Only buy on PC or Switch since PC can use the Orchestral mod and the Switch gets the Orchestral soundtrack baked in. On those two platforms it's worth a full 60 dollars easily.
Don't be like this guy , the PS4 version isn't worth getting under any circumstance.

I'm currently playing it now OP. Definitely worth $30. It is comfy as hell. It feels like a classic 90s JRPG with a modern aesthetics . Get it now while it's on sale

The composer is a hack fraud that forced the game to release with a shitty MIDI soundtrack. The PC version can be modded, so people have put the actual orchestral compositions into the game and they sound great.

The MIDI soundtrack is actual garbage and ruins the actually good original songs. Since you spend a lot of time listening to the soundtrack, the MIDIs get annoying really quick. Any version of the game that has the option to not use the MIDIs is automatically better than those that aren't.

I don't know if that's even slightly true, but it would make sense.
