER SHOULD BE FOR STAFF
AAAAAAARRRGGGGGG OP FUCKING FAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGETTTTTTTTT
THIS IS THE ONE
Well, you are a boring person. Correct, but boring.
Also, explanations for my choices:
>Fire Axe
Fire and axes are both associated with aggression, the primitive, and the conversion of trees into something humanity can use
>Water Claws
Crab claw weapons are underrated.
>Wind Sword
Cut quickly with the sword, and with the sweeping shockwave "wind blades" that follow. The motion of the sword is as the wind, and the wind as a blade.
>Earth Shield
ALL IN ALL IT'S JUST A
NOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL
>Thunder Whip
Crack of a whip, crack of a thunderbolt. Strike of a whip, strike of lightning. Plus, possible wire imagery.
>Poison Dagger
Aside from being one of the cliche combinations, works with stinger or fang imagery pretty well.
>Ice Knuckles
Ice and Water tend to have some similarities, as do claws and knuckles. Plus, ice gauntlets or cestii could be pretty cool.
>Nature Hammer
Hammers and clubs go well with the primal, animalistic Nature.
>Light Spear
Picture this: A shimmering, golden javelin. Held aloft, it reflects the beams of the sun, even when it does not shine. When thrown, it vanishes, a streak of light across the air through its target. It appears at the end of the beam - already having pierced through where its light shined.
>Darkness Bow
An archer cloaked in darkness, firing solid shadows.
Easy
Fire Bow - Applies fire dot at a distance and can light the way or light a torch at a distance
Water Claws - equip these when you want to swim fast
Wind Whip - Imagine getting hit by a whip powered by the wind
Earth Hammer - Causes an earthquake when it hits the ground
Thunder Knuckles - Cus if I'm in close range combat I want to be stunning and shocking my opponent
Poison Dagger - Applies a poison dot which scales well with daggers speed
Ice Shield - When I block I want my opponent to be slowed
Nature Axe - excels at cutting down trees
Light Spear - Raise it high in the air and it blinds your enemies
Darkness Sword - Sword can be literally anything and its still good
This.
Where are the weapon sprites from?
OR
unequip weapons
I'm not using any pansy claws
If you're chart doesn't have Thunder with Hammer, it's automatically garbage
eh I wouldn't consider monks to be fighting with holy spirit. They are more about discipline as monks are typically Buddhists trying to reach enlightenment. Buddhists don't worship a god or deity, they simply acknowledge the path of the Buddhas before them.
also monks sometimes wield staffs
paladins fight in the name of god
That's a funny way of spelling Wip
>nature axe
Nig what?
This is correct but water and ice switch
ok here
Eh...
OP POST VERSION 1.02
CLAWS ARE BACK!
NINJA SWORDS REMOVED
NOW THIS IS THE REAL SHIT BECAUSE OP IS A FAGGOT FOR FORGETTING THE MOST IMPORTANT WEAPON FOR A MAGE OR A HEALER (WATER), A STAFF
don't @ me im a simple person
>ice bow
Finally someone with good taste
>new sprites don't match
hello I'd like to roll back to 1.0
>itt claws go with darkness
Rate?
that sucks ass fuck you
link every element to knuckles, except each element is a different discipline
i dont even know where OP got his sweet, sweet icons but im not gonna spend more time doing this shit
enjoy the new patch, user
Here's what it should be:
Light + Nature
Darkness + Poison
Wind + Thunder
Water + Ice
Then either Fire + Earth or Earth + Metal and Fire + Blood
Yes
I went with what I thought would look best rather than what makes sense. Rate my shit taste
>tfw shield main
Fuck this update
mine desu
By dipping the tip in poison? Fuckin duh
Fire Sword
Water Whip
Wind Spear
Earth Axe
Thunder Hammer
Poison Claws
Ice Shield
Nature Knuckles
Darkness Dagger
I ran out of ideas for water and didn't want to do it. I don't get why there isn't a staff option.
>nature bow
you must be the most boring user here
at least we can all agree that daggers are poison, bows are ice and claws are darkness
Are there any games that allow you to do this? Choose from different weapons and give one an elemental property, I mean.
no
fuck you anime poster
r8
divinity OS does this, its useful too
skyrim
claws are earth bitch
Give me a hammer of darkness and I’ll be a happy man
no youre the anime poster faggot
Circle of the Moon.
Diablo and other ARPGs similar to it allow you to add elemental properties with socketing
this may be the worst alignments Ive ever seen in my existence on this world
Only correct answer.
Mine
Didn't draw lines because fuck that convoluted shit
what the fuck is wrong with you
I barely give a shit bows and just seen them as a pansy elf weapon, it fits a girly element like nature well. Heck I don't even care about guns or any ranged weapon, if you're too much of a pussy to beat the shit your opponent at close range with your hard trained and earned muscles then you do not deserve to be in my party.
Me on the left
There's a shitload of games that let your enchant elements into your weapons, especially Post-Skyrim games. Play more RPGs user.
I did the opposite. Which weapons match up to each element
>no poison bows
It's like you don't even want long range debuffs.
The whole point is to see which combo works best. Bows and nature intuitively go together.
Read it and weep
lol
Pigeonholing each element or weapon into a single combination is stupid. Here's a listing of all the sensible combinations which there are clear examples of for each combination.
*bows arrow at ur head*
nothing personnel kid
Shield isn't a weapon
Based wind knuckles.
draw a line you stupid mongoloid don't come with your autistic shit
unless you have autism or low iq your brain will register dots more clearly than a line
sorry nigga but i can read
>poison sword
absolutely wrong, the thing that the sword lacks is armor penetration. Fire or Lightning would do better for it.
Based
/thread
>The shield has the most surface area and is therefore the best at distributing light. In addition the light gives it additional utility besides raw defense, that plays to its strength because it's not just raw attack power.
>Poison being the dagger is cliche, but it is for a reason. A dagger's strength is in how easy it is to conceal, so naturally a method of killing that's indirect and is tough to pin the killer plays to its strengths.
>Swords are extremely versatile weapons, so the raw destructive power that fire typically provides is a good fit for them.
>Similarly axes are weapons focused on raw destructive chopping power, so the versatility and mobility that water brings to the table covers its weaknesses.
>Whips, like lightning are iconic for that fierce cracking sound that they make. Therefore the thunder augmentation improves upon what's already there while also, by the nature of electricity lets it penetrate through armor and shields that would otherwise stop it.
>The bow depends on the flight of a projectile through the air. The element of wind would allow you to manipulate that trajectory to be as ideal as possible.
>The traditional weapon of nature is claws, and the versatile toolkit nature that interpretations of nature as an element can provide is a perfect match for a strange weapon with many weaknesses.
>Spears are weapons that work best at a distance, while ice is an element that is traditionally related to slowing and stopping enemies, so the ice element allows you to kite and space your attacks very easily.
>Darkness is an element, that because you're in darkness when you sleep and close your eyes, is associated with a loss of conscious thought. That can be applied to the knuckles as a weapon that can deliver a knock out punch, or as the controlling iron fist of a supreme dark overlord.
>Hammers are weapons traditionally associated with slow attacks in exchange for unstoppable power. This gives it many ways to interact with earth/S.A
Guess the game Yea Forums.
a line is just the distance between two points
Ah fuck I meant to do another one from Thunder to Claws but oh well.
Reasoning/autism additions:
>Fire Bow - flaming arrows
>Water Sword - comes from the lake
>Wind Dagger - Chuck that shit at your enemies
>Earth Hammer - make earthquakes
>Thunder Knuckles - thunderclap attack
>Poison Claws - Thief/scout weapon
>Ice Spear - pin guys to walls with it like an icicle
>Nature Whip - looks like a vine and cuts
>Light Shield - keeps the darkness back
>Darkness Axe - favourite weapon of the raider
but a line is also a point on a different plane
Water is a meme as an element
Ice fits much better, and its also water
Magicka, though the weapons aren't that good.
based and chillpilled
sry i didnt want to turn your autism on
Think outside the box for elements like water, it doesn't have to be dripping water or be imbued with water magic or some shit, it could be bestowed on you from a lady in the lake, or cut through the air like a river cuts through the earth.
Whip if you're creative
colored dots just make you have to draw a line between them for association so really you're making a two step process
Nah, that's shield.
Poison is not a fucking element. Your spit is just as "poisonous" as the puddle of purple or green goo.
Patch Notes 1.04.1 Candidate:
Replaced Poison Element with "Mercury" (not final)
Going about pairing each one I come to this. Some elements you can make the case for almost anything, some are super tricky. Nature and earth are one of those. Water's almost impossible. It's hard to picture as an attribute for an object. Its one of the elements here that is characterized by physical matter but however it's a liquid so its hard to associate with tangible solid objects.
Water is a GOAT element.
>The exact line between life and death
>Filled with horrifying monsters
>Able to choke the breath from people.
>Can fucking laser cut people.
>Can fucking fire hose people.
>Obvious healing and refreshing properties.
>Can only be attacked chemically.
>Any living organism contains a shitload of water. (Water is inside of you right now)
>Fucking everywhere during rain
>Floods
>Tsunamis
>Mobility is heavily limited inside of it, can just fucking sweep you away too.
The only true answers.
Water can work with a shield or whip due to going with the flow and the fluid motion nature of a whip respectively
Water is a great spell but a terrible enchantment.
painfully generic.
Thanks doc
I would switch spear and hammer.
Tehnks dok
Finally the thread is picking up
Danke Herr Doktor
fuck I forgot it. Here it is
Wind knuckles are the most based pairing indeed. Wind is great versatile element that suits lots of stuff but knuckles is just too good.
whomst'd've ever do poison-dagger is retarded
Glad someone rolled a healer.
>no nature claws
>all the best animals use claws
retards
here's your chart bro
The problem isn't water, but creativity. Water has so many things going for it that it's hard to pin down its strengths, but that is its strength.
Ice is coldness. Water is water.
Ah, Doctor, glad you're here.
I put poison for the claws, think of a Komodo Dragon or some shit. Fuck off.
>+Max HP
>+Cure All Ailments
>+Buff All Stats
Herr Doktor, you've out did yourself! A medical masterpiece!
>no anger element
Amazing. Doc always delivers.
Total Anarchy
>No dark sword that draws in light for big attacks
I just want my edgy dark motif while also dishing out the power of both light and dark in games
light
The air knife is a recurring final fantasy weapon tho
Also you can throw them like a projectile. Seems pretty wind to me.
only if you wear a fedora
What are you even going for? Opposites? Alternate forms? Related things? Those pairs are all over the place.
Based mary sue bro.

I'm pretty sure they coat their claws in their spit, if it's not Komodos it's another creature, anyways, I'm still in the right.
Any other match is wrong.
but why not light?
THE WIND IS PUSHING ME
Same lmao
Hammer is obviously earth
>[muffled Simple and Clean PLANITb playing in the DARK distance]

yeah dude you are right man
What kind of light and darkness are they though?
Religious light and darkness like holy and unholy, or real light and darkness like lasers, high speed, illusions for light, and gravity, blackholes for darkness?
shield could've been earth too, but hammer fits earth better and water is usually seen as defensive magic
Undead scum needn't apply
whip should be thunder, whip cracks are similar
See you in the next zone, goblin.
water shield: high pressure swirling water could probably block or knock away stuff
wind whip: curving blade/twister of air
ice axe: unoriginality
nature claws: be one with the animals
earth spear: idk, like stabbing people with stalagmites?
darkness knuckles: void fist
>hammer
>not thunder
What the fuck are they teaching kids at schools these days?
Go the fuck back to being really dead, Xehanort
>shield element sword
oh no
I like darkness.
Actually that's a fair point. Darkness and Thunder can switch places on mine
I spent about a minute on this. Do not ignore me.
>Fire Whip
>Water Sword
>Wind Spear
>Earth Shield
>Thunder Hammer
>Poison Dagger
>Ice Claws
>Nature Bow
>Light Knuckles
>Darkness Axe
>water hammer
woooosh
*ignores u*
Water hammer is the choice for intelligent nihilists with a wicked sense of humor, such as myself
Bit of a convoluted picture but green is restricted to matching everything up and red isn't
Yeah, I'm thinking he's based.
I'm gonna steal your image and reformat it for my own purpose.
>poison... whip
>when there's a fucking dagger right there
>poison shield
Explain
Thunder is low tier. You have incredibly fast attacks, but you decide to telegraph that shit with one of the most recognisably loud noises possible. It's like creating a perfectly stealthy ninja and giving them a megaphone and stomp lights on their shoes. Not to mention thunder itself is just a sound, at least use lightning.
STAND THE FUCK BACK
Not that guy, but a shield which does poison damage on block.
Shield is poison, someone hits you, they're poisoned now.
>poison dagger
>when there's a bow right there
If you're close enough to stab someone why bother with poison if you could just slit their throat? You want to hit someone unexpectedly with poison and them let it slowly kill them. Range is optimal for that strategy.
soulsfriends think of whips as poison or bleed weapons
Is this your enemy?
>the eternal stealth archer
based and regipilled
Daggers are historically poisoned because it's harder to strike a killing blow. You can't count on a 1-hit KO like that.
>light dagger
r8
Which element is Bonesaw?
>sword being anything other than light
A strong poison that's always ready, but only lasts for 5 minutes of playtime
A shield isn't a weapon you dingus
Here, I fixed it for you
This is the objective correct answer
Water Spear is the only Water that makes sense.
What I would want to play is punching thunder
R8 and h8
maybe but thunder spear is objectively more fun
ITT: Retards
Well sure, thunder is a more exciting element. But thunder anything works, basically.
Spear is obviously wind you pleb. Dagger is water.
Legitimately based and redpilled.
This is undeniably the most accurate
Happy hanukkah to you too, user.
Now stop arguing.
Justify "water dagger" right this instant.
Do this, but with shield. Name that anime!
Sword and axe were the odd ones out, since the others had obvious connections to me.
I saw spear as light, on a paladin. Sword fits wind, like a sword dancer. Water would fit well too to represent fluid movement but water's usually for defensive magic which fits shield better. Sword is only light when paired with a shield.
I like "nature whip." Like a thorny vine or something.
not that guy, but icicles.
Smooth and flowing free
A gentle slice lacerates
Death to all niggers
Frozen Superfluid will give the most perfect blade
Flawless.
>water anything
why water and not ice then?
Ice is its own element on the chart, user.
Why the fuck wouldn't I
Mjölnir
"ICE" is on the chart, motherfucker.
>Ice
>Water
>Different element
Yes, exactly. Or something like a root or plant stem with a flower at the end.
Seemed the natural choice to me.
Poison I get, but wind? Why Wind Knuckles or Wind Hammer when Earth packs a punch?
This user gets it.
Claws being anything but nature. Literally a weapon based off a wild beast
ice should be a hybrid element between water and fire (temperature control). Think how in naruto water+earth=wood for example.
It's only natural
I thought ice because sneasel. Nature makes sense too but it's the first thing that came to mind. Nature fits bow better because wood elves and elven archers.
Wind is the best tank element in my eyes. Also speed and mobility
chek em
ah but a superfluid isn't technically ice. Also it was a trick it's actually impossible to freeze superfluids. pretty sure it would do something weird like go through your (relatively) solid body
A hammer isn't exactly the goto "swift" weapon.
Yes that's why it's good to give it some speed
>ah but a superfluid isn't technically ice
Then it especially isn't "Water" now is it?
you go Ice Hammer if you're chad enough
Every one of these makes sense.
Best magic system would be fire, water, wind, earth and aether/energy. You can create most things by combining any two to create secondary magic types. A few examples:
>wind+energy=thunder
>water+energy=ice
>fire+water=steam
>wind+water=storm
>earth+water=life/nature
The fuck is "nature"?
Anyway
Poison dagger
Wind bow
Lightning spear
Fire sword
Water whip
Ice axe
Earth hammer
Light shield
Other two are lame
OMP OMP OMP
fire is associated with blacksmithing so it uses hammer
water is spear because it could be a harpoon
wind gets bow because it's aerodynamic
earth is claws because many animals use claws for digging
thunder is sword because holiness, angels with swords etc.
poison dagger, deceptive and concealed
ice axe since axes are used in ice climbing
nature whip, not sure what nature means but I'm assuming it involves taming beasts so a whip is fitting
light is knuckles because light=good and good fighters don't need anything more than their fists
darkness is shield because evil people are cowards who need shields
Fire Sword
Water Spear
Wind Bow
Earth Shield
Thunder Hammer
Poison Dagger
Ice Claws
Nature Whip
Light Knuckles
Darkness Axe
this. water ruins fucking everything on here. only place that it even makes slight sense to me is whip.
>Light=good
Bow is light, because you need good aim to use a bow!
Hammer is light, because you need to have good strength to lift a heavy hammer!
Shield is light, because if you're not good at blocking you'll get hurt!
Rate
Wind is the best element because it's the only one not countered by anything else on the list
It's called superfluid because it does odd things that are especially like water. I mean odd, like "dripping" through completely solid things. It's superwater nigga
I mean good as in benevolent force
Fire > Ice > Wind > Earth > Thunder > Water > Fire
Light > Dark > Light
Poison is a meme status ailment
>Thunder Bow
I think Heretic 2 had a weapon like that. It was pretty badass.
I'd argue it can be countered by earth. Wind won't topple mountains, and people find shelter from wind behind stable structures as they break up the current. It's arbitrary though as most of the elements can't be directly damaged.
God, shut up with your fucking "superfluids." This is a fantasy based thread, not a Science blog.
This leaves me with more questions than answers, honestly.
It's a cool concept, shooting lightning bolts and create thunder claps as the string is released.
Nice try retards, but you're all wrong.
Looks like I'll have to show you how it's done again.
True but Earth can't do anything to Wind either, meanwhile Earth gets countered by water and ice and nature
Dumb isekaiposter.
What exactly does Darkness entail
Why would I ever pick it over Light
>ugandan knuckles
>calls everyone else a retard
yeah okay retard
>light being anything other than a sword
Earth and nature have a similar truce, they're kinda tied together. Most elemental combinations cause issues though if you start to think too deeply. Most people agree that fire beats ice, but then it melts into water which would beat fire. If you argue that fire would boil water then water is basically useless. Fire can be covered or starved of oxygen to extinguish it, so earth might be advantageous. Wind could blow out a fire or cause it to spread and heat faster. It's all arbitrary.
>water bow
opinion discarded
>all these thunder hammers
Honestly a little surprised.
