So why is 2 considered the better game of 1 or the pre sequel? Ive only played 2 as you can tell

Oh and zero is objectively the best character in 2

Attached: zer0-entry-image.png (625x687, 376K)

2 is considered garbage and the games after it are even worse

>Game lets the player choose which character they want to play as
>Game features an edgy assassin character
>He actually manages to be 1 of 2 memorable protagonists from 7 choices
Yeah Zer0 is pretty based

Mmm i beg to differ, most people recommended to me 2 over 1 or the pre sequel

1 is substantially blander and more boring than 2. Especially if you've played it to death.

Only.PC players and fat people with literally no lives play Borderlands 2.

Attached: 1529292594794.gif (321x310, 1.2M)

Im skinny ond play on ps3

Nowhere near as much content in 1 and pre-sequel as there is in 2. 1 looks bland as shit and pre-sequel being on the moon gets boring real fast

2 has the by far the most content and outside of the slag mechanic is the better game
just the writing and VAs are pure shit, its a lot better if theyre muted

That's because you just started playing and you're not on uvhm yet. You'll drop the game soon.

Uvhm?

No clue, shit scaling, shit story and dialogue. Horrible difficulty settings and bad pacing.

Pre-sequel is unironically the most enjoyable to play. Best character skill trees, and movement make up for a lot of its shortcomings.

Lilith is similar to Zero in Bordelands 1. I can play with these two. I played with Bricks but switched to Lilith on second Playtrough in co op and even as underleveled as hell i enjoy it. Bordelands 1 don't have meme jokes so it is better game for me.

>Oh and zero is objectively the best character in 2
Wrong

Attached: 1554332032678.jpg (751x1063, 149K)

>be me, level 3
>playan borderlands
>discover bandit camp too early and get destroyed
>return a few levels and a quest later
>destroy the camp and unlock my first big loot chest
>gamer boner

>also be me
>playan borderlands 2
>discover bandit camp higher level than me
>bandit ai suspiciously lenient
>unload 2 magazines from pistol into one braindead bandit
>kill it and leave virtually unscathed
>5 achievement trackers for stats that shouldn’t be achievements
>every other enemy I kill from then on gives the same repetitive trackers
>get feedback overload and suddenly boss kills feel as exciting as skag kills and loot as exciting as ellie

Gearbox really overdid it with Borderlands 2.

ew

What the fuck are you talking about? I remember Maya, Gaige, and Krieg way more than the rest of the characters if I had to recall all of the cast in Borderlands 2. Zero is absolute shit and he's forgettable BECAUSE he's nothing but a generic robo assassin.

The first half of the game great, the atmosphere is way more grim than Borderlands 2, most of the game really.
It kinda goes to shit shortly after you reach new haven but it's a solid game.
That said, it is far less memorable than 2, especially the boss fights, weapons and maps.

That's not how you spell Krieg

>zero is objectively the best character in 2
>melee skill tree forces you to use a single specific gun and a single specific shield to do anything
>play-style amounts to smashing melee and hoping they die before you do
>sniper skill tree has an ability that can't be used to its fullest potential even with a modded gun and a standing target
>both trees have zer0 synergy with each other and rely on his third oddball tree to have any form of versatility

>never finished playing Bl2 because how much worse the loot system was turned me off in spite of everything else being better
>Hear the community patch and other overhauls fix not only loot scaling, but also make uniques and legendaries work more like they did in BL1
>Can't get any of my friends to do a run with me to give it a try
>Forgot the name of the other overhaul

fuck, how do I find people to play with, and does anybody know the name of the second overhaul

good taste

>Sledge's Shotgun was my favorite gun in 1
>mfw getting it in 2

Attached: 1488525961255.gif (336x256, 401K)

because 2 had a fuck ton more content, events and attention.

not to mention
>melee skill tree ceases to work once you reach TVHM

2 has the most content and the best designed areas individually, even though 1 feels more connected/cohesive as a world.

Google, but he's talking about Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode

based.

The recent mod? Reborn, I think.

BL1 is the best borderlands feel.
BL2 is a more fun-oriented and well fleshed game.
Prove me wrong.
You can't.

>Ive only played 2
And that is why most people considere it the best one.

>BL2 is a more fun game
>enemies and damage scale so fucking terribly you literally have to change guns every 10 minutes to keep tickling them
>all of TUVH mode
>game has horrible pacing and skill trees so you spend 20 hours until you get something resembling a build because everything is +4% reload speed or some shit
Nah, fuck off. BL2 is a terrible game.
Nah, fuck off

>he has to constantly switch guns on normal and TVHM
git gud

I miss the atlus orion and chimera weapons

"people", you mean normie fags
borderlands 2 is a memelands faggotry and the only 2 heroes worth using are krieg and gunzerker as they either out dps or out regen everything and zero is objectively the worst hero ever.
fuck off with your shitty faggot tastes nig

If you honestly TVHU is hard off yourself.
I'm literally playing on a 3 man party without a single gunzerker and we burst the fucking dragons of destruction with ease.
We've been running rampant since level 61 and in no way the game has made us stop and reconsider our strategy or builds or even give us the need to better our equipment.

Consider learning to play the game in not baby-mode, faggot.

>"WAAAH MOMMY TVHU IS 2HARD"

>melee skill tree forces you to use a single specific gun and a single specific shield to do anything
Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ, this. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to make a melee character and then restrict the melee bonus on randomly generation weapons to fucking 50%?

Do people over here seriously think this game is some sort of hardcore experience?
Like
Just level up, pick gear, rush into UVHM and get into OP levels.
I have a lvl 72 Zer0 and I'm having a blast with a fucking Omen and a Killer Mod with a shotgun dmg relic, speccing into Blue and Green skilltrees.
I mostly one-shot Hyperius with B0re and can literally fuck up the dragons alone.
Oh, also Gunzerker is a fucking crutch for people who know nothing about the game.

TVHM blows, every second enemy is either a badass or rabid variant
>go to sawtooth
>literally every enemy there is a blaster goliath, storm nomad or armoured psychos

>TVHMU is too hard
This board is nothing but shitters jesus christ.

I don't know if they are actually mistaking True with Ultimate or they unironically think medium difficulty is hard.

>TVHM is hard
Jesus

I love it when Yea Forums says a character/build sucks in UVHM/OP despite being literally a short search away from proven wrong.

>bbbbbut mmmmeeelee serou is bad

>BL3 doesn't have revolvers
game's already fucked

Attached: 1544663818486.png (1080x1059, 808K)

It does though. Still waiting on masher confirmation

>repeaters reskinned as revolvers

Is it confirmed there's only BL2 style revolvers then?

Your eyes deceive you, an illusion fools you all, i move for the kill.

Attached: Borderlands 3 zero intro.webm (1280x720, 2.85M)

Didn't they show a revolver in the gameplay reveal?

BoredomLands 1 > BoyLove 2 &+

Attached: 1412364031131.gif (606x423, 467K)

Revolvers from BL2 onward are in name only. They're just normal repeaters except with no auto-fire.

He looks a lot better. Dig the sword scarf thing he has going on

Not that user but I found TVHM way harder than UVHM on my last playthrough (gaige), died a fucking lot. Mostly because the droprates for single player are god awful (blues and purples) so you play most of the thing with shitty greens, quest weapons and maybe some legos that last 5 levels if you can afford the patience to farm them.
Later I went through UVHM and it was a breeze cause I got decent drops early on.

so the problem is that they share the same ammo pool as the pistols?

Why wouldn't they be? Look at any screenshot showing the characters ammo inventory. There is no revolver class of ammo, only repeaters.

>0:11
>The robot points a gun at him
>Zero jumps over it super slowly
>The robot has a gun pointed directly in his face the whole time
>Zero lands and crouches there for a second, with a gun in his face
>Then HAYAIs

What the fuck is this?

Attached: 1555564358073.jpg (1280x705, 87K)

No the problem is they were a unique weapons type that played differently and now they are not

Zero's just as neat as I remember him.

> doesn't post why other games are better
nice argument idiot

>play-style amounts to smashing melee and hoping they die before you do
That's why you use longbow teslas to activate your roid damage and hit the damage cap. There's no reason to mash melee unless you suck.
>sniper skill tree has an ability that can't be used to its fullest potential even with a modded gun and a standing target
All you need is a single low level vladof rifle to stack up critical ascension to ~200 stacks then you can one shot crit anything with a muckamuck
Get better

Who was the best melee character in 2? I remember using mostly melee with Zer0 but that was only because he had a sword, did he actually spec well into melee?

what made revolvers unique in BL1? Never really used them because I thought they were ass except for the torgue barreled ones

>200 = 999
Get smarter

You missed out big time, nothing has ever played like Mordecai with a masher since. Lower fire rate, high crit damage with affixes like masher that gave them pellets. They're like a shotgun sniper pistol and actually good unlike the shells they are in BL2/TPS

>High damage
>High accuracy
>Great affinity for elemental damage
>Mashers

Ah, another man of culture.

Attached: gaige_by_maze_d-d5r9ita.jpg (428x780, 315K)

Yeah he specs into melee great

I mean yeah shes hot but her action skill essentially just plays the game for you

Not really, he's just a distraction while you wreck everything with anarchy. His ai sucks big time

sounds pretty cool, makes me want to replay BL1 again.Hopefully BL3 bring some manufacturing mixing with green, blue and purple text guns instead of a little with just legendaries. The handsome jack gun that's hyperion, can be thrown like a tediore and explodes like a torgue is cool but is only a legendary, same with the automatic jakobs rifle, cool start but hopefully there's more

I prefer 1 due to the comfy factor. Can't really explain it. It may have to due with them not trying so hard in the first game to be funny.
A lot of the combat is a broken mess but I just like it more than 2 or pre

Hes still killing guys for you
Zer0s action skill mostly just distracts guys too but you still have to kill them yourself unless you get Unforeseen

And then they tried too hard with the DLC.

I'll admit the zombie dlc is a bit memey but Roxxy and General Knox are great dlcs

I wasnt aware people thought the 2nd one was the best. I prefer the 1st. It has (had) better drop rates and better gun designs.
Also its actually funny and I dont have some dipshit calling me up every 20 minutes to be an asshole at me (I did like Jake, he was just annoying). 2 had its moments but it also had that problem where The characters from the first game would say how much of a badass you where when I remember playing the first one and rofl stomping giant monsters and robots and standing in the middle of a group of level 64 enemies and tanking bullets like a fucking boss. It came off as super disingenuous.

Moxxy dlc is trash. I hope you mean robolution

>take slag transfusion/singularity nade
>can kill fags with weapons that are not extremely underleveled
Wow that was pretty difficult

trying too hard to fit in

Pre Sequel would have been the best if they had actually followed through on DLC for it, and they could have explored a number of different events leading up to BL2.
Wilhelm was incredibly fun to play as and I would have loved to play through a DLC where you fuck up New Haven.

heres the smallest claptrap playing the smallest violin

The are all mediocre, Knoxx is probably the best but that's not much to say. At least zombie island had quick travel

Randy bitchford MEME loving children. kill yourself faggots

no u

I think quick travel ruined 2. The game stops being a cohesive world and just becomes levels separated by a loading animation.
And Roxxy was a good dlc, fuck you.

Well, now BL3 will be all levels, each planet barely being as big as Elpis from TPS so they can go quantity over quality.

Each planet is about the same size as Pandora in 2. Stop looking for arbitrary shit to complain about. If you don't want to play the game, nobody is going to force you to, so fuck off.

Come the fuck on,TVHM is not hard, had some difficulty because underleveled weapons and since i rushed around with Maya i was underleveled aswell, but just getting the right legendaries and you can breeze trough it

Are you fucks talking about true vault mode or ultimate?

Because they're both easy as piss, just one eats up way more time than it's worth.

Attached: 1555185098162.jpg (640x560, 82K)

>convenience is bad
Fuck off.

user was having trouble on True Vault Hunter, only way to have trouble in it is having shit drop luck and placing your skill points all over the place
