The dust will never settle for this game if plebs like you keep shitposting it

definitely not. I'm waiting for a pc release to retry it and see if good controls and shooting can help but I doubt it

dutch never settled

25 million sales (still going strong) and 97 metacritic says yes. It lived up to my expectations in what I wanted in an RDR1 sequel (which is essentially RDR1 but next gen). Anyone who says otherwise is either:

>salty PClard see: ("Definitely not. I'm waiting for a PC release")
>someone who didn't enjoy RDR1 (game isn't even made for these plebs)

fuck no the gameplay and missions were fucking shit.

THATS THE WAY IT IS

Gameplay was unironically based, git gud at freeaim you scrub

What was wrong with the gameplay? Mission structure was shit (like all open world games) but the gameplay was absolutely top notch

>great horse control
>great AI
>great gunplay
>incredibly varied

Dunno what else you expected. Now's the part where you compare its gameplay to DMC, Vaunguard or some stupid shit that you retards always do

No it's literally an open world version of The Order 1886, that only gets a pass because it's a Rockstar game.

Literally nothing like Order 1886 and it's better than your favorite game. Cope PCpleb

It's great, shitters who whine about the controls can get fucked, what were you expecting?

I don't even get the control complaints. It feels perfectly fine in combat, see this dudes videos in how smooth it can be if you get good.

It's meant to be a weighty and realistic Western sim (with obvious liberties such as dead eye). Having you jumping around the map like Halo just wouldn't fit the tone of the game. People complaining about its controls clearly were not the target audience for this game.

My only complaint is the forced walking areas, like in the camps. That shit pissed me off. The bounty system was also way too strict, barring that, game was a legit 10/10

Not even close, try to play multiplayer for example

I had high expectations. It exceeded my expectations in the storytelling and spectacle department. I was pretty dramatically let down by the gameplay.

A great experience overall.

It was definitely a huge technical achievement. I think it's unparalleled in the TECHNOLOGY department. But as a game that you play to have fun, I don't think it hit the mark.

MP is great though people just seem to have a fixation on the lobby sistem for some reason, but then you should just play SP if that's what you want. The actual base multiplayer modes are great because the game has some robust shooting mechanics.

I enjoyed it but honestly no. Introduced some cool ideas though.

What was wrong with the gameplay considering it's a Red Dead Redemption game? It exceeded RDR1 in every front in that regard. What more were you expecting?
>multiplayer
There's your problem

>git gud at freeaim you scrub
video you linked has the dude using slomo
